Its resistance to Fairy is valuable against foes like Iron Valiant and Enamorus, and it can check offensive threats like Gholdengo and Rillaboom as well. Tera Blast Dragon allows Volcarona to hit its would-be checks like Gouging Fire, Dragonite, and Raging Bolt. In addition, Tera Dragon defensively helps Volcarona against the likes of Ogerpon-W and Heatran. The given EVs make sure Volcarona outspeeds Great Tusk, while the rest is dumped into Defense. Teammates like Kyurem and Dragapult appreciate Volcarona checking Iron Valiant and threatening foes like Kingambit. Specially defensive walls like Clodsire, Blissey, and Galarian Slowking can easily shut Volcarona down, so it is very helpful to have physical attackers like Kingambit, Weavile, and Roaring Moon to pressure them.

Tera Blast Dragon allows Volcarona to hit its would-be checks like Gouging Fire, Dragonite, and Raging Bolt. On the other hand, Tera Dragon defensively helps Volcarona fight against the likes of Ogerpon-W and Tera Dragon Dondozo. (Not a dex set and Bug Buzz would still break through. Something like Heatran or Cinderace could be a better mention) The given EVs make sure Volcarona outspeed Great Tusk and survive Stealth Rock damage twice if it loses Heavy-Duty Boots, (You can remove this part. We dont really explain these in analysis but unsure if it needs to be extra clarified for social media. Will let you decide) while the rest is dumped into Defense. Teammates like Kyurem and Dragapult appreciate Volcarona checking Iron Valiant and threatening foes like Kingambit. Specially defensive walls like Clodsire, Blissey, and Galarian Slowking can easily shut Volcarona down, so it is very helpful to have partners like Weavile and Roaring Moon to pressure them. (Just making reference these are physical attackers that threaten them on well, their weaker physical side would be good)
