[SET COMMENTS]

Galvantula's STAB combination paired with Energy Ball and its respectable Speed tier makes it a difficult threat to deal with; however, it struggles to compete with Heliolisk as an offensive Electric-types as Heliolisk boasts greater Special Attack, Speed which allows it to check Cobalion, coverage options, and defensive utility thanks to its ability Dry Skin making it a much more reliable check to Water-types like Milotic and Rotom-W. Furthermore, its poor bulk and weakness to Stealth Rock means Galvantula finds it hard to find a situation where it can switch in to fire off an attack or potentially set up its Sticky Web. Thunder is preferred over Thunderbolt since Compound Eyes increases its accuracy and improves its otherwise lackluster damage output, and the paralysis chance prevents Pokemon like Noivern and Sylveon from coming in to check it reliably. Energy Ball is a great coverage option that allows Galvantula to hit the likes of Rhyperior, Gigalith, and Rotom-W. Volt Switch allows Galvantula to pivot into its teammates to handle its checks such as Bronzong and Gigalith, but Sticky Web allows Galvantula to support its team and slow down Choice Scarf users like Darmanitan and Chandelure, which would otherwise be able to revenge kill Galvantula. However, Sticky Web is an unreliable play style, mainly due to the prominence of Heavy-Duty Boots users like Chandelure and Darmanitan and the relative difficulty of preventing Defoggers like Noivern and Rotom-Wash from reliably removing them. It is also outclassed by both Ribombee and Araquanid as a Sticky Web setter, due to the former’s better Speed tier, and the latter’s better bulk. A Life Orb is the preferred item so that Galvantula can have greater damage output. Heavy-Duty Boots can also be used to remove Galvantula's crippling weakness to Stealth Rock; however, it comes at the cost of the much-needed power behind its moves to 2HKO Escavalier.

Strong wallbreakers like Darmanitan, Pangoro, and Machamp appreciate Galvantula bringing them in through Volt Switch against foes like Roserade, Bronzong, and Gigalith. In return, they can handle Pokemon that wall this set like Gigalith, Copperajah, and Sylveon. Hazard removal from the likes of Blastoise, Tsareena, and Noivern can help remove hazards for Galvantula if it isn’t running Heavy-Duty Boots. Noivern also has the added benefit of bringing Galvantula in to check bulky Water-types like Mantine and Milotic. Additional checks to Water-types are appreciated since Galvantula lacks the bulk it needs to consistently pivot into them, so Pokemon like Roserade and Tsareena are appreciated by Galvantula. Both of them are able to beat Gigalith, while Roserade has the added benefit of checking Sylveon, being able to set up Spikes to wear down Galvantula's switch ins, and crippling shared checks like Bronzong and Noivern through Sleep Powder. Checks to Fire-types like Choice Scarf Chandelure and Darmanitan are necessary, so Rhyperior, Incineroar, and Gigalith are appreciated by Galvantula. Rhyperior and Gigalith can come in and force out or beat both Toxtricity, one of the few Pokemon that resist both Galvantula’s STAB moves and its coverage, and Noivern, which can easily revenge kill it, while Swords Dance Incineroar can help break down Gigalith, and it can also pivot into Galvantula to handle bulky Water-types. When running Sticky Web, strong setup sweepers like Lucario, Cobalion, Chandelure, Swords Dance Incineroar, and Doublade appreciate Galvantula weakening foes and potential Sticky Web support so that they can clean more easily. The aforementioned Chandelure, along with other Ghost-types like Doublade, can spinblock for Galvantula so that its Sticky Web will not be removed.

Galvantula is a rather poor choice in the tier due to it being outclassed by Ribombee as a Sticky Web setter in any playstyle.Fluff Furthermore, its poor bulk and weakness to Stealth Rock means Galvantula finds it hard to find a situation where it can set up its Sticky Web. Sticky Web allows Galvantula to support its team and slow down Choice Scarf users like Darmanitan and Chandelure, which would otherwise be able to revenge kill Galvantula. Fluff Thunder is Galvantula’s main STAB and is now spammable thanks to Compund Eyes making Thunder near-accurate. Thunder Is used over thunderbolt because Thunder's accuracy is increased due to compound eyes, and boosts its otherwise pathetic damage output. Finally, Energy Ball is a great coverage option that allows Galvantula to hit the likes of Rhyperior, Gigalith, and Rotom-W, but Volt Switch allows Galvantula to gain offensive momentum for its team. Don't state what the moves do, explain what they do for galvantula A Life Orb is the preferred item so that Galvantula can have greater damage output, but Heavy-Duty Boots can be used so that Galvantula can switch-in more safely. Not in the set???

Strong setup sweepers like Lucario, Cobalion, Escavalier, and Chandelure appreciate Sticky Web so that they can clean more easily. Lucario is the only setup sweeper that was mentioned there, and even still it doesnt need webs, it has extreme speed, this first bit needs to be redone. The latter, along with other Start new sentence here Ghost-types like Doublade,More examples can spinblock for Galvantula so that its Sticky Web will not be removed. Dont know the exact grammar here, just know thats wrong, even on a fundamental level. Since Espeon can always come in and bounce back Sticky Web Strictly not true, espeon has to worry about bug buzz. A mention about defiant mons (if any are viable), or mons that stop common defogers, would be better here , checks to it like Incineroar and Umbreon are appreciated.I might not be the best UU player, but even I know that there is no senario where you want galvantula on the same team as umbreon. Incineroar is actually a good partner tho. Knock Off support from the likes of the aforementioned Incineroar, as well as from Necrozma, are appreciated to remove Heavy-Duty Boots from Chandelure, More examples which would otherwise deter Sticky Web. Again grammar. Finally, checks to Fire-types like Rhyperior, Rotom-W, and Haxorus are appreciated by Galvantula. Replace this with something mentioning rapid-spinners so that galvantula's team can remove hazards without loosing webs.

TL;DR this needs to be completely redone.

Change the set to this. Galv isn't a great webs user as its completely outclassed by Bee and Araq. It's best niche is just having coverage and the ability to pivot.

[SET COMMENTS]

Galvantula's STAB combination paired with Energy Ball and its respectable Speed tier makes it a difficult threat to deal with; however, it struggles to compete with Heliolisk as an offensive Electric-types as Heliolisk boasts greater Special Attack, Speed, coverage options, and defensive utility thanks to its ability Dry Skin. (You should be comparing this Pokemon to Helio more so than other Web users.) is a rather poor choice in the tier due to it being It is also outclassed by both Ribombee and Araquanid Aas a Sticky Web setter, due to the former’s better Speed tier, and the latter’s better bulk. Furthermore, its poor bulk and weakness to Stealth Rock means Galvantula finds it hard to find a situation where it can switch in to fire off an attack or potentially set up its Sticky Web. Sticky Web allows Galvantula to support its team and slow down Choice Scarf users like Darmanitan and Chandelure, which would otherwise be able to revenge kill Galvantula. Move and change this to be described as an alternate option over Volt Switch. It should come directly after talking about Volt Thunder is preferred over Thunderbolt since Compound Eyes increases its accuracy and improves its otherwise pathetic lackluster (Pathetic is a bit harsh) damage output. Energy Ball is a great coverage option that allows Galvantula to hit the likes of Rhyperior, Gigalith, and Rotom-W, but Volt Switch allows Galvantula to pivot into its teammates to handle its checks. Give Volt Switch its own mention. A Life Orb is the preferred item so that Galvantula can have greater damage output. Heavy-Duty Boots can also be used so that Galvantula can switch-in more safely. to remove Galvantula's crippling weakness to Stealth Rock; however, it comes at the cost of the much-needed power behind its moves to... (Insert examples of OHKO's or things it can revenge easier that it otherwise misses out on without a LO.)

Strong setup sweepers like Lucario, Cobalion, Chandelure, and Polteageist appreciate Sticky Web so that they can clean more easily. The latter two, along with other Ghost-types like Doublade, can spinblock for Galvantula so that its Sticky Web will not be removed. Knock Off support from the likes of Incineroar, Sirfetch’d and Necrozma, are appreciated to remove Heavy-Duty Boots from Chandelure, which would otherwise deter Sticky Web. This isn't necessary to have a line on. While boots Chandy is immune to webs it doesn't deter you from setting them. Also with most of these examples they simply OHKO Chandelure so removing its Boots is no longer an important factor. Since Magic Bounce users like Espeon can come in and bounce back Sticky Web, checks to it like Incineroar and Noivern are appreciated. This line isn't relevant enough, Espeon doesn't switch in well at all without risking a Bug Buzz and Xatu is the same when it comes to taking a Thunder. Checks to Fire-types like Rhyperior, Rotom-W, and Haxorus are appreciated by Galvantula. Give examples of some of these Fire-types that can give it issues like Scarf Chandy and Scarf Darm. I would also mention how Rhyperior can check Noivern for Galv, a Mon capable of easily revenge killing it. Also mention how Rhyp can check Toxtricity, one of the few Pokemon that resists all of Galv's coverage. Haxorus can also threaten common Defoggers like Rotom-W and Galarian Weezing thanks to Mold Breaker and Earthquake. Finally, Rapid Spinners like Tsareena and Blastoise can remove hazards for Galvantula so that it can come in safely if it isn't utilizing Heavy-Duty Boots.

So this section needs some rework to accommodate the set change because this is mostly about webs:

Change the line about setup sweepers to be more generic in how they appreciate Galv weakening X Pokemon as well as potential Sticky Web support.

Add a line on wallbreakers that appreciate it being brought in safely via Volt Switch. Make sure these breakers can deal with stuff like Sylveon and Gigalith. SD Incineroar and Machamp are examples that come to mind that can also appreciate potential Webs support

Finally, mention some Pokemon that can help with pivoting into and beating Water-types as Galv lacks the bulk to even come in against Milotic twice.

Heavy-Duty Boots can also be used to remove Galvantula's crippling weakness to Stealth Rock; however, it comes at the cost of the much-needed power behind its moves to guarantee OHKOs on Golisopod. Change this example because you don't beat Goli reliably when it just clicks First Impression and kills you after rocks. Use other examples like you fail to 2HKO Escavalier after SR or you fail to reliably revenge kill Lucario after SR.

Strong setup sweepers like Lucario, Cobalion, Chandelure, and Polteageist appreciate Galvantula weakening foes and potential Sticky Web support so that they can clean more easily. Strong wallbreakers like Darmanitan, Sirfetch’d Use Pangoro instead, and Machamp appreciate Galvantula bringing them in through Volt Switch against foes like... [SET COMMENTS]

Galvantula's STAB combination paired with Energy Ball and its respectable Speed tier makes it a difficult threat to deal with; however, it struggles to compete with Heliolisk as an offensive Electric-types as Heliolisk boasts greater Special Attack, Speed, you should talk specifically about what this difference in speed allows Heliolisk to do that Galvantula struggles with; offensively checking Cobalion coverage options, and defensive utility thanks to its ability Dry Skin making it a much more reliable check to Water-types like Milotic and Rotom-W. It is also outclassed by both Ribombee and Araquanid as a Sticky Web setter, due to the former’s better Speed tier, and the latter’s better bulk. Move this down a bit to here (*) Furthermore, its poor bulk and weakness to Stealth Rock means Galvantula finds it hard to find a situation where it can switch in to fire off an attack or potentially set up its Sticky Web. Thunder is preferred over Thunderbolt since Compound Eyes increases its accuracy and improves its otherwise lackluster damage output. not just that but also its Paralysis chance prevents stuff like Noivern switching in to check it. You should put a little more focus on this in general because being able to use Thunder is part of what makes it more annoying to deal with defensively than Heliolisk. Energy Ball is a great coverage option that allows Galvantula to hit the likes of Rhyperior, Gigalith, and Rotom-W. Volt Switch allows Galvantula to pivot into its teammates to handle its checks such as?, but Sticky Web allows Galvantula to support its team and slow down Choice Scarf users like Darmanitan and Chandelure, which would otherwise be able to revenge kill Galvantula. Make a comment on how Sticky Webs are however an unreliable playstyle in general, finding issues in both boots, and the comminality of Fog users like Noivern/Rotom-Wash that such teams struggle to reliably prevent removing them. Then make the comment you made above (*) about being outclassed as a Webs user. A Life Orb is the preferred item so that Galvantula can have greater damage output. Heavy-Duty Boots can also be used to remove Galvantula's crippling weakness to Stealth Rock; however, it comes at the cost of the much-needed power behind its moves to 2HKO Escavalier and revenge kill Lucario after Stealth Rock damage. Lucario isn't a great example of something you revenge kill since you struggle a lot with espeed, which OHKOs you if its SD. Either change this example or be more specific.

Strong setup sweepers like Lucario, Cobalion, Chandelure, and Polteageist appreciate Galvantula weakening foes and potential Sticky Web support so that they can clean more easily. The aforementioned Chandelure and Polteageist, along with other Ghost-types like Doublade, can spinblock for Galvantula this is concerning that you suggest Polteageist can spinblock so that its Sticky Web will not be removed. There is far too much focus on Sticky Webs at the beginning of team options for a Pokemon that shouldn't really even be running it. Move any mention of Webs stuff later. Strong wallbreakers like Darmanitan, Pangoro, and Machamp appreciate Galvantula bringing them in through Volt Switch against foes like Roserade, Bronzong, and Gigalith. Make this the first point. In return, they can handle Pokemon that wall this set like Gigalith, Copperajah, and Sylveon. Checks to Fire-types like Choice Scarf Chandelure and Darmanitan are necessary, so Rhyperior, Rotom-W, and Haxorus are appreciated by Galvantula. Haxorus can also threaten common Defoggers like Rotom-W and Galarian Weezing thanks to Mold Breaker and Earthquake, while Rhyperior can come in and force out or beat both Toxtricity, one of the few Pokemon that resist both Galvantula’s STAB moves and its coverage, and Noivern, which can easily revenge kill it. Haxorus is absolutely not a good check to either of these, and Rotom-W is a fairly unreliable switch-in to both, not requiring much to be 2hkoed by scarf darm, and being 2hkoed by shadow ball from chandy. You should instead add Gigalith and Incineroar to this list, talk about Gigalith also dealing with Noivern for you, and then talk about how SD Incineroar is a fantastic option that can help break down Gigalith, and pivot Galvantula in on bulky Water-types. Rapid Spinners like Tsareena and Blastoise can remove hazards for Galvantula so that it can come in safely if it isn't utilizing Heavy-Duty Boots. Idk why Noivern hasn't been mentioned for removal, but talk about Noivern as an option for a fogger with it, and also a great pivot that can bring it in on bulky waters / rhyp. Finally, checks to Water-types are necessary since Galvantula lacks the bulk it needs to consistently pivot into them, so Pokemon like Roserade and Tsareena are appreciated by Galvantula. Both of them are able to beat Gigalith, while Roserade has the added benefit of checking Sylveon. You should talk about Rose being able to set spikes to further pressure Galvantula's switch ins, and being able to sleep powder shared checks like Noivern.

This whole team options section needs a total restructure, there is far too much focus on Sticky Webs at the beginning when its only a backslash and not a great option on Galvantula, and stuff is all generally in a bizarre order. Reorder it to something along the lines of below, which will get a far better structure to this.

  • Wallbreakers that appreciate it's pivot support
  • Hazard removal to help deal with its rocks weakness and allow it to more effectively pivot
  • Pokemon that can help deal with Water-types
  • Checks to Fire-types and Noivern
  • Webs stuff

This still needs a lot of work so not stamping this yet. In particular please pay attention to the bit at the end about restructuring the team options, as the current order is a mess and focuses far too much on Sticky Webs when Volt Switch is the main slash and much better option on this set.

Tag me when you have implemented this and I will take another look.

Just replace the Polteageist mention with Doublade in general in this webs section, as its also a strong set up sweeper that appreciates stuff like Pangoro/Incineroar being slowed by Webs, and Galvantula weakening Bulky water-types, while tea doesnt really benefit from webs at all.

When running Sticky Web, strong setup sweepers like Lucario, Cobalion, Chandelure, Swords Dance Incineroar, and Doublade Polteageist appreciate Galvantula weakening foes and potential Sticky Web support so that they can clean more easily. The aforementioned Chandelure, along with other Ghost-types like Doublade, can spinblock for Galvantula so that its Sticky Web will not be removed.
