RU zygarde-10%

Zygarde-10% @ Choice Band
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Thousand Arrows
- Outrage
- Extreme Speed
- Superpower / Toxic

With Gligar and Chesnaught's rise to stardom in UU, Zygarde-10% has everyone down in RU scrambling for checks as the metagame lost two reliable, and in Gligar's case, very splashable answers to its Choice Band set. The spammable nature of Thousand Arrows makes it a pain to deal with on both offense and balance, while Outrage's raw power lets it 2HKO most Ground resists such as Shaymin and Torterra as well as defensive titans such as Mandibuzz and Milotic. As such, many surprising new answers have sprung up to beat Zygarde-10%, including Pokemon like Slowbro, Tangela, Donphan, and Uxie, all previously considered niche or outright unviable, and old counters like Cresselia and Porygon2. As such, teammates that can break these new counters, such as Poisonium Z Toxicroak and Mismagius, make excellent wallbreaking cores with Zygarde-10%. Overall, despite the recent surge in answers to Zygarde-10%, it is still an extremely threatening and influential Pokemon that every team should account for.

Gligar and Chesnaught's rise to stardom in UU left everyone down in RU scrambling for checks to Zygarde-10%; both were reliable, and in Gligar's case, very splashable answers to its Choice Band set. The spammable nature of Thousand Arrows makes it a pain to deal with on offense and balance, while Outrage's raw power can 2HKO most Ground resists such as Shaymin(move Torterra here since it gets 2hkoed by Outrage) and defensive titans such as Mandibuzz and Milotic. As such, many surprising new answers have sprung up to beat Zygarde-10%, Pokemon like Slowbro, Tangela, Torterra,(replace Torterra with Donphan) and Uxie, all previously considered niche or outright unviable, and the same old counters like Cresselia and Porygon2. As such, teammates that can break these new counters, such as Poisonium Z Toxicroak, and Mismagius make excellent wallbreaking cores. Overall, despite the recent surge in answers to Zygarde-10%, it is still an extremely threatening and influential Pokemon that every team should account for.

With Gligar and Chesnaught's rise to stardom in UU,(AC) Zygarde-10% has left everyone down in RU scrambling for checks as the metagame lost two to Zygarde-10%; both were reliable, and in Gligar's case, very splashable answers to its Choice Band set. (this sentence is odd because the focus is on Gligar and Chesnaught, but the rest of the paragraph is about Zygarde. So I've rearranged some phrasing.) The spammable nature of Thousand Arrows makes it a pain to deal with on both offense and balance, while Outrage's raw power can lets it (it's not the power that 2HKOes, it's Outrage) 2HKO most Ground resists such as Shaymin and Torterra,(RC) as well as defensive titans such as Mandibuzz and Milotic. As such, many surprising new answers have sprung up to beat Zygarde-10%, including Pokemon like Slowbro, Tangela, Donphan, and Uxie, all previously considered niche or outright unviable, and the same old counters like Cresselia and Porygon2. As such, teammates that can break these new counters, such as Poisonium Z Toxicroak,(RC) and Mismagius,(AC) make excellent wallbreaking cores with Zygarde-10%.
