SM OU Narciso Anasui Will Never Score (Mega Gallade Bulky Offense)

*enters with a bad powerpoint animation effect* hello
here's a team i threw together in 10 minutes for my very problematic fave
that's about it

---

Gallade-Mega @ Galladite
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Drain Punch
- Zen Headbutt
- Knock Off
---
Gallade is a ridiculously fun Mega to mess around with, especially if you can get a Swords Dance off. Not a lot stops this thing, and it can completely dismantle teams with it's STAB combo of Drain Punch (Or Close Combat, if you want to play a bit more recklessly) and Zen Headbutt paired with a great coverage move in Knock Off.
---

Tapu Lele @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Psychic Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Moonblast
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Focus Blast
---
This team pretty much relies on Psychic Terrain to set up properly. Priority poses a pretty big threat to this team, so Lele completely takes it out of the equation. It's main STAB, Psychic, is also boosted by Psychic Terrain, allowing it to revenge kill. Moonblast is good secondary STAB, while HP Fire and Focus Blast round off it's coverage nicely.
---

Greninja-Ash @ Choice Specs
Ability: Battle Bond
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Dark Pulse
- Water Shuriken
- Ice Beam
---
Ash-Greninja is a very potent sweeper in the OU metagame and Specs only makes it better. Hydro Pump does ridiculous amounts of damage towards even neutral targets. Ice Beam is great coverage, while Dark Pulse is a good secondary STAB with a chance to flinch as is Water Shuriken, which is essentially a 90 Base Power attack. (counting STAB)
---

Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 24 SpD / 16 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- U-turn

---
Landorus-T is one of the best SR setters in the metagame, with amazing defensive typing that gives it two immunities and good physical bulk because of Intimidate alongside a slow U-Turn for good momentum. Earthquake deals good damage even with no Attack investment, and HP Ice is alright for coverage against what resists it's STAB.

Celesteela @ Life Orb
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 84 HP / 252 SpA / 172 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Autotomize
- Air Slash
- Fire Blast
- Giga Drain

---
Offensive Celesteela is pretty great as a sweeper because of Automotize, allowing it to outpace a good portion of the metagame with a single boost, and Beast Boost, as it can snowball it's already good Special Attack even higher. Air Slash is the go-to STAB move with a chance to flinch while Fire Blast takes down opposing Steel types and Giga Drain is an alright recovery move that covers bulky Water, Ground and Rock types
---

Latios @ Soul Dew
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 1 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Defog

---
This team either doesn't care about entry hazards too much,(Landorus, Gallade, Celesteela) or HATES the residual damage,(Greninja, Tapu Lele) so Offensive Defog Latios fits pretty well on this team. Soul Dew gives it's STAB moves a solid 1.2x boost alongside the 1.5x boost from STAB, and HP Fire covers Steel types pretty well.

hello man, interesting team you have here, i really like mega Gallade in this moment of the metagame, i would use Close Combat over Drain punch on lade because it ensures more fire power w/o using SD, also, since you are very very weak to Tapu lele i'd suggest you to use defensive Celesteela over the offensive variant , this change makes your team really better because defensive Celesteela is a very good answer for the aforementioned pokèmon and for others special attackers likes of mega Alakazam, and greninja.
Since your team is really weak to wallbreakers likes of
tapu Koko and volcarona i'd use scarf protean greninja over gren-ash , thanks to Gunk shot and Rock slide it can easily revenge kill the aforementioned pokemons while with U-turn it can bring momentum for Gallade.

After this change, i'd recommed using
Offensive flynium z landorus which is very cool against fatter builds, with Smack down it can easily break past defensive walls likes zap, skarmory and celesteela and z-fly allows Landorus to hit hard opposite landorus and some grass types like Tangrowth, mega Venusaur and Bulu, and water type like Tapu Fini, a jolly nature should be used as it allows Landorus to outspeed the common 291 speed Mews and some dd Zygarde variants.

Celesteela @ Leftovers
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 132 Def / 124 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Leech Seed
- Protect
- Heavy Slam
- Flamethrower

Greninja @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Rock Slide
- Ice Beam
- Gunk Shot
- U-turn

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fly
- Smack Down
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock

Hope i've helped man! :toast:

Nice to know someone else here likes Jojo, shame it's the weakest part in the series.
I'm sorry, what? I'm supposed to rate a team? Okay then.

Anyways, looking at your team, I'd have to agree with Sun. Volcarona and Tapu Koko would destroy this team easily (trust me, I use the former myself.)

Alongside Sun's suggestions, I would also recommend that you remove HP-Fire on Latios, as you already have numerous answers to Steel Types (Lando-T, Mega Gallade, Focus Blast on Tapu Lele, Fire Blast on Celesteela (though you should still switch it out for the Defensive variant)) so you have a move slot freed up for another coverage move on Latios. Whichever one it is, I leave up to you.
