[OVERVIEW]
Oricorio-E's good defensive typing and decent bulk allow it to check a plethora of offensive Pokemon such as Primeape, Gurdurr, Oricorio-G, Shiftry, and Hitmonchan as well as to wall Pokemon like Gastrodon, Ferroseed, Pyukumuku, and Togetic due to their passive nature. Oricorio-E's good Speed tier allows it to also check some primary threats such as Skuntank and Throh. Thanks to Oricorio-E's access to Taunt and Toxic, it's a decent stallbreaker that can annoy most defensive Pokemon. However, despite its decent defensive typing and stats, Oricorio-E can still get overwhelmed by Pokemon that it's supposed to check like Choice Band Primeape and Hitmonchan. Its Stealth Rock weakness means it can also get worn down quickly, though Roost mitigates that problem somewhat. Oricorio-E sees a lot of competition from Pokemon like Sableye and Alolan Persian because they both have access to Taunt and can annoy stall teams; the former also has access to Prankster while the latter has access to Parting Shot, providing more overall utility for teams. It also sees indirect competition from Oricorio-G, since only one of the two can be used on a team.

Moves
========
Revelation Dance is Oricorio-E's STAB move and hits Water- and Flying-type Pokemon for super effective damage. Toxic is able to wear down passive Pokemon like Palossand, Miltank, and Gastrodon and is also useful for crippling Fighting-types like Primeape and Hitmonchan and Pokemon that are immune to Revelation Dance like Lanturn. Taunt prevents foes such as Palossand and Type: Null from recovering and denies entry hazards from users like Ferroseed and Weezing. Roost gives Oricorio-E reliable recovery, which keeps it healthy and enables it to beat stall teams.
Set Details
========
The HP investment makes Oricorio-E as bulky as possible. Maximum Speed investment allows Oricorio-E to outspeed Lilligant and Skuntank as well as Speed tie with Oricorio-G. Leftovers gives Oricorio-E passive recovery, which makes it harder to wear down in conjunction with Roost. A spread consisting of 252 HP / 224 Def / 32 Spe with a Timid nature allows Oricorio-E to check a lot more physical attackers reliably; it can be used with Rocky Helmet to chip down Fighting-types that this set checks with a lot more ease. Dancer is Oricorio-E's only ability, but it can come in handy against Pokemon that like to use dancing moves such as Lilligant and other Oricorio formes. Rocky Helmet can be used to wear down Pokemon such as Primeape, Kangaskhan, Gurdurr, and Hitmonchan.
Usage Tips
========
Try to get Oricorio-E in on passive Pokemon it has an easy time beating such as Ferroseed. It is also able to beat Lanturn by using Toxic as it switches in and using Taunt to prevent Heal Bell; you should scout to make sure that the Lanturn isn't using Choice Specs, however. Oricorio-E should use Roost often to stay healthy and use Taunt on Pokemon that are known to carry status-inducing moves before using Roost. Try to use Revelation Dance as little as possible, only whenever it's important to wear down the foe with immediate damage rather than passive damage,; some of the Pokemon this applies to are Steel-types, Carracosta, and Oricorio-G. Scout against Pokemon that Oricorio-E is supposed to check but can overwhelm it like Lanturn and Hitmonchan, which can use Choice Specs and heavy Attack investment, respectively.
Team Options
========
Oricorio-E can annoy troublesome Pokemon for Magmortar, Pyroar, and Togedemaru such as Gastrodon and Lanturn and switches into Ground-type moves. However, it does not want to switch in on Gastrodon's and Lanturn's Toxic, so it should be brought in via a double switch. In return, Magmortar, Pyroar, and Togedemaru handle Oricorio-E checks such as Jynx and Abomasnow. Water-types such as Floatzel and Lanturn appreciate Oricorio-E's ability to break down bulky Water-types and wall Grass-types such as Ferroseed and Lanturn; in return, they can pressure Rock-types, which Oricorio-E tends to struggle against. Pokemon like Kangaskhan, Alolan Raticate, and Pyroar appreciate a Fighting-type check in Oricorio-E. Entry hazard stackers such as Ferroseed help Oricorio-E in wearing down the opposing team and thus making it easier to break stall. Pokemon such as Ferroseed and Togedemaru are able to check Ice- and Rock-type Pokemon like Abomasnow, Jynx, Regirock, and Lycanroc for Oricorio-E. Hazard removers such as Hitmonchan and Skuntank help Oricorio-E because it has a hard time switching into Fighting-types when Stealth Rock is on the field.

Other Options
=============
Oricorio-E can make use of Defog, but it struggles to find a moveslot for it, becomes a lot more passive with it, and has a lot of competition from Rotom-S. A Choice Scarf set consisting of U-turn, Revelation Dance, Hidden Power Grass, and Hurricane can make Oricorio-E a fast pivot, but it has a lot of common answers, gets worn down quickly, and faces competition from Oricorio-G and Togedemaru. An offensive set utilizing Calm Mind and Flyinium Z can be used because Oricorio-E can easily set up on a lot of Pokemon due to its typing, but it too faces a lot of competition from Oricorio-G and other specially offensive setup sweepers alike. Hurricane can be used on the standard set to beat Grass-type Pokemon more easily, but it doesn't have the moveslot to fit this move in. Safety Goggles can be used to check Lilligant reliably.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Ice-types**: Ice-types such as Jynx and Abomasnow can OHKO Oricorio-E with their STAB moves, and Jynx can also set up on it with Nasty Plot, but Abomasnow has to be wary of offensive Calm Mind sets that utilize Flyinium Z and Hurricane.
**Rock-types**: Regirock and Aggron take practically nothing from Revelation Dance and can OHKO Oricorio-E with their STAB moves; however, bar Aggron, they have to be wary of Toxic. Golem is immune to Revelation Dance and can easily threaten Oricorio-E with an OHKO.
**Strong Attackers**: Oricorio-E lacks the defensive stats to take on a lot of the stronger offensive Pokemon in the PU metagame like Kangaskhan, Alolan Raticate, Alolan Exeggutor, and Drampa; they're all capable of inflicting a massive amount of damage on Oricorio-E and potentially even OHKOing it. Choice Specs Lanturn is especially notable because Oricorio-E checks other variants, meaning that Lanturn can lure and 2HKO it.
**Togedemaru**: Togedemaru is immune to Toxic and Revelation Dance, can use Toxic on Oricorio-E in return, and pivots out of Oricorio with U-turn, but it does have to be wary of Rocky Helmet chipping it down.
