What do you spend the most spare time doing outside of gaming/forums?

I spend a lot of time listening to music. Almost 24/7. As, besides games, music is my life. Other than music however, I am a big outdoors person, usually playing American Football with my friends on the weekends, hanging out with those friends, and going to movies etc.

Mostly all I do is music, Pokemon, and Smash though.

Acklow

I am always tired. Don't bother me.
I wanted to study Russian at my new university but couldn't fit it into my degree with all the math and stat.
GET ON THAT ALICE. I would love to talk w/you in Russian sometime. ^.^

So my life consists of quite a few things:

Currently I am studying at Metropolitan State University with a major in Secondary English Education and a minor in ESL. I am going through their Urban Education program, which offers a lot of classes on multiculturalism in the classroom. It's nice since it offers a perspective on the dealings within American city schools that often times teachers are not usually prepared to handle. Though I probably won't be using the degree here in the states, as I would like to work abroad teaching English and Russian, given the chance. This takes up most of my time.

I also am working a part-time job as a cashier at a local Whole Foods (which isn't all that local since it's about a 30 minute drive with minimal traffic). I am loving working there mostly because of how relaxed the environment is. The people that work there are awesome and very nerdy. I made friends with a guy there who's a studying at the same Uni as me (but he wants to be a cop) and he's a total weeb and a socialist at that (altho I don't agree w/him politically since I'm economically conservative and socially libertarian). Retail usually has negative connotations associated with it, but I love it. I guess I'm really a people-person, because I can smile all day long and help people w/their groceries as I ring it all up. My only issue is sometimes I feel like I burn out a little, but that's cuz I put so much effort into making people happy whenever they go through my register. Also the food there is amazing. I personally am not transitioning to a vegan diet, but I am slowly working my way into one as that's the only diet my parents follow now (and it's a low-glycemic, sugar, rice, wheat, and soy-free diet at that). But the vegan options they offer at the store are fantastic, and my employee discount makes up for the high costs.

Other than work and school, I usually spend a lot of time reading Manga. A lot of manga. I have roughly 100 (maybe more?) ongoing manga that I am keeping up with, so I always have content that I can read. I also enjoy watching movies and visiting local museums (the Minnesota Institute of Art is one of the greatest spots to visit in downtown Minneapolis). I'm a tea guru and I love drinking a wide variety of teas. I have removed quite a few brands of teas from my list that I drink, due to the fact that they are not regulated in pesticide use and many of those teas still contain pesticides in the leaves after being contained in the bags (Celestial, Lipton, Teavana, and Tazo teas are all criminal to this charge). I also occasionally draw stuff on my tablet, which I usually post said drawings in my thread here on Smogon and on DeviantArt. Otherwise I just play games.

tfw no gf guys...~~~~~ ;__________;

Hmm, let's see.

50% of my spare time is delegated for my girlfriend.

I spend about 35% of my "spare" time doing things for work. For those who don't know, I'm a high school Mathematics Teacher. I started teaching AP Calculus this year, so I've had to spend a ton of time prepping for that. And my curriculum last year I thought was too juvenile for my PreCalculus course, so I'm redoing that as well.

The other 15% when I'm not gaming is just relaxing and unwinding from work.

Oh, and I guess going to the gym and playing tennis fit in there as well

I tend to spend way too much time playing games or being on forums since I'm an anti-social person, so I'm trying to get out of the house more.

Normally when I'm not being a bum and waiting for something to read, I'm running errands for my parents, driving a family friend's son to and from school (she's a single mom and I get paid for it, yay), editing TV Tropes pages, watching Kingdom Hearts speedruns (or other speedruns on the GDQ archive), or just watching random stuff on YouTube (largely Let's Plays such as Game Grumps).

When I actually socialize with people, it's usually playing Pathfinder or very simple homebrew tabletop games at school.

Outside of gaming I'm doing homework/studying (that College struggle).

I also go to the gym usually once a day. Weekends I'm generally hanging out with friends and watching movies or going out/partying somewhere. If I'm alone and not gaming I find something to watch on Netflix or watch anime/read manga.

I don't actually game all too much. I barely have time for pokemon. I have school, work, my girlfriend, writing, and sometimes friends taking up the majority of my time. Most of the time I'm on smogon I'm on mobile.

Well most of my time i spend outside at the park with my son and girlfriend or working. He loves to be outside so we are always out and about doing something. Gaming i mostly play pokemon games or the legend of zelda and with my friends we get a group of us every so often and play madden or kill Zombies on Black ops.

australia is a drain on the mind, spirit, and motivation
but i still
cook
go to uni
read occasionally
watch the odd film which i have researched and am reasonably certain is going to be good
watch some occasional tv with my room mates (live with 2 good friends)
play games, frequently, but irregularly, depends if i have something which i am addicted to. playing diablo 3 atm but it used to be hearthstone & dota primarily
enjoying frisbee a lot now, just for some casual exercise
trying to keep up with morning stretching for my (kinda) bad lower back and general flexibility (i could not touch my toes for 20+ years, with a few weeks of stretching, i now can!)
i really like beer. and not even because it gets me drunk, although that is a plus, but i genuinely like craft beer for the taste. australia's craft beer scene really is not as good as the U.S's, but it's not too bad, i guess. there's this really cool bar called 'the scratch' which rotates their menu daily, and has happy hour on all weekdays from 4-6 pm.
for someone who studies writing i don't really write, i do have two things published though, but they were adapted academic projects
and as the last emperor of the qing dynasty i like to castrate eunuchs in my spare time outside of gaming forums

um I work between 40 and 80 hours a week and am in high school, so I don't really have much free time. I try to work out at least 3 times a week, other than that I skydive (gonna get licensed soon but it's really pricy), scuba, swim, and hunt. I'm just learning how to shoot a traditional bow because it's a lot more fun hunting wth one of those than a rifle, but it is a lot harder than it looks lol. I also hang out with my friends a fair bit, I have a tight group of 5 that I always drink and smoke with, but I don't have a lot of time for the atm because I put work first. I don't really do anything else, besides mons ;-;

Since this thread is quite popular, I'll give it a go. I'm currently in University studying finance, so most of my time is allocated towards going to class, studying, and University-related clubs and networking events that directly help with my degree. I spent a lot of time in something called the 'Accessibility Committee,' where a team of students and I attempt to make the University campus more accessible to those with mental and physical disabilities. We've done things like raise funds for the construction of ramps for every building on campus, as well as lobby for the hiring of more social workers, as to reduce the ridiculous wait time (like 2 weeks) for students in need of those services. I also got elected by my floor to be their representative (I live on campus) to the residence's council. In that role, I do things like plan floor-wide events, raise concerns from my floor to council and try to find a solution, as well as debate on policy that affects all of residence.

Although my time to play them has become limited due to real life, I'm also a big fan of strategy video games such as world of tanks, world of warships, Alien Isolation (fucking amazing game, highly recommend), and Pokemon (which I consider a strategy game). I started playing world of tanks since 2011, and have been playing since. On their forums, I am well known and Wargaming, as a result, has labelled me a community contributor. However, I'm also quite controversial, as I frequently call out Wargaming out on their bullshit, which I'm not allowed to do as a contributor. For example...

http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/topic/447888-why-artillery-sucks-–-by-a-good-player/ (this was fun)
http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/topic/488627-wg-customer-service-what-a-joke/#topmost (more fun)

Outside of school, clubs and games, I love Tennis, Swimming, Biking, and teaching, and am currently employed as a swim instructor at my city's public recreation center. I've always enjoyed teaching and helping others attain a better status of being (the goal of teaching, ultimately), so I always jump on any instructing opportunity that arises. I also try and spend time with friends, but my life in the past year has been very busy, so sadly I haven't been able to chill with them as much as would have otherwise.

Alright so I guess I will go. So outside of mons basically what I do is I spend a lot of time on my homework due to the program I have setup for myself in my high school. I spend most of my school days and weekend doing homework or trying to work my ass off at work too so I can raise the money I need to get into my first college of choice. (I have three jobs) My friends and me do try to hang out during the week and every time its a relief when I see them. I enjoy Hiking, Soccer, Football, Track, and Skiing and spend a lot of my free time doing that. In my free time I have left when said sports are in off season I am either lifting with the football team or practicing for the soccer team before summer. (I play for another team thats not school) Aside from that I play mons when I can and I also play card and strategy games like Chess and Hearthstone, while playing a variety of FPS. Just a little bit of a look into my life.

i think i spend a bit too much time on mons, but i actually somewhat have a life outside of it. i'm a freshman in high school (IB program) that currently has the highest GPA in the grade so i'm really trying to keep that up. i'm in a few clubs after school like math society, engineering, honor's chorus, debate and i recently won a 'show what you know' competition. i'm planning to try out for football next year which may mean not as much mons anymore D: not sure on what college i'm going to but it shouldn't be difficult to get in given my current achievements and stuff.
i play other games like smash and btd but i dont really play many other ones. when i'm not playing mons i'm singing and when i'm not singing i'm probably doing homework. (also been to college 3 times back in middle school for science if that's any relevant)

Banned deucer.
Many people know that I'm seriously ill, to the point of getting surgery, so during my days, I sit in my room, either exercising at the hospital gym or doing schoolwork or something.

Before I was diagnosed, I played Track, Wrestling, and Muay Thai for a scholarship. What sucks was that I was accepted into Harvard University a few months ago, and now this happens. Nothing much to do since every day some doctor is giving me a shot or a pill.

Working an alright job and constantly thinking of where I'll be / what I'll be doing in the next year or so.

man reading this makes me realize that i do basically nothing outside of video games / PS / smogon x_x
i listen to music on occasion (no specific genre, just a mix of all sorts of things) and do schoolwork and that's basically my whole life. i play tennis too but only when i've got the time (during the season during the school year or summer).
everyone's telling to to watch this and that in terms of tv or anime, but i can never make time to watch anything that isn't YouTube (which is basically video gamers or other comedy stuff). oh well.

10 years ago, before I needed medication for this damn medical condition (in which there's no sign of recovery after these 10 years), I had excellent scores in exams.
I had scholarships and stuff, and was accepted into many great universities. Including vet school.

But people have to remind me that I will never be as clever as what I once was.

I still don't have a degree and I have been achieving close to nothing within these 10 years.

So I understand that you are disappointed. I too, am very disappointed towards myself.

as i'm on summer break now, i've finally had time to read. here are the books i've read in the last week or so. i had especially high hopes for the marcia clark book given that i recently finished watching the people v oj simpson. it was a decent read at best though, kinda disappointing. all the light we cannot see was one of the most fabulous pieces of historical fiction i've read in recent memory, so definitely look into that if you're a fan of that line of literature. i already raved about it to pluff so i'll save it.

as i mentioned watching television, i'm a pretty big fan of most forms of visual media. atm i'm pretty consumed with anime (watching 9 shows this ssn w. boku no hero/kiznaiver being the favorites), but during the school yr i mostly watched tele fsr. how to get away w. murder was my obsession of the spring for sure.

also i'm a pretty huge fan of reading poetry in general. my own isn't really up to snuff to post, but it's Getting There.

working a secretary-esque job this summer for some pocket change since i graduate next semester and will prob take a gap yr-- wanna travel abroad or something. idk yet, still planning the dets.

oh yea i forgot to mention i discovered this korean group on youtube called 1 million which is a south korean choreography studio. i've been obsessing over them for the last couple of weeks and have managed to watch almost every video. here are my personal favorites and i reallllllly love lia kim and hyojin choi.

I got a job at Door Dash, which is basically Uber for food delivery. I've been enjoying it since I like to drive, and it pays decently enough (especially when I get huge tips).
