Pet Mod Masquerade

:sv/granbull:
Pokemon: Granbull
Stats: 110 (+20) / 120 / 90 (+15) / 60 / 90 (+30) / 45
Type:

Abilities: Pixilate / Quick Feet | Rattled
Type-changing Move: Spirit Break
Movepool Changes:
:plusle: Heal Bell, Spirit Break
:minun: Bulk Up
Description: Bulky cleric with respectable offensive presence, modeled after the likes of GSC UU Granbull and SS Ubers Xerneas. Currently, mons that lack instant recovery and use masks like the Guzzlord formes don't have any good way of keeping themselves healthy; they can't fall back on Leftovers or Boots, and Grassy Surge just doesn't provide enough recovery. With Granbull around, Rest becomes a serviceable option for such mons on slower paced teams. If it's running RestTalk, Granbull itself can be woken up early if it calls Heal Bell with Sleep Talk. If one can eliminate foes like Chesnaught-Armoured and Guzzlord from the opposing team, Curse sets can also put in work.

Mask Name: Guardian Mask
New Type:

New Ability: Natural Cure
Ability when Tera'd: Regenerator
Description: Whereas the base forme has a greater presence on the field with access to Leftovers, a spammable STAB option, and few weaknesses, this forme is better optimized as a pivot thanks to its new Stealth Rock resistance and Natural Cure's synergy with Rest.

Mask Name: Warden Mask
New Type:

New Ability: Prankster
Ability when Tera'd: Chlorophyll
Description: Has several tools that, paired with Prankster, are fantastic for offensive teams, including Healing Wish, Thunder Wave, and Encore. Outside of that, it can click Play Rough and Temper Flare to decent effect, the latter punishing attempts at blocking its status moves. Chlorophyll might be able to do something with sun support from Sinistcha-Scalding.

Mask Name: Moonlight Mask
New Type: Psychic / Fairy
New Ability: Magic Guard
Ability when Tera'd: Psychic Surge
Description: Magic Guard Pokémon akin to Alakazam and Clefable, but have to contend with a less effective defensive type. Psychic Terrain setter once Terastalized, which has Super STAB Expanding Force to go along with.

New Type: Ghost / Fairy
New Ability: Mold Breaker
Ability when Tera'd: Misty Surge
Description: Enable Wigglytuff to hit target while ignoring most of the defensive Abilities, or Terastalize to become a Misty Terrain Setter to prevent status ailments.

Bug/Normal is one of the worse type combinations you could ever imagine and I only did so that I'd be allowed to make Techno Blast the type changing move for the masks, but on the bright side STAB Techno Blast with a potential +1 boost is gonna hit extremely hard even with its nerfed SpA, plus you still have ridiculous amounts of coverage to help you. Agility, Flame Charge, Toxic Spikes
Description: We've currently only have Sinistcha-Corrosive as a special attacking Poison-type, and Iron Moth is a very solid one to add after the nerfs given, with the biggest SpAtk out of all Pokemon on the format, and can boost it even further with some luck from Fiery Dance, balanced out by low speed and the removal of all speed-boosting moves and Quark Drive, as well as its weakness to Ground, and due to Emboar-Storm it is almost mandatory to run a Pokemon that knows a Ground-type offensive move.

Mask Name: Hearthflame Mask
New Type: Grass/Fire
New Ability:
Mold Breaker
Ability when Tera'd: Sheer Force
Description: With no way to boost up due to the removal of Trailblaze and SD, as well as the removal of the 1.2 damage boost, Hearthflame becomes way weaker, when tera'd, it doesnt get the atk boost, but still gets a decent damage boost with Sheer Force.

After the poll on our discord server, we are going to do our next roomtour at Saturday 7:00PM EST (GMT -5), see you then!

We've also currently got only one submission for the Ogerpon rework, so we would appreciate some more!

Due to Tanny joining late and the person who played on our first roomtour having to log off, we had to do two roomtours, these usage stats are from both combined, so i also combined both tournaments for the leaderboard...

So uhh I tied the first roomtour with Yoshiblaze and then I won the second one.

1. Gaboswampert
2. Yoshiblaze
3. Tanny89k
4. borten

After this tournament, we can very easily say that Emboar-Storm is just plain broken and i have no clue how did we not realize that last roomtour, if you give it a single free turn its over, if you give it two you better start writing an apology letter to your opponent while you forfeit on why you didnt forfeit on the first turn you gave to Emboar-Storm, on the last game of the second roomtour against Yoshiblaze, I had only a chipped Corviknight and Emboar-Storm, and Yoshiblaze had 4 mons and all were at full health, i swapped Emboar-Storm into its CB Solgaleo, he switched onto Kleavor-Arrowedge while i used Flare Blitz, and it burnt, i set up a Bulk Up and from then i proceed to win the game, Emboar-Storm is too easy of a wincon to set up, just needing to switch into a badly positioned Pokemon to set up a Bulk Up while Speed Boost boosts its Spd, and then nothing switches into it, because of this reason, we have decided to remove Bulk Up from its movepool , this still keeps its role of a fast sweeper, while being way more manageable as it cannot boost its Atk anymore, making our physwalls be able to take it on way more easily, and while this hurts the other Emboar, these dont really use Bulk Up as the tools they have are better used for being a wallbreaker.

Other things to note were that Corviknight recieved the most usage, and since its one of our premiere defensive Pokemon and hazard removers we can see why, and surprisingly, Pokemon like Druddigon-Sharpshot, the Kleavor's, Drapion and the Drifblim's which were some of our best Pokemon on our last roomtour recieved little to no usage, and some notable new Pokemon that recieved high usage were both normal and graveyard Gigalith, Guzzlord-Blackhole, both normal and jungletrimmer Excadrill, both scalding and corrosive Sinistcha, and both normal and sunflower Solgaleo!

Right now the meta may be too offensively-focused, with newly added offensive threats like Excadrill or Solgaleo, as well as amazing pivots in Corviknight and Gigalith shaping the metagame onto being like it currently is, aside from the Emboar nerf, we arent planning on buffing or nerfing any other Pokemon, but if yall have any opinions on what balance changes could we do on the future, yall can discuss that on our discord!

Also i am still the only person who has submitted an Ogerpon rework, so we would appreciate more!
