Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 HP / 56 SpD / 200 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Lava Plume
- Earth Power
- Rest
Pesky physical attackers giving you a hard time? Not anymore! Flame Body Heatran takes advantage of popular physical threats like Weavile, Galarian Zapdos, Scizor, and Kartana and punishes them with a burn, crippling them severely. Lava Plume is used over Magma Storm to deal direct damage to the above Pokemon while being able to fish for more burns on Pokemon like Galarian Slowking, Garchomp, and Landorus-T. Rest gives Heatran increased longevity outside of Leftovers, and Heatran's great bulk makes it easy to last through the turns it's asleep. The Speed investment allows Heatran to outspeed the likes of Bisharp while Speed tying with Magnezone and Aegislash. Partners that are able to take Ground- and Fighting-type moves for it like Cosmic Power Mew, Dragapult, and Landorus-T appreciate Heatran's ability to cripple the aforementioned Pokemon. Landorus-T in particular synergizes well with Heatran and makes for a strong defensive core that is able to take on each other's offensive answers and let them do their roles to the best of their abilities.
