CAP 3 CAP 3 - Part 8 (Stat spread selection)

Well... I am not to familiar with the CAP project, but I am sure revisions can be made if our Fire/Grass pokemon flops, or if the community realizes it would be 1000x better as a sweeper.

Thats the great thing about CAP... nothing is set in stone like it is when gamefreak makes a pokemon. We can change our pokemon to suit the communities desires.

So if you guys feel the need to complain, do it after you test out the pokemon as a bulky role.

Making it this bulky has wasted alot of the great support moves that come with fire/grass.

Sorry if I come off as rude, but I don't understand why people are complaining about it now when there was a five-day thread in which everyone posted their stat spreads in? I think that the previous stat thread is a more justifiable place for these complaints.

I should add that we're here to pick the best spreads, while justifying why you think they are the best if you feel you should.

EDIT: Because I saw the previous post, I think everyone should put the numbers next to each name. It'd make it a lot easier on Gothic_Togekiss when he is tallying the counts.

I'm trolling because i don't agree with your spread? that is excellent logic Aldaron. Seriously though, that is the most stupid thing i have ever heard. If you stayed in the so called " balanced" definition, why does everyone seem to think the Pokemon is more defensive, than balanced?

I really would like to see a good SubSeeding and Special Attacking pokemon. Why are we making counters for stuff when we could make something with great offensive potential that will alreayd have counters in our metagame? It wouldn't be unbalanced, and we could have something to finally give us auto sun in OU.

Off topic, this is about voting for the best BST from which the community picked. This discussion isn't off topic. Also i have still yet to see how you have sticked to a definition of being balanced, also, when did i call anyone stupid. Actually it was idiot logic on your part, because i;m not off topic. This is an discussion about the BST and how they aren't fitting for what the community wanted.

Do we have an offensive stat base like we do for SkarmCents and BlissCents? I think we don't, so somebody good with Statistics, probably X-Act, should tyr to make one. I can't, but i think it would be a good idea to take that scale and measure what number you get there vs the Skarm and Bliss Cents...that would give us its true "balanced-ness".

I only say that because LilAnt seems to be right. When I look at Hyra's and especially Aldaron/Mekkah's spread, they seem very defensively oriented.

X-Act is working on it I believe, but it isn't/wasn't ready in time for this CAP.
