[OVERVIEW]
- Good user of Stealth Rock
- Good typing gives it only one (quad) weakness to Grass.
- Decent overall bulk with 105/75/75
- Excellent ability in Water Absorb makes people thing twice before clicking Scald
- Movepool is limited to Scald, Earth Power, Sludge Bomb, and doesn't have access to Ice Beam
- No recovery makes it easy to wear down
- Good backup check to the likes of Drapion, Rhyperior, Mega Steelix, and Tyrantrum.
- Can switch into Jellicent and Alomomola thanks to Water Absorb, set up Stealth Rock, and potentially using Toxic on them

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
- Stealth Rock is almost mandatory and Seismitoad is an excellent user of it.
- Scald is broken lol. 30% chance of burn and good STAB making it a no-brainer to have on the set
- Earth Power is it's second STAB, and allows it to take on the likes of Drapion and Cobalion
- Toxic is useful to cripple defensive Pokemon like Alomomola, Jellicent, and to catch Pokemon like Tangrowth on the switch.

Set Details
========
- Standard max/max defense, Bold, Leftovers for recovery. Water Absorb best ability

Usage Tips
========
- Seismitoad is simple to use. It should come out early in the game to set up Stealth Rock and possibly spread burns with Scald
- If the opponent has Alomomola or Jellicent, then it's worth it to keep Seismitoad alive to check them and hit them with a Toxic. It's also good to keep if the opponent has Mega Steelix, Drapion, Rhyperior, or Tyrantrum, as it is possible of checking them all with its respective STAB attacks.

Team Options
========
- Fits on any kind of team that needs Stealth Rock support, but functions best on balance teams as a defensive Stealth Rock user that can be relied on to check some specific threats.
- Delphox has good synergy with Seismitoad as it can resist Grass-type attacks and in turn Seismitoad can resist Rock-type attacks and has an immunity against Water-type attacks.

Other Options
=============
- Knock Off
- Offensive SR (SR / scald | hydro pump / earth power / icy wind?)
- Swift Swim sweeper (Rain Dance / Hydro Pump / Earth Power / Sludge Bomb)
- Grass Knot

Checks and Counters
===================

**Grass-types**: By virtue, nearly all Grass-types are counters as they have x4 super effective STAB attacks on Seismitoad. Amoonguss, Tangrowth, Virizion, and Shiftry are all capable of switching into any attack bar a Life Orb-boosted Sludge Bomb (except for Amoonguss as it's neutral against it) and threaten to KO Seismitoad. Rotom-C is also an amazing answer to Seismitoad as it resists Scald and is immune to Earth Power, but is also susceptible to Sludge Bomb.

**Offensive Pressure**: Seeing how Seismitoad has no recovery and no amazing Special Defense, Pokemon like Meloetta, Exploud, and Glalie (Freeze-Dry) can easily take it out, although they have to fear a Scald burn or a Toxic.

Backing Spirit on offensive rocks. I've had the chance to use it myself, and while it may not be the best, it's certainly viable. Icy Wind isn't fully necessary considering it gets Sludge Bomb to donk Grasses and Fairies with. (tho I would like to see Icy Wind mentioned on such a set considering it insta-beats defensive Flygon) I generally used it on teams where I ran bulky offense and needed a Rocks setter immune to Water moves, something Rhyperior, Mega Lix, and Mega Camel (the other bulky offensive Rocks setters) can't do. Grass Knot is fine in OO since it bodies Jellicent, opposing Seismitoad, Alomomola, etc. which is cheeky.
