*facepalm* Okay, wow. Let's break this down:

X-Box :: Wailord (Hueg liek) - Wailords are VERY LARGE Pokémon. Back when X-Box first released, there were all sorts of jokes floating around the Internet of "HUGE LIKE X-BOX SALE" and whatnot. Wailord + HUGE = X-box.

Cornbread :: Whiscash - This may be a Southern US thing, but you eat catfish with cornbread. Whiscash = catfish Pokémon.

Dummyhead :: Wurmple - A Wurmple named 'Dummyhead'. Simple.

Ramen :: Tangela - Tangela (and Tangrowth) are just a bunch of wiggly vines that (to me) look like a bowl of Ramen Noodles.

Hollywood :: Weezing (smog city) - Hollywood. Has lots of smog. Weezing is a smog-inducing Pokémon.

Mosaic :: Regirock - Tiny rocks are used to make mosaics. Regirock is faceted like a mosaic. I thought it was a pretty name.

R2 :: Registeel - I am a StarWars nerd (among other things) Registeel looks like an R2-unit.

Muffins :: Giratina - BIG GIANT INTIMIDATING GHOST/DRAGON.....named Muffins. It's like the Chihuahua named "Killer". Only backwards.

Titanus :: Dialga - Original Power Rangers Zord name. It was a big brontosaurus. Dialga looks like a big metal brontosaurus. This was my entire reason for buying Diamond.

Z.O.E. :: Deoxsys (what I call it anyway - it's just Deoxsys in game) - Z.O.E. = Zone Of Enders. It's a video game for the Playstation 2 (one of the first released!). SPD Deoxsys looks like the mecha that the main villian-girl gets, so I've mentally named my Deoxsys Z.O.E. after the video game.

I once saw a Dusknoir called "Are you sure you want to cancel your subscription to Spikes Monthly?" That gave me a chuckle as it switched into Blastoise's Rapid Spin.

That gave me a laugh. Obi's Spiritomb makes me laugh as well. I've been thinking of doing some of my own.
