[SET COMMENTS]
Azumarill is a useful Pokemon on Water-type teams since it is able to ease matchups against Dragon-, Fighting-, and Dark-type teams thanks to its secondary Fairy-typing. However, Azumarill’s mediocre Speed makes it hard to utilize this set to sweep, and its mediocre bulk means it can get forced out easily, making Azumarill more fitted for the late-game where it can set up without fear of its checks. Aqua Jet is useful priority and is especially scary under rain, which allows Azumarill to OHKO faster Pokemon that would otherwise revenge kill it such as Zeraora, Rotom-H, and Magnezone but only after one Belly Drum. Play Rough is Azumarill’s main STAB move, allowing it to net 2HKOs on Clefable, as well as OHKOs on Keldeo and Chansey, but the latter two can only be OHKOed at +6. Knock Off allows Azumarill to remove useful items such as Eviolite from the likes of Chansey, Porygon2, Galarian Corsola, and Piloswine. An Adamant nature is preferred over a Jolly nature since the former can guarantee OHKOs on Appletun.

Azumarill’s best fit is on balance teams and offensive teams. Pelipper is a mandatory teammate for Azumarill and Water-type teams due to its ability to provide rain support which helps power up Azumarill’s Aqua Jet. Defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex help make up for Azumarill’s mediocre bulk, while Araquanid makes up for Azumarill’s low Speed by setting up Sticky Web, making Azumarill more scary. Entry hazard stackers such as Seismitoad and the aforementioned Toxapex can wear down Pokemon switching in so that Azumarill can easily take advantage of this and sweep late game. Because of Azumarill’s bulk, pivots such as Rotom-W are appreciated by it. Late game sweepers such as Cloyster and Barraskewda appreciate Azumarill removing checks to their sweep. Cloyster can also check Grass-types such as Whimsicott, Celebi, and Virizion. Azumarill also doesn’t want any obstacles that may hinder it during its sweep, so strong and hard-hitting wallbreakers such as Keldeo, Dracovish, and Kingdra make for good teammates.

[SET]
name: Perish Trap
move 1: Perish Song
move 2: Whirlpool
move 3: Rest
move 4: Protect
item: Leftovers
ability: Sap Sipper
nature: Calm
evs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]
This set utilizes Azumarill’s ability to trap and take advantage of this by putting them on a timer using Perish Song. Perish Song gives Azumarill the opportunity to KO Pokemon without the ability to pivot out as well as Choice-locked Pokemon. This works in conjunction with Whirlpool so that they’ll be trapped and guaranteeing the target wouldn’t be able to switch out, then Azumarill can use Perish Song to put them on a timer. Rest allows for Azumarill to stay extremely healthy so that it can continuously pull off the Whirlpool + Perish Song trick. Protect is used so that it can guarantee Leftovers recovery at the end of the turn, and so that Azumarill can scout for Choice-locked Pokemon to trap. Sap Sipper is the recommended ability so that it doesn’t need to worry about Grass-types preventing its trapping. The given EV spread along with a Calm nature allows Azumarill to maximize its special bulk to take on and trap fierce special attackers like Alakazam, Indeedee-M, Charizard, and Volcarona.

Azumarill’s best fit is on balance teams and stall teams. Seismitoad and Gastrodon make for excellent partners, since they are able to provide a useful Electric-type immunity. VoltTurn support from the likes of Rotom-W and Pelipper can bring in Azumarill to play safely. Late game sweepers such as Cloyster and Barraskewda appreciate Azumarill removing checks to their sweep. Checks to Ghost-types are appreciated by Azumarill, since they aren’t trapped by Whirlpool, so the aforementioned Barraskweda, as well as Crawdaunt make for good teammates. Lanturn makes for a decent teammate, as it is able to use Heal Bell to prevent Azumarill from becoming setup fodder through Rest. Keldeo makes for another good partner, as it is able to function as a good check to Lapras, which ignores Whirlpool thanks to Water Absorb. Since this set doesn’t utilize Azumarill’s mediocre physical bulk, Toxapex makes for a good partner, since it is able to provide the physical bulk Azumarill needs, and in return, Azumarill can remove the various Psychic-types that threaten Toxapex, such as Alakazam and Indeedee-M.

Aqua Jet is useful priority and is especially scary under rain, which allows Azumarill to OHKO faster Pokemon that would otherwise revenge kill it such as Zeraora, Rotom-H, and Magnezonebut only at +6(rather than saying +6, say after a Belly Drum). Play Rough is Azumarill’s main STAB move, Play Rough, allowing it to net 2HKOs on Clefable, as well as OHKOs on Keldeo, Tangrowth(don't mention tangrowth), and Chansey, but the latter two can only be OHKOed at +6. Knock Off allows Azumarill to remove useful items such as Eviolite from the likes of Chansey, Porygon2, Galarian Corsola, and Piloswine. An Adamant nature is preferred over a Jolly nature since the former can guarantee OHKOs on Tangrowth(don't mention Tangrowth, this is not OU, tangrowth has a hard time finding a place on Grass-type teams) and Appletun. According to previous analyses in SM featuring Azumarill, Jolly or Adamant were both mentioned.

Azumarill’s best fit is on balance teams(not necessarily, it can fit on offensive teams also). Pelipper is a mandatory teammate for Azumarill and Water-type teams due to its ability to provide rain support which helps power up Azumarill’s Aqua Jet. Defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex and Mantine (mantine is a better example for the perish song analysis) help make up for Azumarill’s mediocre bulk, while Araquanid makes up for Azumarill’s low Speed by setting up Sticky Web, making Azumarill more scary. Entry hazard stackers such as Seismitoad and the aforementioned Toxapex can wear down Pokemon switching in so that Azumarill can easily take advantage of this and sweep late game. Because of Azumarill’s bulk, pivots such as Rotom-W are appreciated by it. Mention Slowking, Kingdra, Keldeo, Cloyster, and Dracovish and clearly explain what they do.

I feel like Pokemon should be mentioned in its own sentence, especially if they play different roles. Like you have Toxapex and Araquanid in the same sentence and they play different roles and your lacking information. Water surprisingly has a nice variety of options and your missing some Pokemon that should be mentioned.

Protect is used so that it can guarantee Leftovers recovery at the end of the turn, and so that Azumarill can scout for Choice-locked Pokemon to trap. Sap Sipper is the recommended ability so that it doesn’t need to worry about Grass-types preventing its trapping. Why is running maximum HP and SpD optimal on this set?

Azumarill’s best fit is on balance teams(this sounds like the exact same line from the first section, stall is a place where this set fits on also). Seismitoad and Gastrodon make for excellent partners, since they are able to check the Electric-types that check this set.(just say they provide electric-type immunity) VoltTurn support from the likes of Rotom-W and Pelipper can bring in Azumarill to play safely. Late game sweepers such as Cloyster and Barraskewda appreciate Azumarill removing checks to their sweep.(this should have been mentioned in the first paragraph with the more offensive Azumarill set. But you need to state HOW cloyster helps the overall team, is it running whirlpool perish song too with rest??) Since Taunt users like Grimmsnarl and Mew can stop Azumarill from using Perish Song, checks to them such as Toxapex for the former and Mantine for the latter are appreciated. (Toxapex and Mantine to not check Stallbreaker Mew or Taunt) Checks to Ghost-types are appreciated by Azumarill, since they aren’t trapped by Whirlpool, so the aforementioned Barraskweda, as well as Crawdaunt make for good teammates.
Mention Lanturn, Mantine(here instead), Toxapex in its own sentence, Keldeo>Lapras, and you need to go in detail more on what these Pokemon do. like Lanturn would be useful for support its Rest set
