NOC Lovers Dance Mafia Game Thread: Game Over, Scum Win!

I’m just going to pause on ladies for a second because I honestly don’t know what to do there.

So, between the gentlemen, either oddish or dusk is scum. While his hammer is a bit suspicious, I think dusk is just slightly more towny than oddish. Oddish has just seemed kinda evasive and idk why if he thought Hal might me scummy he would just sheep him.

Also, I just realized that to get the 4 hammer we would need to get the whole town to agree or get a maf to betray thier partner to try and win in phase 3

Inferno I'm gonna be real when you see a lylo hammer ending with two votes that have no explanation and come within a minute, you can probably started assuming these people are scum hahah

Oddish was the Town Gentleman

JALMONT was the Town Lady

With that, Duskfall98 the Mafia Gentleman and Texas the Mafia Lady have won the game!

Cliff's notes from my end
- set up is busted, insanely town sided, scum in this case had a single line of play with two neighborhoods being mandatory lynches
- apricity's mechanical gamesolve was a lock win for town and pretty much killed my motivation to play this one, you can't argue against a plan that detailed which left my sole option trying to push pressure points of discord against him
- town was far too skeptical of apricity's, he was pretty obvious town
- conversely apricity and viper shot themselves in the foot, they didn't put in any work to engage the rest of the game and get them to buy in. Them they had viper do the "Hal scumclaimed" Gambit to try and get dusk or me to out themselves, which is clever but problematic when we see it and don't bite because then the rest of town just has reason to suspect you
- I completely thought we would have neighborhood redraws and the game completely needs that, that's where the whole strategy with this setup comes from imo

Yeah day 1 we literally had no choice but to lynch hal or we lose, day 2 we had to lynch the double town pair or we lose. There was no real strategy involved tbh on a wider scale, we just had to try outbluff and bring down some fairly intuitive plans. When I hammered on hal d1 I actually said to texas he may have to bus me after to gain town credit. I feel like I was always a clear lynch after that hammer. But a trade me for hal was really worthwhile to me because if hal lived, scum autoloses anyway.

I do think there's an interesting side note, where when you two are paired with town, to lynch either of you a town member must be lynched.

So, assuming that most people rather not get lynched, it means that your two town partners are more likely to help you lynch the town pair today.

i'd explain something to you, but i've spent all game trying to explain to you why the game is a lock town win and you have either not listened or failed to think, so it FEELS like this would be a waste of my time
