A glamorous storm's coming in! With its stunning bulk and typing, Diancie has become one of RU's premier walls, switching into strong wallbreakers such as Noivern and Hisuian Typhlosion and take the opportunity to set Stealth Rock up. Its signature move Diamond Storm hits hard and pairs well with Body Press and Moonblast. However, since it does not have any recovery, it heavily relies on keeping Leftovers. Tera Water turns Diancie's weaknesses into resistances and flips the matchup against Bisharp. Diancie pairs well with entry hazard removers and Pokemon that can take hits for it. Wo-Chien makes an excellent partner, as it has good bulk, Knock Off, and covers Diancie's weaknesses bar Poison-type moves. Forretress is also a good partner for Diancie thanks to its entry hazard control and slow pivoting. Bulky Water-types such as Vaporeon and Slowbro also pair well with Diancie, with the former being able to heal it through Wish.

There's a few things there that are very old meta. For one, Wo-Chien is a far superior partner to Diancie than those two grasses are, despite the fact that it cannot remove hazards, but it's a much superior mon in the current meta with access to knock and examplary bulk. Forretress is another very common partner to these two however, which does give the pair hazard removal and a spiker. The waters are fine partners however, well Vaporeon maybe not but we did lose Alomomola so....

Noivern is a fine breaker to point out, but Weavile less so. You can however talk about Typhlosion-Hisui, who struggles a fair bit vs Diancie. Tera Water is good vs iron head true, but it's most specifically good vs Bisharp, as it flips the matchup to Diancie's advantage especially with some luck on Diamond Storm (Bisharp will usually use its tera to turn Diancie into bait).

While Diancie does want its leftovers, it's worth reminding that Knock has very low distribution in RU. The premier knocker is Wo-Chien and while it typically does not carry a grass move, the common partners like Forretress and Wo-Chien can easily shield it. It's usually more important for Diancie to keep its item, particularly if they have strong special breakers left in the game.
