Metagross @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 120 SpD / 136 Spe
Careful Nature
- Cosmic Power
- Meteor Mash
- Body Press
- Rest

Cosmic Power Metagross has recently risen to stardom as one of the RU tier's most brutal setup sweepers. Metagross will shrug off almost any attack thrown at it after a boost or two and hit just as hard in return with Body Press. And if that's not enough stat buffs for you, there's Meteor Mash to pack an extra punch and plow through Fighting-resistant Pokemon such as Reuniclus, Crobat, and Togekiss. To top it off, Rest ensures that Metagross is as unkillable as possible. For team options, Umbreon perfectly complements Cosmic Power Metagross, as it counters one of the better answers to this set in Chandelure, can wake Metagross up in case it's forced out after using Rest, and can provide Wish support to keep Metagross healthy without relying on Rest. In return, Metagross covers Calm Mind Reuniclus. 136 Speed EVs are used to outspeed Adamant Golurk, while the remaining EVs are invested in special bulk to better handle Calm Mind Reuniclus.

Here's a replay from week 2 of SCL showcasing just why this set is commonly referred to as a demon: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen8ru-580357

Cosmic Power Metagross has recently risen to stardom as one of the RU tier's most brutal setup sweepers. Metagross will shrug off almost any attack throw (thrown) at it after a boost or two and hit just as hard in return with Body Press. And if that's not enough stat buffs for you, there's Meteor Mash to pack an extra punch and plow through Fighting-resistant Pokemon such as Reuniclus, Crobat, and Togekiss. To top it off, Rest ensures that Metagross is as unkillable (demonic?) as possible. For team options, Umbreon perfectly complements Cosmic Power Metagross, as it counters Chandelure which is one of the better answers to Cosmic Power Metagross, it can wake Metagross up in case it's forced out after using Rest, and Umbreon can provide Wish support to keep Metagross healthy without relying on Rest.
