In this thread, you may post work-in-progress and final stat spreads for the community and the TLT's consideration, and make comments on other peoples' submissions. The Stats Leader, quziel, will decide on a slate for voting based on the community's input. In the Stats Limits thread, the Stats Leader decided on the following limits:

Physical or Physically Biased Mixed w/ Boomburst
BSR <= 480
PS <= 115
SS <= 90
Atk >= SpA
S <= 102
PT <= 110

BSR <= 510
SS <= 126
PS <= 95
SpA >= Atk
S <= 112
PT <= 110

-5 BSR: Heat Crash, Bitter Blade
BSR ABUSE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND WILL NOT BE SLATED!

BSR abuse is doing things like 150 HP and 70 Def/SpD to create a theoretical optimum with the limits that you have. The purpose of the stat rating limits is to restrict what submitters can do, not to give them a license to game the system. If you cannot justify your stats legitimately and have not proven that you aren't just making the best stats within the limits, you will not get slated.

A spreadsheet for calculating the ratings can be found here. To use it for yourself, create an editable copy with File > Make a copy. If you don't have a spreadsheet program, OpenOffice and Google Sheets are free. You must have the stat rating values listed correctly in your submission or it will be ignored for the slate.

When you are satisfied with your stat submission, mark it as finished using the following final submission post format:

Its now time to begin stat spread submissions. I've set three possible routes for y'all, and you're free to choose whichever one fits your spread, even if it doesn't quite match the route's title. To cover the routes again we have:

Route 1:
Physical or Physically Biased Mixed w/ Boomburst
BSR <= 480
PS <= 115
SS <= 90
Atk >= SpA
S <= 102
PT <= 110
ST <= 105
Atk <= 130
SpA <= 99
Spe <= 129

This is a moderate BSR limit, high PS limit, and lower SS limit. I've enforced that your attack has to be greater than or equal to your special attack. You are free to use Boomburst calcs for any spread using these limits, as I feel that the low special sweepiness limit should limit the overall power the spread can put out.

Route 2:

Special or Specially Biased Mixed
BSR <= 510
SS <= 126
PS <= 95
SpA >= Atk
S <= 112
PT <= 110
ST <= 105
SpA <= 130
Atk <= 100
Spe <= 129

This spread is the highest BSR of all of them, and is reserved for specially focused spreads that are built around Hyper Voice. You may not use any Boomburst calcs for this spread. Again I've enforced that special attack has to be greater than or equal to physical attack, and I've also applied a moderate physical sweepiness limit here.

Route 3:

Special or Specially Biased Mixed w/ Boomburst
BSR <= 465
SS <= 108
S <= 95
PT <= 110
ST <= 105
SpA <= 112
Atk <= 130
Spe <= 129

This is the fallback route if your spread is not legal with the other two spreads. There is no limitation on Physical Sweepiness barring the limit on overall sweepiness, and this route is primarily intended to cover spreads with high overall special sweepiness and Boomburst.

Say what your weight is if you have any heat crash calcs.

Edit: Please specify base power on Heat Crash when using it in calcs; this allows slightly more flexibility for artists.

In all cases I have set the bulk limits equal. I have also applied some BSR penalties to three specific moves, as detailed below.

-10 BSR: Torch Song
-5 BSR: Heat Crash, Bitter Blade

The full list of defining moves is also as follows:

Required:
  • If Physical/Mixed: Extreme Speed, Double-Edge, Flare Blitz/Heat Crash
  • If Special/Mixed: Hyper Voice, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Overheat
  • At least one of: U-Turn/Volt Switch/Parting Shot
Optional:
  • Boomburst, Rapid Spin, Fire Lash, Knock Off, Will-o-Wisp, Taunt, 50% Recovery, Strength Sap, Stealth Rock, Spikes
  • At most one of: Bitter Blade/Armor Cannon/Torch Song — Psychic Coverage/Electric Coverage
With that, feel free to begin posting stat spreads. I'll begin providing feedback when I have the time, and I'll give a 48 hour warning before moving to voting.

Specially Biased Mixed w/ Boomburst

Notable Moves: Boomburst, Fire Blast, Extreme Speed, Knock Off, Parting Shot, Spikes

Justification:
This is a Mixed Special spread focused around Boomburst, while also utilizing Extreme Speed. The goal of this spread is threefold:
1) Ensure the power of both Boomburst and Fire Blast
2) Justify the utility of Extreme Speed through its power, priority and synergy with other parts of the Pokemon's kit, while also not overemphasizing its presence and denying the use of a pure special set with utility
3) Giving the Pokemon enough bulk to handle certain matchups, while also being low enough to balance out the Pokemon when maximizing its damage output
Ultimately, the goal of this CAP 32 set is to create a Pokemon who can fulfill a variety of different sets, and use different moves well, but has to consider the opportunity cost of choosing between power, utility, and longevity when deciding its moveset.

SPEED
90 Speed is meant to fulfill the same role as 88, that being outspeeding Great Tusk, as well as the many mons equal in speed or slower than it, such as Baxcalibur, Gholdengo, Rotom-W, and the many defensive Pokemon slower than us to threaten them with our powerful STABs. It's also a useful speed tier for balancing Boomburst, as it means that Jumbao outspeeds us, letting it hit us first and hard if we terastalize into a Fairy type. Put simply, if one opts to try and maximize the insane power of boomburst on this set via choice specs and Tera Fairy, the opportunity cost of doing so will be losing the ability to switch in on the few mons that 32 uses its fire type to resist, such as Jumbao.

BULK
75/60/84 bulk is intentionally somewhat low, as its made to prevent 32 from being able to Terastalize as freely as higher bulk might allow. However, there are some defensive calcs that this bulk was designed for. 75/84 special bulk means that Jumbao w/o Life Orb can't 2hko us, and that with Life Orb, 2 consecutive solar beams doesn't guarantee a 2hko. Furthermore, it also guarantees that Valiants specs Moonblast will almost never 2hko us, and, if Timid nature is ran over Hasty, 75/60 physical bulk ensures that Mixed Valiant can never consistently, or even partially consistently, 2hko us with any of its moves. This bulk also means that Skeledirge cannot 2HKO us with Torch Song into Hex or Shadow Ball, making 32 with Knock Off useful for threatening the Croc with losing its boots.

:Jumbao::
252 SpA Jumbao Solar Beam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Sylveon: 109-129 (37.4 - 44.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252 SpA Life Orb Jumbao Solar Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Sylveon: 143-168 (49.1 - 57.7%) -- 96.9% chance to 2HKO

4 Atk Iron Valiant Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Sylveon: 123-144 (42.2 - 49.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Iron Valiant Psyshock vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Sylveon: 125-148 (42.9 - 50.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

OFFENSES
Special Attack

This is the moneymaker of this set. With a massively powerful Boomburst at its disposal, alongside a serviceable Fire Blast, 105 Special Attack allows 32 to rip through nearly every mon that doesn't resist its STAB's, with Spikes setting the residual damage needed to get important OHKO's for 32. Most notably, 105 SpA allows 32 to always OHKO max HP Kingambit after 1 layer of Spikes with Fire Blast, and with Rocks and a layer of Spikes on the field, Boomburst will always OHKO Arghonaut with maximum special bulk. Spikes also gives Boomburst a high chance to 2HKO Max Spdef Garg, and Fire Blast always solidly OHKO's Libra. that being said, even with the maximum amount of power in the form of Choice Specs and Tera Fairy, Boomburst fails to 2HKO Pokemon such as Pex and Iron Moth, and without commiting to both of these options, Boomburst fails to break through mons like Skeledirge and Venomicon.

Defining Moves: Boomburst, Armor Cannon, Parting Shot, Knock Off

This is a Special Spread

Explanation:

This spread is very simple.
“Go fast, go Boom.”

The standout Stat is its speed, which makes it the third fastest Pokémon in CAP unboosted (unless you use Talonflame or Weavile :Eyes:).
Going high speed means it it can use its great dual coverage to force switches against frail and fast Pokémon like Meowscarada, Greninja or Iron Valiant.

The power of Boomburst and Armor Cannon is high enough to OHKO any univested Pokémon weak to them without boosting item, allowing CAP32 to run boots.
Paired with Parting Shot and its blazing speed, this will allow it to pivot fairly free of damage and perform valuable speed control - similar to boots Pult, Meowscarada, Cinderace or Krilowatt - allowing it to get out of dodgy situations, while softening the opposition with the debuffs of Parting Shot.

It’s just bulky enough, so faster mons which don’t use offensive set up can’t OHKO or (in case of Scarf/Booster Energy Iron Valiant) 2hko it, while being able to OHKO all faster threats.

Knock Off is the last tool that will aid it in wearing down the opposition, as it can force the boots reliant switch ins into a bad spot , when taking hazard damage, e.g. being able of 2hkoing physically defensive Venomicon after Rocks with Armor Cannon

While the spread allows it to play well into faster threats, it will have to be more careful against bulky Pokémon it could threaten with its STAB. Pokémon like Equilibra or Venomicon are 2hkoed or heavily threatened by Armor Cannon but they easily threaten KOs or heavy damage with Earth Power or Hurricane especially after a Special Defense drop. This enables them to come in on a predicted Boomburst and threaten out 32.
Pokémon like Toxapex and Clodsire are straight up walls to this spread if you can’t force them low with hazards even if you use Tera Specs Boomburst.

Lastly its frailty and non specialized bulk means that CAP32 will require skillful positioning via pivoting partners or doubles to allow it to perform its offensive duties.

TLDR: If you like Pivots like Boots Dragapult, Meowscarada, Greninja, Cinderace or Krilowatt which are mostly frail but can use their speed, utility and in some cases useful resists paired with a strong offensive presence to control tempo and wear down the opposing team, this is the spread to vote for.

This spread is supposed to max out the utility of Pixilate boomburst by outspeeding every relevant unboosted fairy weak Mon within the allowable speed (RIP 143 Speed CAP 32).
Why I don’t use espeed for this? Honestly I like Espeed bc it is less conditional in outspeeding literally anything even boosted.
But it’s also less Spammable.
96 Base Priority is nuts but 8PP and lowish base power mean you will often have to play with the threat of extreme speed to click other moves for progress, rather than actually clicking it.
Boomburst the other hand in this configuration is the single most Spammable move ever. 170BP without any drawbacks and a generous 16pp means you hardly need anything else to make progress even from only 87 SpA, especially if you get the jump on most of the fast and frail faction of the meta.
I also think that the high speed pairs really well with a boots pivot, making it really hard to force damage on, as mons like boots meow, cinderace and Kril demonstrate, which can go entire games without ever taking damage.
I still think that CAP32 will need a little extra to guarantee progress for its team, which is why Knock Off and Taunt are going to be optional moves, that allow 32 to wear down checks and cripple defensive pivots for its teammates.

Atm the spread is still very WIP just maxing out SS and BSR but I envision trimming off fat with further calcs to have more freedom to add stuff like taunt, knock maybe even spikes or glare.

Defining Moves: Extreme Speed, Double-Edge, Heat Crash, Parting Shot, Knock Off, Spikes

This is a Physical spread

108 Attack allows us to OHKO Arghonaut and Offensive Great Tusk with Double-Edge (The later after a layer of Spikes). Given that both of these two are potentially quite threatening to us, I wanted to give us just enough Attack to be able to make quick work of them. I was originally going to go for 112 Attack to potentially allow Adamant Sets to shine (As this is the threshold needed to OHKO Colossoil), but I decided against it since I figured it would be more worthwhile to tune other areas of the spread.

Given that most of the defensive value of our typing comes from taking hits from the special side, I figured that sacrificing our physical bulk in exchange for giving ourselves fairly solid Special Bulk would overall be more valuable than going with more mixed defenses in the end.

This is a dump stat.

97 Special Defense allows us to survive Earth Power from Equilibra (Assuming the standard spread) from full. To reiterate what I said from the Stats Limit Spread, I think that the ability to 1v1 Equilibra from full is a fairly solid niche, since there aren't really any Fairy-types that are capable of doing that without consuming Tera outside of Azumarill. Also, having high special bulk is just really good for CAP32 in general, since most of the attacks that it is going to want to switch-in on are going to be special attacks.

97 Speed outspeeds Jumbao. Originally I had my spread just outspeeding Great Tusk, but I figured that it would be best to make this spread faster so that it less easily threatened out by Colossoil and also does a better overall job at checking the aforementioned Jumbao. Also, 97 Speed allows us to tie with Gholdengo if we choose to run Adamant over Jolly (Although I personally don't see this spread going with Adamant very often, if at all. Still, it's nice to know that the option is at least there).

Bitter Blade

General idea was to make matchups into mons like Jumbao and Iron Valiant more favorable. I took inspiration from Ceruledge's distribution and shaped it accordingly. I adjusted the base HP and Spdef to find the relative minimum for % taken from neutral hits by Iron Valiant and Ghodengo without investment. I then started by looking at damage benchmarks. Base 121 adamant was needed to guarantee 2hko Bulky Quiver Dance Volcarona with Bitter Blade. Interestingly enough, it is also the attack needed to grant a small chance to ohko Floatzel with Espeed. Being slower than Gholdengo and having fairy Espeed, our speed tier stops being overly relevant. I didn't want to fully tank the speed stat though, so I decided to tie with Armarouge. While speed ties aren't ideal, each point of speed was taking about 2 points of BSR. That investment was best reserved for defense which had yet to be selected and was going to be LOW. I considered using a Kingambit benchmark to set base defense, but given the complexity of supreme overlord + swords dance, I used a different mon. I wanted to set it to 60 which let this spread live something like a choice band bullet punch from Scizor at full without any investment. Unfortunately, that would have meant throwing Bitter Blade away since the BSR was shy of 480, so 55 it was. You can still achieve that benchmark with minimal investment, but it isn't as clean.

This is definitely unintentionally copying dex’s spread

Notable moves: ESpeed and Flare Blitz, Bitter Blade, Knock Off, U-Turn

This is a Physical spread, allowing CAP32 to capitalize on ESpeed KOing a lot of threats, and has decent bulk, the physical bulk is to live an EQ from Ting-Lu uninvested
0 Atk Ting-Lu Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Sylveon: 236-278 (83.9 - 98.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Also the spread only accounts for 252+ Atk EVs / 252 Spe investments
Offenses:
This spread’s offensive potential really relies on using ESpeed to make up for slow speed while using a very good 124 base Attack. The main appeal for 124 Atk is Flare Blitz OHKOing Miasmaw and Kingambit, and ESpeed OHKOing Colo.

Physical Defense:

The main reason I wanted to focus more on Def on this spread was the ever common Earthquake which we are weak to, like I said before, 70/100’s main appeal is living an EQ from Ting-Lu, as well as living unboosted Baxcalibur Earthquake.

Defining Moves: Double-Edge, Extreme Speed, Flare Blitz, Parting Shot, Bitter Blade, Knock Off

I opted for a somewhat slower, somewhat bulky physical set.

All calcs assume the following:
  • We are running Heavy-Duty Boots
  • 252 Attack EVs
  • 252 Speed EVs
  • Jolly nature
Main thing 103 does is ensure we OHKO Iron Valiant.
  • 252 Atk Pixilate Delphox Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Iron Valiant: 290-344 (100.3 - 119%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Extreme Speed also OHKO's Dragapult and Roaring Moon, while 2HKOing Arghonaut, offensive Great Tusk, and Tank Garchomp.
  • 252 Atk Pixilate Delphox Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Dragapult: 338-402 (106.6 - 126.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
  • 252 Atk Pixilate Delphox Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Roaring Moon: 712-840 (202.8 - 239.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
  • 252 Atk Pixilate Delphox Extreme Speed vs. 252 HP / 40 Def Arghonaut: 270-318 (65.2 - 76.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
  • 252 Atk Pixilate Delphox Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Great Tusk: 212-252 (57.1 - 67.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
  • 252 Atk Pixilate Delphox Extreme Speed vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Garchomp: 278-330 (66.1 - 78.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Bitter Blade also 2HKOs Equilibra and Kingambit.
  • 252 Atk Delphox Bitter Blade vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Kingambit: 216-254 (63.3 - 74.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
  • 252 Atk Delphox Bitter Blade vs. 252 HP / 100 Def Equilibra: 236-278 (57.8 - 68.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Nonexistant, as this is not a mixed offensive spread

Main thing 95/79 does is prevent it from being 2HKO'd by Choice Band Meowscarada's Flower Trick.
  • 252 Atk Choice Band Meowscarada Flower Trick vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Delphox on a critical hit: 139-164 (41.9 - 49.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
We also survive a Swords Dance Sucker Punch from Kingambit after 5 fainted allies.
  • +2 252+ Atk Supreme Overlord 5 allies fainted Kingambit Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Delphox: 235-277 (70.9 - 83.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Main thing 95/86 does is prevent it from being 2HKO'd by Jumbao's Solar Beam.
  • 252 SpA Life Orb Jumbao Solar Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Delphox: 140-165 (42.2 - 49.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
It can also take a Thunderbolt from Choice Specs Iron Valiant.
  • 252 SpA Choice Specs Iron Valiant Thunderbolt vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Delphox: 158-186 (47.7 - 56.1%) -- 82.4% chance to 2HKO

Speed is for Breloom, which isn't a super relevant mon atm but at least we won't have to waste Extreme Speed's low PP on it. It also outspeeds Kingambit and Equilibra.

Parting Shot over U-turn to push down Kerfluffle's viability even further so that we don't activate Prologue's Stamina.

Bitter Blade is good compression, healing + damaging, nothing more I can say about this move that wasn't already brought up in Defining Moves.

Knock Off because I do not think we will be all that viable if we are blanket walled by all Fire types. This helps with Skeledirge in particular.

Remember this guy?

What if we made this guy but gave him some Jordan's?

Yes, this is just a faster copy of another forgettable Johto Pokemon. I bet you can't even remember what level Remoraid evolves. But for a Boomburst spread, Octillery has a pretty good chassis if you make it faster than Kingambit. This spread converged on something similar to Octillery during design, and with a small tweak to special bulk we too can emulate the OG Octazooka blasta.

1682266392797.png
Setting Up the Spread
1682266403029.png

Looking at every stat individually is a waste of time, and what really matters is how you are going to combine them into comprehensive EV spreads that give CAP32 a competitive offensive profile. So let's break down the important benchmark calcs and EVs.

If you have 105 Special Attack and Pixilate Boomburst, you want to click the move as much as your feeble non-tentacled hands allow. But such a powerful move needs limitations, as made evident when Pokemon like Aerilate Noivern decide to break OM metas. Rather than just nerfing the power of the move, this spread hits the other parts of CAP32: bulk and speed. Base 75 is slow for an offensive Pokemon, falling short of a litany of offensive threats which can and will outspeed to OHKO you given the chance:
252 SpA Gholdengo Make It Rain vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Octillery: 253-298 (86.9 - 102.4%)
252+ Atk Dragonite Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Octillery: 312-368 (107.2 - 126.4%)
252 SpA Glimmora Earth Power vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Octillery: 248-294 (85.2 - 101%) (obviously STABs OHKO)

I am not going to list every relevant faster offensive threat, but you get the idea. The trade off is that CAP32 tears through slower teams, and very few defensive options want to take repeated Boombursts. 105 Special Attack isn't a coincidence, for there were three Choice Specs calcs I wanted to focus on:

252+ SpA Choice Specs Pixilate Tera Fairy Octillery Boomburst vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Clodsire: 187-220 (40.3 - 47.5%)
252+ SpA Choice Specs Pixilate Tera Fairy Octillery Boomburst vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Skeledirge: 224-264 (54.5 - 64.2%)
252+ SpA Choice Specs Pixilate Tera Fairy Octillery Boomburst vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Venomicon: 200-236 (53.4 - 63.1%)

If you are committing to Tera and Specs on a Pokemon with 75 base Speed, you better be demolishing defensive cores. And that is what this spread does. It absolutely teras through Skeledirge and Venomicon, breaking open a lot of defensive teams. But you need extra work to break Clodsire. Without chip or a lot of Spikes, Clodsire can come in and sit on you for a couple turns. But you can break it if you get that Recover PP stalled, which is kind of the point. Boomburst is supposed to shred offense. And of course, you don't need to go the Choice Specs route. Maybe you want to be flexible by running Heavy-Duty Boots. No problem, because Boomburst can still get clean 2HKOs on pretty much every slower Pokemon taking neutral from it. Also you can OHKO Krilowatt with Pixilate HDB Boomburst if you do Tera Fairy anyways, and it ain't OHKOing you!

What about the 75 Speed benchmarks?

Well, if you are absolutely paranoid about the Kingambit MU, 132 EVs with a neutral nature will outspeed even max Speed Jolly Kingambit, which is pretty good. That also leaves you with 124 leftover EVs to play with as a worst case scenario. Let's craft an example EV spread:

124 Attack / 252 Special Attack / 132 Speed Mild

Truly the most mixed of sweepers, this spread leans into the awesome potential of Tera Fairy. With 124 Attack EVs and Tera Fairy, you can get some sick calcs such as:
124 Atk Pixilate Tera Fairy Octillery Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Baxcalibur: 348-412 (93.8 - 111%)
124 Atk Pixilate Octillery Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Iron Valiant: 264-312 (91.3 - 107.9%)
124 Atk Pixilate Tera Fairy Octillery Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Iron Valiant: 352-416 (121.7 - 143.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
124 Atk Pixilate Octillery Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Dragapult: 308-366 (97.1 - 115.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

So you can maintain some offensive utility against faster threats, especially if you Tera Fairy! Without Tera Fairy, you need to make accessions in either Speed or SpA EVs to hit these benchmarks, but such decision making is the nuance of teambuilding. Makes CAP32 a little more thought provoking than just smacking the same spread all the time.

Oh, and the bulk is still good enough with Mild against the very niche but bad scenario of:
252+ Atk Black Glasses Supreme Overlord 5 allies fainted Tera Dark Kingambit Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 0- Def Octillery: 219-258 (75.2 - 88.6%)

And while on the topic of bulk, here is the Jumbao calc:
252 SpA Jumbao Solar Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Octillery: 120-142 (41.2 - 48.7%)

This spread also has 105 Attack! So if you want to make an all-out attacking spread the focuses more on higher Attack and maximizing ExtremeSpeed damage output, you can have that too. Make CAP32 pretty flexible, which is good for viability, and forces you to scout its moveset a bit which is a good way to make a Pokemon with such middling stats excel both in the builder and game.

I will post more calcs later and expand on the physical route. Armor Cannon is here since without Specs or Tera Fairy, Boomburst doesn't always OHKO bulky Kingambit, but Armor Cannon will. So you don't feel like you always need to Tera to OHKO Kingambit.

This spread achieves the same benchmarks but has more physical bulk and (more importantly) lower BST.
Spread avoids 2hko from Valiant moonblast 100% of the time and valiant CC 99.8% of the time. It also avoids the OHKO from 36 Libra Earth Power. 85 Speed means you outspeed and 2hko Gholdengo with Fire Lash or OHKO with Blitz.

Heat Crash has been dropped due to BSR limitations. It was there because 50 HP was not ideal for Flare Blitz, which had been remedied with the new spread anyway.

Despite an 80% increase in HP from the original spread, Strength Sap still heals plentifully. For Example, Mixed Valiant heals us for 92% of our health if we have no HP investment.

117 Speed outspeeds Iron Valiant. Boomburst 2hkoes just about everything that doesn't resist it. 68 Attack means you can run Extreme Speed and still 2hko Booster Energy Valiant and OHKO Roaring Moon. Knock Off is there to provide additional pressure to Equilibra as Armor Cannon does not 2hko without Specs, although Specs is a perfectly viable set to run with this spread.

BSR: 474.41

Optional moves: Heat Crash, Knock Off, Stealth Rock, 50% recovery

Weight: 800 kg (enough to ensure Heat Crash is 100 BP against Jumbao)

This spread was designed to be a sort of inverse of Pokemon like Superpower Nidoking or Hydreigon, a high Attack stat that ensures powerful Extreme Speeds and Heat Crashes, with a Special Attack that's high enough to act as a nuke against physically defensive Pokemon like Great Tusk. This spread focuses mostly on offense and comparatively little on defense, just enough bulk to avoid 2HKOs from not-very-effective hits (like Sucker Punch Kingambit or Solar Beam Jumbao) and either heal or set hazards. The Speed stat allows us to outrun Pokemon like Baxcalibur, Great Tusk, and Gholdengo.

This spread is designed to be flexible, as it can quite easily go full physical with E-Speed+Heat Crash+Knock+recovery/rocks. Even a Jolly nature + Boomburst is possible, as this still OHKOs Great Tusk

TLDR for offensive benchmarks: OHKOs glass cannons like Dragapult and Iron Valiant with E-Speed, Outspeeds and OHKOs Gholdengo and Kingambit with Heat Crash.

The goal of this spread is to launch off extremely powerful Extreme Speeds and deny soft checks like Venomicon through Knock Off or Taunt, all while staying healthy with Bitter Blade. It is sorta like Scizor in a fun way.

My crafted EV spread for this is as follows: 216 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 36 Spe with an Adamant Nature. The Speed is for Venomicon to allow you to Taunt/pivot on it. TLDR if you don't want to read the calcs, the HP invest is to allow CAP 32 to survive one Adamant Dragonite Tera Normal Espeed and let CAP 32 live Equilibra Earth Power and Tera Ground Volcarona Tera Blast while avoiding an OHKO from Rotom-W Hydro Pump. 75 HP / 55 Atk / 109 Def / 80 SpA / 50 SpD / 111 Spe [480 BST]
Notable Moves: Boomburst, Torch Song, Hyper Voice, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Overheat, U-turn, Thunderbolt
PS:
lol
S: 83.57
PT: 105.19
ST: 56.96
BSR: 454.89

Justification:
Wanted to try out a Torch Song spread that skews in one of the two defenses without abusing the BSR limits or getting an obscene BST. Chose physical defense so that I wouldn't be punished as hard by Clodsire's Earthquake. This set can't set up easily (duh, we're a Fire-type!) but most of the things that switch into either Boomburst or Torch Song can't switch into the other move; it also can soft check... a lot of physical attackers? Like, way more than I initially anticipated. I anticipate for this to be used very similarly to Venomicon, where you don't get going immediately but if your checks are gone, it's a nightmare to take down, especially so with an odd Tera type for defensive utility.
I decided to try and give it Thunderbolt; the low base SpA means we're not exactly breaking any new ground or OHKOing Toxapex or something, but it also means that Venomicon can't come in all willy nilly.
My Speed was aimed to be able to outspeed frail attackers that could potentially KO, Torch Song on the switchin and then KO them before they can move.
The Attack stat is actually funny because it always 2HKOes Meowscarada with U-turn. Also, I wanted my pivoting move to ALWAYS work so that Equilibra wouldn't cut CAP 32 down.

Suggested EV spread is 136 HP / 120 SpA / 252 Speed; this spread allows CAP 32 to take two Extreme Speed hits from Tera Normal Dragonite while keeping just enough fire power to 2HKO most things that don't resist Pixi-Boomburst.

Required:
  • Extreme Speed, Double-Edge, Flare Blitz, Heat Crash (120 BP vs. Kingambit, 100 BP vs. Caribolt, and 80 BP vs. Jumbao)
  • Parting Shot
Optional:
  • Knock Off, Will-O-Wisp, Taunt, Spikes
Aiming for a purely Physical build with this. This particular spread allows CAP 32 to outpace a lot of the major threats such as Jumbao and Baxcalibur/Great Tusk, particularly when running an Adamant nature, while also giving it a decent HP stat to use as it's main source of bulk. The 103 base HP also serves as a buffer to recoil suffered from Double-Edge and/or Flare Blitz. The bulk, as shown in the calcs below, allow CAP 32 to live the hits it should such as anything Jumbao or Valiant have to offer while also having an above average chance of living +2 5 allies fainted Supreme Overlord Kingambit's Sucker Punch (it does live from full if only 4 allies have fainted fwiw).

Parting Shot is the pivot move of choice to not proc Venomicon's Stamina while also providing the incoming teammate with a little bit of a buffer. Knock Off provides mainly utility to allow CAP 32 to get rid of the opponent's Leftovers or Heavy-Duty Boots and turn some near guaranteed OHKOes/2HKOes into guaranteed. Will-O-Wisp and Taunt work extremely well together as CAP 32 can wear down the bulkier things that might be able to tank hits from it. Spikes allows CAP 32 to capitalize on the forced switches it makes due to its natural Speed stat alongside powerful STABs due to Pixilate.

Route 1: Physically Biased

78/103/53/50/85/107

BST: 476

PS
: 114.12
SS: 69.51
PT: 60.13
ST: 87.26
BSR: 479.48

Optional Moves: Knock Off, Parting Shot, Spikes, Taunt

Explanation: After spending a bit of time thinking about how to best maximize CAP 32's potential, I decided on giving it a faster spread over a slower, bulkier spread. Since our bulk is extremely limited without investment, there isn't a whole lot we can reliably switch into anyway. Rather, our true value in my opinion comes from the offensive pressure we apply. The idea behind this spread is to pressure faster threats such as Dragapult and Iron Valiant with E-Speed and pivot out against slower, bulkier E-Speed switch-ins such as Venomicon with Parting Shot. I spent quite a bit of time trying to think about how to reliably beat bulkier Pokemon 1v1 such as Great Tusk or Equilibra, but I honestly think the best answer is just to pivot out with Parting Shot against them, as both require significant bulk on both sides to survive, which would severely hamper our offensive presence.

This spread was designed in such a way to force out faster threats and punish the switch with Knock Off or Spikes, then pivot safely out with Parting Shot. While this Pokemon may not be able to tank hits as effectively as other spreads can, I think there are better options to deal with bulkier threats anyway. We are a Fire type after all with weaknesses to several common types, and with our limited stats there isn't a whole lot we can reliably tank. This spread retains enough offensive presence to remain threatening with Extreme Speed while having enough speed to safely pivot out of bulkier threats into a Pokemon that can handle it much more effectively, especially at -1. Taunt is provided to give additional utility against bulkier switch-ins, though it may not be all that useful.

78 HP may not be ideal for recoil moves such as Flare Blitz or Double Edge, but it is certainly usable, as Pokemon such as Blaziken have shown.

Potential Set:

CAP 32 @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Pixilate
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def/ 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Extreme Speed
- Flare Blitz
- Parting Shot
- Knock Off/Spikes

Essentially, this spread embodies a bit of role compression. We are functionally a supporting pivot with powerful speed control that also enables us to pressure Pokemon such as Dragapult or Iron Valiant. Additionally, we can function as a late game cleaner, as even with 103 attack we can still apply significant pressure with Extreme Speed after enough chip. We cannot deal as much damage on our own or tank hits like our teammates can, so leaning into our strengths is ideal here in my opinion. I also think that Pixiespeed itself is enough to give us a niche, but our additional utility and support options definitely give us a secondary purpose as well.

The set I have in mind here is Extreme Speed, Flare Blitz, Knock Off, and Parting Shot. Knock is provided to give us utility against Fire types who often run Boots as well as punishing E-Speed switchins.

Let's get the obvious ones out of the way. With 103 base attack:

252 Atk Pixilate Arcanine Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Dragapult: 338-402 (106.6 - 126.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Pixilate Arcanine Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Iron Valiant: 290-344 (100.3 - 119%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Pixilate Arcanine Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Roaring Moon: 712-840 (202.8 - 239.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Pixilate Arcanine Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Greninja: 372-438 (130.5 - 153.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Pixilate Arcanine Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Meowscarada: 356-422 (121.5 - 144%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Pixilate Arcanine Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Dragonite: 380-450 (117.6 - 139.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO after breaking Multiscale
252 Atk Pixilate Tera Fairy Arcanine Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Baxcalibur: 384-452 (103.5 - 121.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

These are our bread and butter calcs. These Pokemon will nearly always be forced to switch or Tera against us. While we do have to Tera to OHKO Bax, I think that's fair given Bax's high bulk. Additionally, here are some other Flare Blitz calcs I thought were relevant.

252 Atk Arcanine Flare Blitz vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Gholdengo: 350-414 (111.1 - 131.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Arcanine Flare Blitz vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Caribolt: 392-464 (126.8 - 150.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Arcanine Flare Blitz vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Jumbao in Sun: 512-606 (157.5 - 186.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO. Still an OHKO outside of sun.
252 Atk Arcanine Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 172+ Def Amoonguss: 450-530 (104.1 - 122.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Arcanine Flare Blitz vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Kingambit: 390-458 (114.3 - 134.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Arcanine Flare Blitz vs. 236 HP / 0 Def Kingambit: 390-462 (97.5 - 115.5%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO
252 Atk Arcanine Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 140 Def Equilibra: 300-354 (73.5 - 86.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Arcanine Flare Blitz vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Corviknight: 318-374 (79.6 - 93.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

TLDR: We OHKO Dragapult, Iron Valiant, Meowscarada, Greninja, and Roaring Moon from full. Additionally, we OHKO Dragonite after breaking Multiscale and Baxcalibur after Terastallization.

This list is a bit shorter. Mostly just going to be calcing moves that the 5 Pokemon who always die to Extreme Speed commonly run. Again, our defensive utility is a lot lower here, so we won't be tanking many hits anyway. As with most fast offensive pivots, switching in will be highly reliant on prediction.

252 SpA Jumbao Solar Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Arcanine: 108-128 (36.3 - 43%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

We outspeed Life Orb Jumbao, so it's less important that we survive two of its attacks.

TLDR; We survive most non-super effective moves that the Pokemon we OHKO with E-Speed commonly run. Earthquake is still an issue, but as with most fast offensive pivots, switching in is highly prediction reliant anyway.

107 speed specifically was chosen to outspeed Krill and Caribolt. I knew I wanted at least 101 speed to outspeed base 100s, and I felt that 107 was a great place to start as both Krill and Caribolt are pretty common. With this speed, we are able to outspeed a significant portion of the metagame, allowing us to freely spam Parting Shot or Knock against a good number of Pokemon. While we don't really do much to Krill without chip, Parting Shot does allow us to hamper its damage output a good deal. It's also worth mentioning that we do survive Krill Surf after Knock, although this may not be the greatest trade.

252 SpA Krilowatt Surf vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Arcanine: 252-296 (84.8 - 99.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

I believe the combination of Extreme Speed and Parting Shot/Knock could be quite effective on a faster Pokemon, especially as an offensive pivot. Many faster Pokemon tend to be on the frailer side and thus generally dislike Extreme Speed, while many slower Pokemon dislike the effects of Parting Shot or losing their item. With lower speed, many faster threats are bulky enough to shrug off Extreme Speed, even if we increase our attack to compensate. Since we cannot generally threaten them with Extreme Speed, our only option is generally to switch given our low bulk. If we do outspeed them, however, we are able to switch much more reliably and consistently with Parting Shot.

Specially Biased Mixed - No Boomburst
Defining Moves:
Hyper Voice, Fire Blast, Extreme Speed, Volt Switch? and/or Parting Shot

Offensive breakpoints:
  • 127 SpA Timid/Hasty Fire Blast cleanly OHKOs Corviknight without Tera, coincidentally this also lets you 2HKO Krilowatt with Hyper Voice. Other notable KOs include a 2HKO on CM Hatterene with Hyper Voice and a 2HKO on Equilibra and a 1HKO on Kingambit with Fire Blast.
  • Tera then lets you easily 2HKO mons like Ting-Lu, most Garganacl and Snaelstrom with Timid Hyper Voice.
  • Specs then can 2HKO Corviknight, and Amoonguss (with 1 hazard) with Tera Hyper Voice as well as OHKO Equilibra and 2HKO max SpD Venomicon-Prologue with Fire Blast.
  • 76 Atk is enough to OHKO Meowscarada and frailer mons (Greninja, Roaring Moon) and easily 2HKO Iron Valiant, Baxcalibur with a Fairy weakness with Tera Fairy Extremespeed with 4 EVs invested and a neutral nature (Hasty recommended, Naive works too). It will KO Dragapult after a single round of Rocks too.
  • 88 speed with a positive nature is faster than Baxcalibur and Great Tusk.

Defensive breakpoints:
  • 81/65/83 defenses are enough to live 2 Flower Tricks from Meowscarada, 2 Close Combats or 3 Moonblasts from Mixed Iron Valiant, 2 Moonblasts from Specs Iron Valiant and 2 full power Leaf Storms from Scarf Jumbao.
  • This spread is not OHKOd by Specs Shadow Ball from Dragapult even after rocks, so in the unfortunate event where you cannot guarantee the OHKO with Extreme Speed, you can still revenge it with Hyper Voice if need be.
  • Going Naive over Hasty lets us take a 5-hit Icicle Spear from +1 Dragon Dance Baxcalibur, which even if it Teras into a Fairy-type will die to Hyper Voice + Extreme Speed after taking Stealth Rock.
  • Tera Fairy lets us live an Earthquake from defensive Great Tusk, offensive Iron Treads, Miasmaw and non-Band Roaring Moon, anything from Garganacl, Earth Power from Equilibra (though watch out for Flash Cannon), or any +1 hits from Stratagem after Meteor Beam has been used.
Notes:

I went with a Hyper Voice spread here because I wanted a bit more power behind our Fire STAB, and honestly I think we don't necessarily need Boomburst in order to punch holes into teams. The option to run Specs also exists here and we can effectively use it to 2HKO resists with a neutral nature, which outputs around the same damage as Modest Specs Sylveon, but this of course comes at the cost of taking massive hazard damage. This spread is definitely frail, but can take resisted hits fairly well in order to switch in and claim a kill once. It's also still very usable at revenge killing or forcing Tera with its own Tera Extreme Speed, because it can absolutely still get the drop on the many fast frail attackers currently seen in the meta, especially if hazards are up or mons are otherwise chipped.

Overview: 74 | 103 | 66 | 94 | 79 | 89

There are a few really interesting and moderately divergent ways to approach stats for a concept such as this, which is really cool, and I think that many of them will work out just fine. My idea here is to focus the stat spread primarily around on-field offensive pressure as a means of pivoting and generating momentum for your team, with considerable potential for damage output that requires proper scouting for the opponent to navigate. This is done primarily via Pixilate, by marrying Extreme Speed and Boomburst and using them together to make for a unique and highly dangerous mixed threat alongside its high-BP Fire STABs.

This concept sets out to build an OU-worthy Pokemon in spite of its non-OU stat line, and for starters, I would consider these stats to be universally underwhelming at face value. I feel like we're good there. This is essentially the Nidoking route, where ability, stats, and movepool make up a 3-legged stool for unlocking subversively dangerous damage levels (this spread shares BST, BSR, and general stat layout w/ Nidoking). It may not feel great every time switching in, but getting CAP on the field ought to put your opponent in an immediate reactive state, as offensive pivots are meant to do. I believe this spread accomplishes that.

Another good point that some users made back in the earlier threads was that unpredictability or uncertainty can be a source of power that isn't necessarily tied to great stats, so I feel like that is an avenue we should absolutely try and bring to the forefront, as it directly relates to the concept and the potential for learning about the metagame (I do think CAP should have a second viable ability, but that's for a different thread). To that end, I really think mixed offense is the way to go here, if only for the rarity of the opportunity to do so. Functionally, though, we've given ourselves the perfect setup for it with Pixilate and a targets list that is mostly specialized on only one defensive end or the other, waiting to be exploited. Is this Pixilate CAP or is it [2nd Ability] CAP? Okay it's Pixilate, but is it the special nuke or the powerful priority set? Forcing these considerations upon the opponent is a great source of power that we can create beyond stats and is a great application of the concept, imo.

Offenses: 103 | 94 | 89

This spread assumes that Heavy-Duty Boots will be the main choice for item; however I still want to leave the avenue open to net big bonuses for taking a risk on Choice Band or Choice Specs, and even further still for using up your Terastalization, so you'll see calcs for each of those options below.

With access to Extreme Speed, Double-edge, Flare Blitz, and Knock Off, the viability of physical sets is higher than the deceptively mediocre stats would presume. Physical sets also have access to Boomburst, which maintains guaranteed OHKOs against physically defensive Great Tusk, Cyclohm, and Tomohawk. It also takes some pressure off of using the high-BP recoil moves Flare Blitz and Double-edge, so you can 2HKO things like Rotom-W, Hatterene, and Krilowatt without KOing yourself in the process. I considered adding Bitter Blade here for a while but found its healing potential-to-damage ratio to be too low to justify running alongside or in lieu of Flare Blitz. I do think the physical set, being so wrapped around these high-BP recoil moves, ought to have some kind of opponent-targeted healing mechanism to compensate for the recoil, so I listed Strength Sap as an intentional move addition here. Strength Sap is great for scouting on forced switches, and while the low HP makes the recoil moves more dangerous, it also makes Strength Sap more lucrative. I could maybe feasibly see a stat gremlin set with Extreme Speed / Double-edge / Boomburst / Knock Off / Strength Sap / Parting Shot finding niche usage every once in a while, so the option's there, although I think with this spread we're better off leaning into the damage output.

Special sets get a huge boost to viability with access to Extreme Speed, keeping Meowscarada, Dragapult, and Greninja in check with the option to RKO other weakened faster threats late-game. Boomburst off of 94 SpA is very powerful and is only okay to switch into for a small handful of Pokemon. This stat also allows you to open up Corviknight, Kingambit, and defensive Gholdengo to OHKOs with Overheat, which the physical set struggles somewhat harder with due to these targets' higher Defensive investment. This is likely the best out-of-the-gate set with the information we have so far, which may or may not make the physical set a better lure option down the line, but who knows.

89 Speed parks you right above Baxcalibur and Great Tusk, requiring 240 EVs+nature to outrun them, which I will presume to always be the case, at minimum, for Speed investment. 252 EVs+nature hits 304 Speed, outrunning all neutral-natured base 102s and below.

Defenses: 74 | 66 | 79

Defenses are not the star of the show here; in fact, they are more of a balancing factor than anything. CAP can switch into a couple of resisted hits and/or weaker neutral attacks or it can play some shenanigans with Terastalization to survive SE attempts at a KO, but it's not designed to be a tank as well as an offensive pivot. As far as benchmarks go, I went with the following:
  • always survive 252 SpA Gholdengo Make It Rain from full HP. CAP can switch into any Gholdengo set at least once and threaten to KO.
  • [Hasty] always survive Adamant Tera Dark Kingambit Sucker Punch (5 fallen)
  • [Jolly] always survive SR + Adamant Tera Dark Kingambit Sucker Punch (5 fallen)

Physically Biased Mixed w/ Boomburst

Will post justifications and do a bit more fine tuning later, but the goal is to maximize bulk within the BSR limits while maintaining a solid physical attacking presence. Personally don't think we need that much speed investment if our premier attacking move is +2 priority.

Notable Moves: Extreme Speed, Boomburst, Fire Blast, Knock Off, Spikes, Parting Shot, 50% Recovery

Justification: This is an incredibly flexible spread that aims to create a versatile mon that can serve a number of different roles. It falls under the limits of "physically-based mixed with Boomburst", although I suspect specially-based mixed attacker would be the primary set. I asked and was told this is acceptable since it fits the limits of an established category. Anyway, this spread offers very solid bulk and very potent offensive power as well, due to the nature of our STAB options, and you can tech into a lot of different sets depending on your team.

Sets:
This spread is really really malleable, but there are a few routes I see as being likely. Boomburst / Extreme Speed / Fire Blast / Knock Off or Parting Shot is probably standard. A physically-based set that tries to clean with Tera Fairy Extreme Speed might also be quite viable, or alternatively bulky sets like Boomburst or Extreme Speed / Recover / Spikes / Knock Off that might enjoy using a defensive tera seem usable too. Defensive Tera Fairy for instance lets you take a Knock Off without worrying about hazards too much, neutralizes the Ground weakness, and boosts the power of Boomburst or Extreme Speed.

Speed:
We're quite slow, but fast enough to outspeed max speed Kingambit if we invest.

Attack stats:

I'm assuming Mild 4 Atk / 252 SpAtk / 252 Spe and a set of Boomburst / Extreme Speed / Fire Blast / Knock Off for this.

252+ SpA Pixilate Victini Boomburst vs. 252 HP / 216+ SpD Arghonaut: 372-438 (89.8 - 105.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO after 1 layer of Spikes

Defining Moves: Extreme Speed, Bitter Blade, Flare Blitz, Double-Edge, Strength Sap

So this is my take on a Physical spread. One of the biggest things that stands out to me about a Fire/Fairy in our current meta is, aside from the sheer amount of Pokemon that it hits for massive damage, its incredibly unique defensive profile that can be used to exploit a bunch of the meta's most defining threats. Being able to come in on Iron Valiant, Roaring Moon, Baxcalibur, Meowscarada, Kingambit, Dragapult, and having the ability to completely blank Jumbao is incredibly valuable at the moment, and I firmly believe that tapping into that potential would be a high boon for this project. Thus, I oriented my spread around being able to hit incredibly hard and safely come onto the field against a number of prominent Pokemon to not only offensively check them, but also to support its team and bring in its teammates.

63 HP allows CAP32 to heal right back to full against Timid Val, and also synergizes well with Bitter Blade, letting it maximize recovery against high-HO 'Mons like Corv, Bao, and Libra. Low HP is a really interesting route to go with this project because, not only does it allow CAP32 to ideally remain viable in spite of unremarkable stats, but also lets it take advantage of them.

123 Attack puts CAP32 at a benchmark where it can, with an Adamant nature, 3HKO Washtom with ESpeed, OHKO Ghold and 2HKO Corv with Bitter Blade, OHKO Equilibra with Flare Blitz, OHKO Offensive Tusk with Double-Edge, and be heavily favored to OHKO Bax and Chomp with ESpeed.

252+ Atk Pixilate CAP32 Double-Edge vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Great Tusk: 390-462 (105.1 - 124.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk CAP32 Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Equilibra: 426-504 (104.4 - 123.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk CAP32 Bitter Blade vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Gholdengo: 324-384 (102.8 - 121.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Pixilate CAP32 Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Garchomp: 348-410 (97.4 - 114.8%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO

252+ Atk Pixilate CAP32 Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Baxcalibur: 356-420 (95.9 - 113.2%) -- 75% chance to OHKO

252+ Atk CAP Bitter Blade vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Corviknight: 218-258 (54.6 - 64.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ Atk Pixilate Victini Extreme Speed vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Rotom-Wash: 114-135 (37.5 - 44.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

83 Defense lets CAP32 always take one +2 Kingambit Sucker Punch with five allies dead. It should go without saying that 63/83 bulk makes you incredible fragile on the physical side, especially with no bulk investment, but I couldn't afford to push it any higher without compromising other stats more than I'm comfortable with or giving up Bitter Blade. Investing in bulk can help assuage this, though, and since we're gonna be so naturally slow, it's probably in our best interest to do so anyway.

+2 252+ Atk Kingambit Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def CAP32: 150-177 (56.1 - 66.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

4 Atk Iron Valiant Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 208 Def CAP32: 75-89 (28 - 33.3%) -- 0% chance to 3HKO

53 Special Attack is a stat this spread never uses, so it's just there because why the hell not.

112 Special Defense lets us always live one uninvested Equilibra Earth Power, one Scarf Gholdengo Make it Rain, two Tera Fire Jumbao Tera Blasts, two Iron Valiant Moonblasts, two +1 offensive Volcarona Flamethrowers, , and two Tomohawk Hurricanes and one +2 Pyroak Earth Power with investment. Second to Attack, SpDef is by far our most important stat, letting us take advantage of our very solid matchup into tons of prominent Special Attackers that we can exploit the presence of to exert offensive pressure, lay hazards, heal off damage, or pivot to a teammate. Of course, we're by no stretch if the imagination iron-clad against these 'Mons, but this spread still lets us use them as feasible entry points. Being able to actually 1v1 Equilibra with this spread is probably the biggest draw in my opinion, always letting us almost always 2HKO one of our biggest targets without having to fear being destroyed by a massive super-effective Earth Power for our efforts.

252 SpA Tera Fire Jumbao Tera Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD CAP32 in Sun: 86-102 (32.2 - 38.2%) -- 96% chance to 3HKO

252 SpA Choice Specs Iron Valiant Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD CAP32: 99-117 (37 - 43.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

+2 252+ SpA Pyroak Earth Power vs. 0 HP / 164 SpD CAP32: 226-266 (84.6 - 99.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

61 Speed sets our matchups against Libra and Gambit in stone, letting us outrun and 2HKO Libra with relative ease and force Kingambit to Sucker Punch, letting us either ESpeed to block Sucker entirely or slam it for huge super-effective damage. While 61 Speed is incredibly low for an offensive Pokemon in the current meta, ESpeed essentially lets us ignore Speed tiers against everything except Dragonite and Fairy-resists like Gholdengo, Volcarona, Venom-E, and Iron Moth. Not to mention that other slow physical attackers (Scizor, Breloom, Kingambit) have succeeded this gen with worse priority moves to work and similar Speed tiers, so I don't think it's a reach to say that CAP32 make ESpeed work with similar Speed. Sure, it has to invest to outrun a bunch of walls, but it's nothing it shouldn't be able to manage.

(All calcs assume Adamant)

0 EVs outruns Libra
20 EVs outruns Snael
28 EVs outruns Venom
44 EVs outruns Dirge
52 EVs outruns Corv

I've said this in the discord, but please remember. The moves stage is coming soon, the defining moves aren't a shopping list to try to bypass that stage, but rather you should use them to justify why your spread is weaker than your competition. We'll figure out what moves actually get in the movepool when the moves stage happens.

Role: Physical or Physical Biased Mixed w/Boomburst
Required Moves: Extreme Speed, Flare Blitz, U-turn
Optional Moves: Boomburst, Knock Off, Taunt, Stealth Rock

Reworked my spread a little bit, most notably giving it ten more points of base Speed. Now it not only outspeeds Gholdengo instead of speed tying with it, but it also outspeeds Great Tusk, Rotom-Wash, Glimmora, Tomohawk, and Baxcalibur. Gave it more HP and Attack to survive Flare Blitz recoil and to maximize damage against physical walls. This did come at the cost of cutting the defenses down quite a bit, but increasing the HP balanced it out somewhat.

70 Special Attack is the minimum required value to allow CAP32 to still guarantee an OHKO with Boomburst on physically defensive Great Tusk, to get a chance at OHKOing Garchomp, and to get a chance at OHKOing Tomohawk with Stealth Rock up, all without any Special Attack investment:

0 SpA Pixilate Sylveon Boomburst vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Great Tusk: 444-524 (102.3 - 120.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Pixilate Sylveon Boomburst vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Garchomp: 306-362 (85.7 - 101.4%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO
0 SpA Pixilate Sylveon Boomburst vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Tomohawk: 324-384 (78.2 - 92.7%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

111 Attack notably gives CAP32 a small chance to OHKO Equilibra and Amoonguss with Flare Blitz if it has an Adamant nature, as well as 2HKOing Corviknight with Stealth Rock up, giving chances to OHKO Kingambit, and outright OHKOing Gholdengo. It also gives us a clean 2HKO on Arghonaut and Astrolotl, guarantees an OHKO on Baxcalibur if Stealth Rock is up, gives us a good chance to OHKO Colossoil if Stealth Rock is up, and lets us outright OHKO Iron Valiant and Dragapult:

88 HP and 66 in both defenses guarantees that we can survive at least two hits from anything Jumbao throws at us, even in Sun and with Terastallization, as long as it is not Life Orb, without the need for any defensive investment. It also turns Booster Energy Roaring Moon's Crunch max Supreme Overlord Kingambit's Sucker Punch into 3HKOs, and Astrolotl's Stomping Tantrum, Tomohawk's Hurricane, Specs Iron Valiant's Thunderbolt, and Specs Dragapult's Shadow Ball into guaranteed 2HKOes. Constraints based on access to Boomburst, Bitter Blade, Extreme Speed, Double-Edge, and (optionally) Knock Off

Justifications:

This is my idea of a Physically Biased Mixed spread. Looking at the potential we have from the incredible moves we've thrown around for CAP 32, I thought a really interesting way for it to stand out would be to make a spread that maximizes offensive versatility by giving CAP 32 avenues to go fully physical with Extreme Speed, fully special with Boomburst, or anywhere in between. This gives CAP 32 an element of surprise and makes it more customizable to the meta, with options to tap into either the utility of physical sets or the sheer power of special ones. The Speed is enough to outpace Great Tusk, Baxcalibur, Rotom-W, and Gholdengo, all of which we can then threaten out to generate pivoting opportunities.

I built my offensive stats based around the idea that Espeed and Boomburst are limiting factors for each other. Therefore, I strayed away from making CAP 32's physical sets exceptionally powerful; for example, it can't OHKO bulky attackers like Baxcalibur, Garchomp, or Kingambit outright, but Espeed can take out the former two with Tera Fairy, giving us a healthy opportunity cost if we want to maximize our revenge killing capabilities. Our spread has enough power to land crucial OHKOes on Dragapult, Iron Valiant, Colossoil (almost always), and Arghonaut, and 2HKO or nearly 2HKO tanky Pokemon that could otherwise threaten back like defensive Great Tusk and Rotom-W. We also have enough power for Bitter Blade to 2HKO bulky Steel-types hoping to switch into our Fairy-type moves.

Because our spread leans physical, I gave CAP 32 a Special Attack stat low enough to reflect that Boomburst is not the preeminent choice for us to run, but high enough to have serious wallbreaking potential. We have enough power for physically inclined mixed sets to take care of Dondozo, an otherwise problematic switchin, and dispose of Great Tusk with ease. At the same time, if one opts for maximum damage output with Choice Specs and Tera Fairy, CAP 32 becomes powerful enough to dent even bulky resists, breaking through them with entry hazard and Knock Off support supplied by itself or its teammates. Despite the scary potential of this strategy, the amount of support necessary keeps it balanced and preserves physical sets as a favorable option. I included the last calc to show that our Special Attack, while demonstrably low when not using Boomburst, is sufficient to always 2-tap standard Equilibra with our Fire move, even with the weakest reasonable option and a neutral nature.

My personal philosophy for CAP 32's defensive profile with our limited statline was that we should have the ability to live crucial hits from mons we want to offensively check with investment to enhance our pivoting if we expend the resources. The defensive stats I settled on perfectly embody that idea, as we need investment to reach the benchmarks necessary to avoid critical OHKOes or 2HKOes from Kingambit, Iron Valiant, Dragapult, Gholdengo, and Roaring Moon. Our raw stats do preserve the main defensive advantage of our typing, the ability to switch into Jumbao, as we are not 2HKOed by any unboosted hit from it. I chose a low HP stat because it synergizes well with Bitter Blade, helping to make up for our middling bulk by letting us recover more of our HP. As for the attacks we shouldn't survive (without unprecedented investment), the main things we see are super effective STAB hits from defensive Pokemon, especially Ground-types that we would threaten in return, and super effective coverage from offensive threats that we soft check otherwise, like Baxcalibur and Volcarona. This keeps us limited in what we can check before resorting to our Tera without being too frail to pivot around.

Not knocking anyone's specific spread, but there are a lot of spreads that are the same flavor of kinda bulky physical attacker with 80 to 89 Speed. These all kind of compete together and I cannot forsee a reason for us to slate a lot of similar spreads. I cannot speak for stats leader, but I would raise an eyebrow at a slate with more than one these style spreads that undershoots Great Tusk and Gholdengo and one that outspeeds them.

I think we have a lot more room to explore with spreads, including ones that focus on more equal Attack and Special Attack (like mine, but even faster or slower!), high Speed physical spreads, Krilowatt-creeping spreads, Defensive Tera-focused bulky spreads, etc.
