Latias @ Scope Lens
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Mist Ball
- Dragon Cheer
- Tailwind

Latias dons a funky pair of glasses to crush its enemies in Partners in Crime (a.k.a PiC), the doubles format where moves and abilities are shared between partners! Latias combines both supportive and offensive prowess with this set, being able to both buff its team with Tailwind and launch strong Draco Meteors that always crit once a partner has used Dragon Cheer on it. Tera Steel provides Latias with a good defensive typing vs Pokemon like Chien-Pao and Raging Bolt. Latias works best on special-oriented offense, as these teams can provide Latias with opportunities to set up a Dragon Cheer and in turn appreciate speed control that can also be threatening offensively. Gholdengo is the best partner for Latias, as it allows Latias to use strong Tera Steel-boosted Make It Rains that always land a critical hit. Furthermore, Gholdengo can give Latias reliable recovery, setup in Nasty Plot, and an immunity to Spore and Taunt thanks to Good as Gold. Offensive threats such as Landorus and Heatran appreciate Latias’s ability to set Tailwind, letting them outspeed threats like Chien-Pao and Deoxys-A. Ground-weak teammates such as Volcanion and Iron Hands can also benefit from Levitate allowing them to attack Pokemon like Landorus and Landorus-T safely.

Latias dons a funky pair of glasses to crush opponents in PiC, combining both supportive and offensive prowess with this set, being able to both buff its team with Tailwind and boast strong Draco Meteors that always crit once a partner has used Dragon Cheer on it. Mist Ball is a perfect second STAB option as it helps Latios hit Amoonguss and Iron Hands. Tera Steel provides Latias with a good defensive typing vs Pokemon like Chien-Pao, Kingambit, and Gholdengo and Raging Bolt (Offensive Lati does not handle either of these pokemon well, especially not Kingambit where a mistimed Mist Ball Spa drop ruins your day and Gholdengo can easily tank either attack). Latias works well on many teamstyles, but fits best on bulky special-oriented offense as it can provide Latias with opportunities to set up a Dragon Cheer as well as appreciating speed control that can also be threatening offensively. Iron Hands makes for a good partner to Latias as it threatens the Dark- and Steel- type foes such as Incineroar, Chien Pao, and Kingambit that Latias struggles with, as well as helping against Trick Room teams. In return, Latias threatens Landorus and Amoonguss for Iron Hands. Offensive threats such as Gholdengo, Landorus, and Ogerpon-H Heatran appreciate Latias’s ability to set Tailwind, letting them outspeed threats like Chien Pao and Deoxys-A. (Gholdengo needs to be first mention here, Tera steel Make it rains that always crit hurt a lot and is the primary reason why Latias has that tera type while also functioning as a Dragon resist itself.) Ground-weak teammates such as Volcanion and Incineroar can also benefit from Levitate allowing them to beat Pokemon like Landorus and Landorus-T. (I wouldn't exactly say beat and have incin in the same sentence).
Would like to see this after you're done with this before I give a stamp (also tag us next time)

Gholdengo is the best partner for Latias as it allows Latias to use strong Make It Rains that always land a critical hit, ignoring the Special Attack drop and (Might be fluff as well) being further boosted by Tera Steel. Furthermore, Gholdengo can give Latias reliable recovery, setup in Nasty Plot, and an immunity to Spore and Taunt thanks to Good as Gold. (Iron Hands should be moved down a peg in terms of being a notable teammate for Latis. I understand it can be used well with it but the synergy with Ghold is more important.) Offensive threats such as Gholdengo, Landorus, and Heatran appreciate Latias’s ability to set Tailwind, letting them outspeed threats like Chien Pao and Deoxys-A. Latias dons a funky pair of glasses to crush opponents enemies in PiC, (idk if you need to write it out first instance) the doubles format where moves and abilities are shared between partners. Latias combines both supportive and offensive prowess with this set, being able to both buff its team with Tailwind and boast launch strong Draco Meteors that always crit once a partner has used Dragon Cheer on it. Tera Steel provides Latias with a good defensive typing vs Pokemon like Chien-Pao and Raging Bolt. Latias works best on special-oriented offense, (AC) as it these teams can provide Latias with opportunities to set up a Dragon Cheer as well as appreciating and in turn appreciate speed control that can also be threatening offensively. Gholdengo is the best partner for Latias, (AC) as it allows Latias to use strong Tera Steel-boosted Make It Rains that always land a critical hit, and being further boosted by Tera Steel. Furthermore, Gholdengo can give Latias reliable recovery, setup in Nasty Plot, and an immunity to Spore and Taunt thanks to Good as Gold. Offensive threats such as Landorus and Heatran appreciate Latias’s ability to set Tailwind, letting them outspeed threats like Chien-Pao (AH) and Deoxys-A. Ground-weak teammates such as Volcanion and Iron Hands can also benefit from Levitate allowing them to attack Pokemon like Landorus and Landorus-T safely.
