LC Clauncher

[OVERVIEW]
With access to U-turn to maintain momentum, Clauncher finds a very small niche in the metagame. Despite having the ability Mega Launcher, it doesn't have many moves that can capitalize on it and its very average base stats prevent it from achieving any significant damage output. Staryu, Chincou, or Carvahna are better options if you need an offensive Water-type on your team.

[SET]
name: Choice Scarf
move 1: U-turn
move 2: Water Pulse / Hydro Pump
move 3: Ice Beam
move 4: Hidden Power Grass / Hidden Power Fire
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Mega Launcher
nature: Modest
evs: 20 Def / 212 SpA / 12 SpD / 244 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
This is a fairly straightforward set. Choice Scarf aims to take make Clauncher somewhat viable by making up for its poor base Speed. Even with a Choice Scarf and Modest nature, Clauncher is underwhelming, only hitting 16 Special Attack with said Modest nature and unable switch into much. Staryu is a better option in terms of bulk and power, while Chinchou outclasses it as a Water-type pivot.

surf -> water pulse
i cannot find a roll which matters, so the confusion is better.
the HP slashes are fine.

[overview]
"Clauncher is one of the few Water-types in Little Cup that gets U-turn meaning it can't be trapped by Diglett or Trapinch, and that's where it's value ends."
I don't like the above sentence, maybe make it about how with U-turn it can make its checks take more dmg or smthng. I get it refers to Chinchou's volt switch being blocked but still.

[set comments]
staryu is better due to bulk AND power; current phase is a bit redundant
froakie and chou are better scarf mons so specify that; they aren't pivots.

[OVERVIEW]
Remove line break between the header and the overview. U-turn honestly isn't really for chipping checks imo, it's more for letting Clauncher's poor user keep momentum. Not Froakie, either reduce it to two examples or say Carvanha.

[SET]
ok

[SET COMMENTS]
Change the last part from "while Chinchou or even Froakie outclass Clauncher as a scarf turners." to "while Chinchou is a much better Water-type pivot."

ok

Remove that stuff at the bottom before putting this in GP. 2/2
