This sinister Pokemon has roamed all the way from Galar into OU, covering the tier in its dark flames. Galarian Moltres is a deadly sweeper that becomes difficult to stop after using Nasty Plot and Agility, as it hits hard and outspeeds the entire metagame. Fiery Wrath and Hurricane give it great coverage, hitting most of the metagame except Tapu Koko and Tyranitar, which struggle to check it well, for at least neutral damage. Weakness Policy synergizes with screens support and allows Galarian Moltres to simultaneously set up with Agility, while Heavy-Duty Boots lets it switch in more often. The given Speed investment lets Galarian Moltres be faster than Choice Scarf Kartana after an Agility. Alolan Ninetales and Tapu Koko can set up dual screens for Galarian Moltres, aiding its ability to set up and sweep more easily. Other setup sweepers like Kartana and Zeroara are also great partners, as they can pressure Corviknight and Unaware Clefable for Galarian Moltres. Galarian Moltres's ability to dent Steel-types like Heatran and Ferrothorn is beneficial for other sweepers like Volcarona and Dragapult.
