  • Hey! First off, thanks for your work on the teambuilder suggestions feature - very cool, will be great when it's part of Showdown proper. In the meantime, would you be able and willing to make updated teamdata-ou.js files for each month's new usage stats? I'm currently using a Python-based reimplementation of the algorithm because for whatever reason the test client doesn't work for me.

Yeah, I was planning to but the first half of this month has been unbelievably busy. Hopefully I'll get time to do it.

The data it uses doesn't actually change an unbelievable amount though.
Hey squashed, I just wanted to say great job on your teambuilder. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but read your info in the forums. Looking forward to trying it out and seeing how it develops!

If you pull this down, open testclient.html, and try to build a team (make sure to set it to OU) it will fill in with suggestions.

That's interactive and not that hard to set up, so it'll be much better than just having me generate it. Give it a shot, and if you have too much trouble with it, ask again and I'll get you your team.

And if you're wondering how it's going to develop... well, I just sent you the link to the beta version of integrating it with PS, so maybe that's how it'll go ;-). Zarel's still thinking about it though.

I hope Zarel is able to implement it because this is amazing.
Would you like me to move the posts regarding your tool into its own separate thread in the Projects subforum? Might be easier to develop / keep track of stuff that way.

I wouldn't mind. For some reason I didn't think it'd derail the thread quite so much.

Also, I was wondering if I could get a copy of one of your moveset reports (pref OU) with a longer checks & counters section. It looks like you cut them off at the top 12, which makes sense when a human is reading it, but not a robot.

Big fan of the stats you publish, by the way.
