a waffle has the ability to be a pancake with indents if it wants, but its also acceptable as a toast that can also be sweet or salty, Also in my experience crepes are much thinner than pancakes, Therefore I'd say crepes are.... NotVeryCake I had to.
Waffles have a many uses more than the few I listed.

crunchiness of waffles is unmatched and the variety of topings u can put on waffles taste better than the variety you can put on pancakes
