OU Mega Scizor (Curse)

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 248 HP / 244 Def / 16 SpD
Impish Nature
- Curse
- Bullet Punch
- Knock Off / U-turn
- Roost

Mega Scizor saw a slight dip in usage back in April, but it has since worked its way back up to the top with the discovery of its Curse set, which lets it wall Pokemon such as Zygarde comfortably. Mega Scizor has an amazing defensive typing in Bug / Steel that, coupled with its amazing bulk and access to reliable recovery, makes it a reliable wall to Pokemon such as Zygarde, Mamoswine, and Tapu Bulu and lets it set up on common Pokemon such as Clefable and Gliscor. Mega Scizor has a rather lacking Speed stat that only gets worse with the use of Curse, but Bullet Punch somewhat makes up for it, letting Mega Scizor outprioritize and handle faster Pokemon such as Tornadus-T and Tapu Koko. Its access to Knock Off lets it cripple usual switch-ins such as Leftovers Heatran, Celesteela, and Toxapex. Mega Scizor struggles with Fire-types such as Heatran but can take on Grass- and Ice-types, which makes Zygarde an oustanding partner.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen7ou-384113 In this replay, Energy's Mega Scizor can be seen often pivoting into Gliscor and Tangrowth, and in the end it takes the win with a timely critical hit against Bro Fist's own Mega Scizor.

I feel like enough Tran's are running around with Z that it would be good to mention non Z trans (word that better if you like) when talking about stuff Knock Cripples. Also you're line on Bullet Punch priority making up for speed lost due to curse is fairly vague, could possibly add an example or two of mons eliminated by +1 or +2 Scizor after "Mega Scizor outprioritize faster Pokemon" so something like faster Pokemon like A and B and eliminates them (once again feel free to word it better based on adjustment). removing the section of "that lack priority moves". Just makes the sentence more meta specific, and less explaining how bullet punch works.

something like "letting Mega Scizor outprioritize faster Pokemon, allowing it to handle faster threats such as ..." just a phrasing idea as I started thinking about it.

Also for the replay remove the lucky mention. They both were committed to a Roost PP stall and fish critting they way that game played out. I just hate to call it luck since it makes it sound more like hax than it really can be classified as, since if neither of them crit it would have been more of an anomaly. Perhaps try the word timely instead of lucky.

Overall this was very solid: QC 1/1

Implemented, sorry for my terrible grammar.
