[SET COMMENTS]

Dragalge has a solid niche in RU as a bulky pivot with access to Toxic Spikes and a good offensive presence that checks common threats such as Raikou, Xurkitree, and Roserade. Unfortunately, it has no reliable recovery, mediocre physical bulk, and a typing leaving it weak to common threats such as Zygarde-10%, Metagross, and Noivern. Flip Turn allows Dragalge to pivot out on its typical switch-ins such as Registeel and Klefki, gain momentum, and bring teammates safely onto the battlefield. Toxic Spikes helps to wear down bulky Pokemon such as Milotic, Assault Vest Reuniclus, and Porygon2 for teammates. Scald can be used instead, however, to hit Steelix and Stakataka super effectively and have a good chance to punish switch-ins such as Registeel and Metagross with a burn. However, in most cases Dragalge will use Flip Turn against switch-ins rather than Scald. Protect alongside Black Sludge is an option to gain free turns of recovery and scout moves from Choice item users, although it makes Dragalge slightly more passive. 132 Speed EVs let Dragalge outspeed uninvested Sylveon, Galarian Weezing, and slow Incinceroar variants, while 252 HP EVs enable it to better check special attackers such as Raikou, Xurkitree, and Chandelure. The remaining EVs alongside a Modest nature give Dragalge a better offensive presence. Heavy-Duty Boots prevents entry hazard damage to make Dragalge a more reliable pivot. However, Black Sludge can be used instead for extra passive recovery, even without Protect.

Since Dragalge baits bulky Steel-types such as Registeel, Klefki, and Metagross onto the battlefield and pivots out on them with Flip Turn, Pokemon that take advantage of said Steel-types such as Heracross, Chandelure, and Zygarde-10% are great teammates. Volt Switch and U-turn users such as Zarude, Mienshao, and Cobalion form a good VoltTurn core with Dragalge and also bait Fairy- and Fire-types such as Togekiss, Galarian Weezing, Incineroar, and Chandelure onto the battlefield, of which Dragalge takes advantage. Bulky Steel-types like Steelix and Metagross are good teammates to take on Dragon-, Psychic-, and Ice-types like Noivern, Indeedee, and Cloyster. Zarude, Golisopod, and Celebi check troublesome Ground-types like Zygarde-10% and Rhyperior. Golisopod and Celebi also form a good hazard stacking core with Dragalge. Pokemon such as Nasty Plot Thundurus, Calm Mind Reuniclus, and Suicune benefit from Dragalge's Toxic Spikes wearing down their typical checks and counters. An entry hazard remover like Noivern, Togekiss, or Starmie is helpful if Dragalge is not running Heavy-Duty Boots, since entry hazards limit its pivoting. Sylveon and Umbreon provide Wish support, increasing Dragalge's longevity.

Dragalge has a solid niche in RU as a bulky pivot, with a good offensive presence that can checks common threats such as Raikou, Xurkitree, and Roserade (Roserade isnt a threat, either remove it or find another example). Unfortunately, it has no reliable recovery, a mediocre physical bulk,(imo this should go in the team mates paragraph, ask the ru discord if it should belong here or not) and its typing leaves it weak to common threats such as Zygarde-10% and Metagross, and Noivern( 252 SpA Noivern Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Dragalge: 290-344 (86.8 - 101.1%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO i doubt i would call Noivern a "threat", also it has a very low chance to ohko.) . Flip Turn allows Dragalge to gain momentum and bring teammates safely onto the battlefield. Toxic Spikes helps to wear down bulky Pokemon such as Milotic, Assault Vest Reuniclus, or and Porygon2. Focus Blast, on the other hand, enables Dragalge to hit Steel-types such as Registeel, Steelix, and Stakataka super effectively, which would otherwise wall Dragalge completely(this seems uneeded since drag can just flip turn and bring a mon that threatens em). 132 Speed EVs let Dragalge outspeed uninvested Sylveon, Incinceroar, (most incin's run speed invest, idt this should deserve a mention, but ask the rudisc) and Galarian Weezing while the 252 HP EVs allow it enable Dragalge to better check threats such as Raikou and Xurkitree, and Roserade (again roserade isnt a check, also list some new mons it checks). The remaining EVs alongside a Modest nature give Dragalge a better offensive presence. Heavy-Duty Boots prevents entry hazard damage and make Dragalge a more reliable pivot. However, Black Sludge can be used instead of Heavy-Duty Boots for a passive recovery.

Since Dragalge struggles against bulky Steel-types like Registeel, Steelix, and Klefki, especially if it lacks Focus Blast, checks to these Pokemon such as are Heracross, Chandelure, or and Zygarde-10% are welcome as great teammates. A special mention deserves Magnezone also serves as a good teammate because as it traps bulky Steel-types (list examples). In return, these Pokemon appreciate Dragalge's slow Flip Turn to get them safe onto the battlefield. Bulky Steel-types like Steelix or Metagross are good teammates for Dragalge, as since they take on Dragon-, Psychic- and Ice-types like Noivern, Indeedee, and Cloyster. Zarude, Golisopod, or Celebi (mention some defensive grasses like tangela) check troublesome Ground-types like Zygarde-10% and Rhyperior. Golisopod and Celebi form are also a good hazard stacking core with Dragalge. Pokemon that benefit from the Toxic Spikes support such Nasty Plot Thundurus, Calm Mind Reuniclus, or Suicune appreciate Dragalge as a teammate. A hazard removers like Noivern, Togekiss, and Crobat are helpful, (rc) if Dragalge is not running Heavy-Duty Boots, since entry hazards limit its pivoting. Sylveon and Umbreon provide Wish support, increasing Dragalges longevity.

not qc, but i would give scald a slash with tspikes and remove focus blast. Scald hits lix and staka with much better accuracy than focus and can also cripple metagross/remove lefties recovery from regi.

Flip Turn allows Dragalge to gain momentum and bring teammates safely onto the battlefield. big draw of flip turn is that you pivot on dragalges usual switchins. so for example if you click flip turn on a registeel it becomes v easy to take advantage of Toxic Spikes helps to wear down bulky Pokemon such as Milotic, Assault Vest Reuniclus, or Porygon2 for its teammates (its not just to wear down dragalges checks). Focus Blast, on the other hand, hits Steel-types such as Registeel, Steelix, and Stakataka super effectively, which would otherwise wall Dragalge completely. mention its outclassed by flip turn unless your team is v weak to those threats cuz u can just pivot on those otherwise 132 Speed EVs let Dragalge outspeed uninvested Sylveon, Incinceroar, and Galarian Weezing while the 252 HP EVs allow it to better check threats such as Raikou, Xurkitree, and Roserade. Toxic Spikes helps to wear down bulky Pokemon such as Milotic, Assault Vest Reuniclus, and Porygon2 for its teammates. Scald, on the other hand, enables Dragalge to hit Steelix and Stakataka super effectively while also has a good chance to punish switch-ins such as Registeel and Metagross with a burn. However, in most cases Dragalge will use Flip Turn rather than Scald. Protect alongside Black Sludge is an option to gain free turns of recovery, and scout moves from Choice item users, albeit it makes Dragalge sometimes slightly more passive. 132 Speed EVs let Dragalge outspeed uninvested Sylveon, Galarian Weezing, and slow Incinceroar variants while 252 HP EVs enable Dragalge to better check special attackers such as Raikou, Xurkitree, and Chandelure. Mienshao, Zarude, and Milotic can maintain momentum and get Dragalge in on Fairy- and Fire-types it checks) Bulky Steel-types like Steelix or Metagross are good teammates for Dragalge as they take on Dragon-, Psychic- and Ice-types like Noivern, Indeedee, and Cloyster. Zarude, Golisopod, or Celebi check troublesome Ground-types like Zygarde-10% and Rhyperior. Golisopod and Celebi form also a good hazard stacking core with Dragalge. Pokemon such as Nasty Plot Thundurus, Calm Mind Reuniclus, and Suicune benefit from Dragalge as a teammate, because its Toxic Spikes wear down their typical checks and counters. An entry hazard remover like Noivern, Togekiss, and Starmie is helpful if Dragalge is not running Heavy-Duty Boots, since entry hazards limit its pivoting. Sylveon and Umbreon provide Wish support, increasing Dragalge's(typo) longevity.

Dragalge has a solid niche in RU as a bulky pivot with access to Toxic Spikes and a good offensive presence that checks common threats such as Raikou, Xurkitree, and Roserade. Unfortunately, it has no reliable recovery, mediocre physical bulk, and its typing leaves it weak a typing leaving it weak to common threats such as Zygarde-10%, Metagross, and Noivern. Flip Turn allows Dragalge to pivot out on its typical switch-ins such as Registeel and Klefki, gain momentum, and bring teammates safely onto the battlefield. Toxic Spikes helps to wear down bulky Pokemon such as Milotic, Assault Vest Reuniclus, and Porygon2 for its teammates. Scald (RC) on the other hand, enables Dragalge can be used instead, however, to hit Steelix and Stakataka super effectively while also has and have a good chance to punish switch-ins such as Registeel and Metagross with a burn. However, in most cases Dragalge will use Flip Turn against switch-ins (assumed you meant that) rather than Scald. Protect alongside Black Sludge is an option to gain free turns of recovery (RC) and scout moves from Choice item users, albeit although it makes Dragalge slightly more passive. 132 Speed EVs let Dragalge outspeed uninvested Sylveon, Galarian Weezing, and slow Incinceroar variants, (AC) while 252 HP EVs enable Dragalge it to better check special attackers such as Raikou, Xurkitree, and Chandelure. The remaining EVs alongside a Modest nature give Dragalge a better offensive presence. Heavy-Duty Boots prevents entry hazard damage and to make Dragalge a more reliable pivot. However, Black Sludge can be used instead for extra passive recovery, (AC) even without Protect. (if Black Sludge needs Protect, then "However, as mentioned, Black Sludge is another option alongside Protect."

Since Dragalge baits bulky Steel-types such as Registeel, Klefki, and Metagross onto the battlefield and pivots out on them with Flip Turn, Pokemon that take advantage of this fact said Steel-types such as Heracross, Chandelure, and Zygarde-10% are great teammates. Volt Switch and U-turn users such as Zarude, Mienshao, and Cobalion form a good VoltTurn core with Dragalge and also bait Fairy- and Fire-types such as Togekiss, Galarian Weezing, Incineroar, and Chandelure onto the battlefield, (AC) of which Dragalge takes advantage. Bulky Steel-types like Steelix or and Metagross are good teammates for Dragalge as they to take on Dragon-, Psychic-, (AC) and Ice-types like Noivern, Indeedee, and Cloyster. Zarude, Golisopod, or and Celebi check troublesome Ground-types like Zygarde-10% and Rhyperior. Golisopod and Celebi also form also a good hazard stacking core with Dragalge.
