Ditto @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Imposter
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SpA / 0 Spe
Relaxed Nature
- Transform

Ditto is a fantastic choice for supporting the Normal teams' defensive core of Chansey and Porygon2 because it scares setup sweepers with the threat of Imposter, which allows it to Transform into a foe and copy its boosts to beat most of them in tandem with Choice Scarf. The IVs let Ditto use Hidden Power Fire, which allows it to trap and beat Magnezone. Imposter allows Ditto to keep Pokemon like Azumarill, which can sweep through Normal teams fairly easily, in check, as Ditto can copy their stat boosts and either KO them or stop them from setting up further. Ditto can also transform into opposing walls such as Mega Sableye to heal off damage with a recovery move, and Ditto can also deflect status back to Mega Sableye thanks to copying Magic Bounce, preventing it from spreading status. On hyper offensive Normal teams, Ditto appreciates Smeargle's hazard support and ability to put Pokemon such as Mega Latias to sleep with Spore. Ditto overall helps keep Normal consistently at the top of the metagame due to Normal's formidable defensive core and the support that Ditto provides as the backbone of the team.

I feel like a lot of things are being repeated here, but it still lacks detail in general. I think you should be more specific about things. Give clear examples of checking Azumarill, blocking Mega Sableye, etc. It’s also unclear why Hidden Power Fire is the preferred type.

Ditto has always been a prime choice for Normal Monotype teams because its Imposter ability allows it to take on setup sweepers that threaten the types Defensive core of Porygon2, Chansey, and Staraptor. Imposter allows Ditto to change into that Pokemon and copy all of its boosts allowing it to beat most setup sweepers in tandem with its Choice Scarf. (Combine these two sentences into one main idea) The IVs allow it to use Hidden Power Fire which allows it to trap and beat Magnezone and beat other Ditto in a 1v1 scenario, while its EVs allow it to maximize its Physical bulk (While technically an optimization, it's a 1/10000 games thing and not really worth being in the spotlight). Ditto's ability keeps Pokemon like Azumarill which can sweep through Normal teams fairly easily, however because Ditto threatens to KO it back and sweep through the team it will usually stop its setup. Ditto can also use opposing walls such as Mega Sableye to heal off its damage with a recovery move and can also deflect status back to Mega Sableye thanks to Magic Bounce, preventing it from spreading status. Ditto overall help keeps Normal consistently at the top of the metagame, due to its formidable defensive core and support that Ditto provides as the backbone of the team.

Since we have more space now, I think we should have something about its uses for HO teams. If you need teammates, Smeargle and defensive Staraptor are prob the best two options here for HO and balance, respectively.
