Swords Dance allows Hisuian Samurott to go far beyond its presumed role of just an entry hazard setter, boosting its attack to obscene levels and letting it pose a wallbreaking threat as well. Aqua Cutter and Razor Shell are the Water-type moves of choice due to their high power after a Sharpness boost; the main benefit from Aqua Cutter is to avoid Static from Zapdos and Rocky Helmet from the likes of Great Tusk and Landorus-T, and an increased accuracy and higher critical hit ratio can also help; on the other hand, the main benefit of Razor Shell is a chance at a Defense drop alongside slightly higher Base Power. Aqua Jet rounds off Hisuian Samurott's moveset by providing ever-so-useful priority to clean up weakened teams with faster threats and either revenge kill or discourage Pokémon like Iron Valiant, Enamorus, and offensive Great Tusk from coming in. Sucker Punch is a much stronger alternative, but it's less reliable due to poor interaction with status moves like Will-O-Wisp, Thunder Wave, and Substitute. Mystic Water can be used boost Hisuian Samurott's damage output on its Water-type moves without the cost of its HP like Life Orb would; Heavy-Duty Boots, on the other hand, helps give Hisuian Samurott more longevity so that it gets more chances to spread hazards and wallbreak. Tera Water serves a similar purpose to Mystic Water, being potentially useful to sweep a team or generally increase the damage of Aqua Jet and Aqua Cutter; on the other hand, Tera Dark significantly boosts Ceaseless Edge and Sucker Punch. Both Tera types can also have defensive impacts, like Tera Water allowing Hisuian Samurott to stomach a hit from Zamazenta or Iron Valiant and Tera Dark doing the same for Zapdos. A Jolly nature alongside full EV investment in Attack and Speed is important to make sure Hisuian Samurott gets the jump on Gholdengo, Hoopa-U, and Heatran while hitting as hard as possible.

Hisuian Samurott is a great fit on bulky offenses and balances that appreciate its entry hazard stacking ability and wallbreaking prowess all condensed in one slot; more well-rounded team styles can afford giving Hisuian Samurott more turns to click Ceaseless Edge or apply raw offensive pressure between Swords Dance and Aqua Cutter. To aid in that, teammates that can help provide momentum are very welcome, such as U-turn users like Cinderace, Dragapult; Volt Switch users like Zapdos; and even Eject Pack users like Close Combat Great Tusk. Pokemon that appreciate their checks getting worn down by Spikes are also fantastic teammates; Dragapult and Gholdengo deserve a mention, as their most common check in Kingambit especially dislikes coming into Spikes if it's not holding an Air Balloon, but almost any wallbreaker strongly appreciates Hisuian Samurott's Spikes and offensive pressure, with examples including Kingambit, offensive Zapdos, and Walking Wake. Hisuian Samurott may have trouble with its work being undone by hazard removers like Great Tusk, Defog Corviknight, and Court Change Cinderace. Gholdengo is a good help with the first two, whereas for the latter, having a team with strong momentum options like the aforementioned U-turn, Volt Switch, and Eject Pack users as well as Pokemon that take advantage of pivot Cinderace like Heatran or Volcanion are welcome.

Pardon the delay! This should be QC-ready! I've come across some other variants of SD Hisuian Samurott (Tera Dark with Sucker Punch and Heavy-Duty Boots) but I'm not sure they're worth slashing in or being in Set Comments so I'll await for QC's input on that. I also did not find a need to explain why Sharpness is used, as during my time in OU QC we used to avoid writing obvious information just for the sake of it, but if that policy's been changed, do let me know!

Swords Dance allows Hisuian Samurott to go far beyond its presumed role of just a hazard setter, with this move it can boost its attack to obscene levels and pose not only a hazard-stacking threat, but also an wallbreaking one. Razor Shell or Aqua Cutter are the Water-type move of choice due to their high power after a Sharpness boost, the former's slight inaccuracy is something to keep in mind, but a chance at a defense drop alongside slightly higher base power makes it preferred, but Aqua Cutter is always an option for extra consistency and its increased critical hit ratio. (aqua cutter also isnt contact so you can click it vs zapdos - thats the biggest draw of it imo) Ceaseless Edge is the whole reason to use Hisuian Samurott thanks to its high power and secondary effect of setting up a layer of Spikes. (idt you really need this sentence because youve already kkinda touched on it in the first sentence + self explanatory stab move) Finally, Aqua Jet rounds off Hisuian Samurott's moveslot by providing ever so useful priority to clean up weakened teams with faster threats like Iron Valiant or offensive Great Tusk, or disincentivise those faster Pokémon from coming in so that something else has to take a hit. (this last part doesn't really make sense to me tbh because a pokemon would rather take an aqua jet instead of being disincentivised to come in and meaning a slower teammate has to take a stronger hit) add sucker here Mystic Water is the item of choice to boost Hisuian Samurott's damage output on its Water-type moves without the cost of its HP as an item like Life Orb would. Tera Water serves a similar purpose, being potentially useful to sweep a team with Aqua Jet and Razor Shell. A Jolly nature alongside full EV investment in Attack and Speed is important to make sure Hisuian Samurott gets the jump on Gholdengo, Hoopa-U, and Heatran while hitting as hard as possible.

Hisuian Samurott is a great fit on Bulky Offenses and Balances that appreciate its hazard stacking ability, and wallbreaking prowess all condensed in one slot, unlike Hyper Offense teams that need hazards quick and fast, (removing cross set referencing without losing any meaning) more well-rounded team styles can afford giving Hisuian Samurott more turns to click Ceaseless Edge or apply raw offensive pressure between Swords Dance and Razor Shell, so teammates that can help provide it momentum are very welcome, such as U-turn users like Cinderace, Dragapult; Volt Switch users like Zapdos; or even Eject Pack users like Close Combat Great Tusk. (i'd also split these sentences up so it's easier to read, it runs on quite a bit) Pokémon that appreciate their checks getting worn down by Spikes are also fantastic teammates, Dragapult and Gholdengo deserve a mention as their most common check in Kingambit especially dislikes coming into Spikes if its not holding an Air Balloon, but almost any breaker that isn't walled by Flying-types like Zapdos, Moltres, and Landorus-T strongly appreciates Hisuian Samurott's spikes and offensive pressure. (i don't really get why you'd give examples of flying-types instead of examples of actual breakers that arne't falled by them - it's a lot more constructive to say "spikes helps chip down x and y breakers" instead of "any breaker thats not walled by flying" because new players don't really know what breakers aren't) Hisuian Samurott does struggle a bit with removal like Great Tusk, Defog Corviknight, and Court Change Cinderace. Gholdengo is a good help with the first two, and having a team that doesn't allow Cinderace free switch-ins helps with the latter. (the cinderace point doesn't really feel very constructive - new players reading this won't know HOW to avoid giving cinderace turns so maybe give examples of what can offensively pressure it)
you've mentioned pult + ghold a lot here, which makes sense bc they pair well, but maybe add some other offensive teammates too that also appreciate samurott breaking through checks

Razor Shell or Aqua Cutter are the Water-type move of choice due to their high power after a Sharpness boost, the former's slight inaccuracy is something to keep in mind, but a chance at a defense drop alongside slightly higher base power makes it preferred, but Aqua Cutter is always an option Reword this to show Aqua Cutter is prefered for avoiding triggering Static from Zapdos, higher accuracy, and its increased critical hit ratio Also avoids rocky helmet from tusk/lando. Finally, Aqua Jet rounds off Hisuian Samurott's moveslot by providing ever so useful priority to clean up weakened teams with faster threats like Iron Valiant or offensive Great Tusk, or disincentivize weakened faster Pokémon from coming in so that something else has to take a hit. Sucker Punch is a much stronger alternative, but less reliable due to poor interaction with status moves like Will-o-Wisp, Thunder Wave, and Substitute Also cant rk weakened val/enam/offensive tusk. Mystic Water can be used boost Hisuian Samurott's damage output on its Water-type moves without the cost of its HP as an item like Life Orb would, Heavy-Duty Boots and Leftovers, on the other hand, help give Hisuian Samurott more longevity so that it can more chances to spread hazards and wallbreak, between the two the former is preferred on teams with more precarious hazard removal, whereas teams with a solid hazard removal backbone might appreciate the latter more. Remove lefties mentions Tera Water serves a similar purpose to Mystic Water, being potentially useful to sweep a team with or generally increase the damage of Aqua Jet and Razor Shell Aqua Cutter. Add Tera Dark, also very briefly mention the defensive use of the teras (tera water lives a hit from val/zama, tera dark lives a hit from zap) A Jolly nature alongside full EV investment in Attack and Speed is important to make sure Hisuian Samurott gets the jump on Gholdengo, Hoopa-U, and Heatran while hitting as hard as possible.

Specs Wake is mostly on sun which usually wont run sam Hisuian Samurott does struggle a bit with removal like Great Tusk, Defog Corviknight, and Court Change Cinderace. This kind of implies it struggles to beat these mons which isnt really true, reword it to say these teams appreciate a way to prevent hazards being removed Gholdengo is a good help with the first two, whereas for the latter, having a team with strong momentum options like the aforementioned U-turn, Volt Switch, and Eject Pack users as well as Pokemon that take advantage of Pivot Cinderace, like Heatran or Thermal Exchange Baxcalibur Bax takes too much even from uninvested pyro ball to take advantage of ace. Maybe mention volcanion instead are welcome.
