Hydreigon @ Life Orb / Black Glasses
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dark Pulse
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast / U-turn
- Roost

Hydreigon is here to wreak havoc in UU, with the ability to destroy teams with its high Special Attack, solid Speed and excellent STAB moves and coverage. Dark Pulse and Draco Meteor make for an excellent STAB combo, being able to 2HKO nearly everything in the tier with a Life Orb boost. Black Glasses can also be used to avoid Life Orb's chip damage, but it makes you miss out on important KO’s like Conkeldurr with Draco Meteor. Fire Blast can be run to hit Grass and Steel-types like Tapu Bulu, Amoonguss and Celesteela, whereas U-turn lets Hydreigon function as an offensive pivot able to escape a bad match up with Primarina or Chansey. With access to reliable recovery in Roost, it's able to keep itself healthy throughout the game to better check the likes of Aegislash, Jirachi and Slowking. Teammates that are able to handle Fairy- and Fighting-type Pokemon like Amoonguss, Nihilego, and Jirachi work excellently with Hydreigon with the latter two providing Stealth Rock support for it, helping it break through walls like Celesteela more easily. Thundurus-T and Jirachi form strong pivoting cores with it, bringing it in to wallbreak. Teammates that can break through Chansey like Mienshao and Tapu Bulu are also greatly appreciated, with Hydreigon being able to get ride of Tangrowth and Skarmory for them in return.

Hydreigon is here to wreak havoc in UU! Hydreigon has the ability to destroy teams with its high Special Attack, solid Speed, and excellent STAB moves and coverage. Dark Pulse and Draco Meteor make for an excellent STAB combo, being able to 2HKO nearly everything in the tier with a Life Orb boost. Dark Glasses can also be used to avoid Life Orb's chip damage, but only powers up Dark Pulse instead of all of its moves. Fire Blast can be ran to hit Grass and Steel-types like Tapu Bulu, Amoonguss and Celesteela Skarmory, whereas U-turn lets it function as an offensive pivot. I'd also add it can escape Pokemon it cannot beat like primarina and chansey. With access to reliable recovery in Roost, it's able to keep itself healthy throughout the game to better check the likes of Aegislash, Jirachi and Slowking. Teammates that are able to handle Fairy and Fighting-type Pokemon like Amoonguss Thundurus-T, Nihilego and Jirachi Nidoking work excellently with it. add how the latter two can provide stealth rock support to let it break through celesteela easier. bring up how jirachi and thundurus-t can also act as pivots to bring hydreigon in to wallbreak. Teammates that can break through Chansey like Mienshao and Tapu Bulu are also greatly appreciated, with Hydreigon being able to get ride of Tangrowth and Skarmory for them in return.

Hydreigon is here to wreak havoc in UU, (comma) Hydreigon has with the ability to destroy teams with its high Special Attack, solid Speed and excellent STAB moves and coverage. Dark Pulse and Draco Meteor make for an excellent STAB combo, being able to 2HKO nearly everything in the tier with a Life Orb boost. Dark Black Glasses can also be used to avoid Life Orb's chip damage, but it only powers up Dark Pulse instead of all of its moves (dex info, surely you can write smth here from the angle of missing notable kos). Fire Blast can be ran run to hit Grass and Steel-types like Tapu Bulu, Amoonguss and Celesteela, whereas U-turn lets it Hydreigon function as an offensive pivot able to escape a bad match up with Primarina or Chansey. With access to reliable recovery in Roost, it's able to keep itself healthy throughout the game to better check the likes of Aegislash, Jirachi and Slowking.
