That's right, folks: we've got a tiebreaker on our hands.
There are currently 8 players tied for 31st place, which means we'll be using a standard bracket to determine our final 32 players for the playoffs. The bracket, determined by the players' w%, is:
Note: this tiebreaker is for qualification for the Slam III playoffs only, NOT seeding within the playoffs. WE WILL NOT BE PLAYING THE FINAL ROUND OF THIS BRACKET. The top two players from this tiebreaker will advance, and their seeding in playoffs will be determined by their pre-tiebreaker w%.
All standard Slam III rules apply in this tiebreaker. Schedule publicly, post your replays, and abide by the general Smogon tournament rules and guidelines.
As directed previously, the players have already submitted their ranked Opens. As a reminder, the higher seed (see bracket, above) will pick from among the 5 Opens for game 1, and loser picks afterward; if the Open chosen contains multiple formats, the choosing player picks the format, and the Open cannot be chosen from again. The first player to 3 wins advances to the next round.
