Moves
========

Foremost, Stealth Rock is a threatening entry hazard that pressures the opposing team and punishes excessive switching. Earthquake is a powerful STAB attack that can consistently do damage to a variety of targets. Explosion is a powerful one-time attack that can be used to block Defog or eliminate a significant offensive threat early-game and is especially useful on this set for maintaining momentum. Swords Dance can be used to allow Landorus-T to pressure bulkier Pokemon such as Clefable, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor while allowing it to set up Stealth Rock versus Mega Sableye teams. Alternatively, Hidden Power Ice can be used to allow Landorus-T to pressure opposing Landorus-T and Defog Gliscor in order to gain the hazard advantage without having to use Explosion.

Set Details
========

252 Attack and Speed EVs with a Jolly nature maximize Landorus-T's Speed, allowing it to set up Stealth Rock before many foes can move and also ensuring that Explosion deals as much damage as possible. Alternatively, a Naive nature can be used to increase the damage output from Hidden Power Ice so that Defog Gliscor can't stall Landorus-T out. This set elects to run a Focus Sash in order to guarantee that Landorus-T can survive any attack and set up Stealth Rock in matchups versus offensive Pokemon. However, a Normal Gem can be used instead if this set isn't used as a dedicated lead for a significantly stronger Explosion, being able to OHKO Gliscor and defensive Rotom-W among other targets that don't normally get OHKOed by Explosion.

Usage Tips
========

This set is fairly straightforward to use, as it's a suicide lead. Landorus-T will almost always be used as a lead unless there's a Mega Sableye on the opposing team or a Pokemon that otherwise prevents Landorus-T from setting up Stealth Rock at the start of the match. After being sent out, Landorus-T should set up Stealth Rock immediately unless there's a significant threat that can be eliminated instead. Swords Dance should be used when facing bulkier Pokemon such as Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn, and Clefable in order to pressure them and wallbreak for teammates. This is especially useful versus Mega Scizor because it assists you in keeping Stealth Rock up. After setting up Stealth Rock, click Explosion if you are facing a slower hazard remover that you cannot otherwise KO, letting you keep your Stealth Rock up and get significant damage off. However, it should be noted that you should not use Explosion recklessly otherwise, as Landorus-T can only use it once, and using it in conjunction with Swords Dance can be an effective way to entirely eliminate even bulkier Pokemon.

Team Options
========

Suicide lead Landorus-T fits onto hyper offensive teams due to the momentum and pressure on Defoggers that it provides. Sticky Web offense with Araquanid and Aurora Veil teams appreciate the entry hazard support that Landorus-T can provide due to it complementing the late-game sweepers that those teams usually possess. Late-game cleaners such as Dragon Dance Zygarde, Blacephalon, and Kartana appreciate Landorus-T's ability to weaken bulkier Pokemon early-game. Additionally, offensive Pokemon that appreciate Landorus-T's ability to lure Tapu Bulu such as Tapu Koko and Zygarde make excellent teammates.

Banned deucer.
this set should have sd instead of hp ice which actually pressures mons (immediate examples that come to mind are ferro and celes) instead of having redundant moveslot usage (explosion beats gliscor regardless) sd has been significantly more useful for me instead of hp ice.

a +2 explosion will also keep max/max def skarm out of sturdy range even if it roosts on the explosion, this is crucial because you prevent emergency defogs coming from it when your next mon comes in because it doesn't have sturdys safety net anymore

Have to agree with p2 on this one. It's not like opposing Landos 100% wall you anyway considering you can still SD + Explode on them, while also blocking Defog from Gliscor so no need to HP Ice it. Without SD, you can't really pressure shit like Clef and are basically forced to immediately boom on it after you set rocks to do any significant damage to it. Same with Ferro. SD Boom is also just a really strong nuke move in general that punishes basically anything, even Steel types like Celesteela which otherwise just takes very little from an unboosted boom or forces Lando out completely.

But yeah, I would just remove HP Ice entirely. Never really found myself ever using any other Sash Lando other than SD Boom, and haven't really seen much use of it elsewhere either. Obviously make sure to change the nature to Jolly to reflect this, as well as incorporate SD into the usage tips.

put hp ice in moves as an alternative -- it's still so fucking helpful on landot in general, but odds are it won't be very useful on this set given how it is used, so it should not be priority (straight up removing is not necessary tho fuck gary).

--

mention normal gem in set details (not worth a backslash as well) because it helps bolster the damage of your inevitable explosion -- it's not prioritized over sash bc sash makes it a real lead, but you can play it a bit more loosely and get away w normal gem almost always while doing more damage. i used this on veil recently with great success

--

"After setting up Stealth Rock, click Explosion at the first opportunity in order to block potential Defoggers from removing your entry hazards unless you can net large damage or a KO with Earthquake or Hidden Power Ice prior."

rephrase this to: "After setting up Stealth Rock, click Explosion if you are facing a slower hazard remover that you cannot otherwise kill, letting you keep your Stealth Rock up and get significant damage off. However, it should be noted that you should not use your Explosion recklessly otherwise as you can only use it once, of course" imo

add gary's shit, then add my shit, then 2/3

I think this looks fine as it is. I would just change this "Foremost, Stealth Rock the focal point of this set," this is just another way of saying "crux of the set." You could mention if there are any specific OHKOs you'd gain by opting to use Normal Gem.

With that I think you should be good. QC 3/3

Foremost, Stealth Rock is a threatening entry hazard that pressures the opposing team and punishes excessive switching. Earthquake is a powerful STAB attack that can consistently do damage to a variety of targets. Explosion is a useful nuke one-time attack (Nuke is a bit too casual. Could use an alternative word as well if you want) that can be used to block Defog or eliminate a significant offensive threat in the early-game (AH) and is especially useful on this set because of it for maintaining momentum. Finally, (Not final if you're going to talk about Hidden Power Ice after) Swords Dance can be used to allow Landorus-T to pressure bulkier Pokemon such as Clefable, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor while allowing it to set up Stealth Rock vs versus Mega Sableye teams. Alternatively, Hidden Power Ice can be used to allow Landorus-T to pressure opposing Landorus-T and Defog Gliscor in order to gain the hazard advantage without having to use Explosion.

Sticky Web offense with Araquanid and Aurora Veil teams appreciate the entry hazard support that Landorus-T can provide in particular (What's particular? The support or the teams? Might want to rephrase to be clear). Late-game (AH) cleaners such as Dragon Dance Zygarde, Blacephalon, and Kartana appreciate Landorus-T's ability to weaken bulkier Pokemon in the early-game (AH).
