Incineroar @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 108 Def / 68 SpD / 84 Spe
Careful Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Knock Off
- Parting Shot
- Toxic

The introduction of Heavy-Duty Boots this generation alongside its brilliant ability and typing has made Incineroar one of the premeow pivots in UU, being a fantastic check to Pokemon like Escavalier, Chandelure, and Doublade. Knock Off, Toxic, and Parting Shot allow it to punish its checks like Sylveon and Rhyperior and keep momentum. With the given EV spread, Incineroar can outspeed Mantine and avoid being 2HKOd by Close Combat from Escavalier and Doublade. Parting Shot makes Incineroar a great enabler for Pokemon like Celebi and Roserade that can take advantage of its switch-ins like Rhyperior, Gigalith, and Milotic. Incineroar appreciates checks to strong Fighting-types like Pangoro that can greatly threaten it. Sylveon is an excellent choice, as its cleric support can help it pivot into the Pokemon it checks more reliably. In return, Incineroar deals with all these Pokemon's defensive checks like Escavalier and Copperajah. Finally, Rotom-W can switch into Rhyperior and Gigalith and break through bulky Water-types that are brought in by Incineroar with Nasty Plot.

The introduction of Heavy Duty-Boots this generation, alongside its brilliant ability and typing has made Incineroar one of the premeow :blobglare: pivots in UU, being a fantastic check to Pokemon like Escavalier, Chandelure, and Doublade. Knock Off, Toxic, and Parting Shot also further allow it to punish its checks like Sylveon and Rhyperior and keep momentum. With the given EV spread, Incineroar is able to outspeed Mantine in order to get a fast Toxic or Parting Shot against it saves space esp considering mantine isn't super relevant, and avoid being 2HKO'd by Doublade's and escav's Close Combat. Thanks to Parting Shot, it is a great enabler to Pokemon like Celebi and Roserade that can take advantage of its switch-ins like Rhyperior, Gigalith, and Milotic. Incineroar appreciates checks to strong Fighting-types like Pangoro that can greatly threaten it. Sylveon is an excellent choice, as its Wish and Heal Bell cleric support can help Incineroar pivot into the Pokemon it checks more reliably. All of these Pokemon in return greatly appreciate Incineroar dealing In return, Incineroar can deal with their defensive checks like Escavalier and Copperajah.

try to squeeze a rly quick rotom-w mention here, probably in with the celebi/rose pressuring its checks thing

Sylveon is an excellent choice, as its cleric support can help Incineroar pivot into the Pokemon it checks more reliably. In return, Incineroar threatens with (you missed a word here, did you mean deal? Either threaten or deal with works)all these Pokemon's (is "these Pokemon's" referring to Sylveon? It's not quite clear) defensive checks like Escavalier and Copperajah. Rotom-W can switch into Rhyperior and Gigalith, and break through bulky Water-types that are brought in by Incineroar with Nasty Plot.
