The spread gives Magearna just enough defense to avoid a possible 2HKO from Kyurem's Fusion Bolt, while providing enough special attack to get a guaranteed OHKO on Kyurem-Black. Flamethrower through Occa Berry deals 30.7% damage max, and 61.5% without Occa Berry. This is 92.2% damage maximum during those first two turns, meaning Magearna has enough time to switch into a Flamethrower, take another, and OHKO back with Fleur Cannon.

Not that it makes any difference, but I'd run Hydro Pump and Fire Blast on my Specs Clohm.

Vikavolt is slower than that Celesteela, so Cele only needs to hit both fire blasts and Vikavolt is squashed like a bug. .85*.85 is .72, or a 72% chance both blasts land, which means Vikavolt is NOT going to beat Celesteela the majority of the time. In addition, that Vikavolt is also slower than Arghonaut, which means that that 6.3% chance to OHKO becomes a lot more relevant, as Vikavolt has to take two Waterfalls before getting to attack, once on the switch in and once more because it gets outsped. Since Waterfall is a 3HKO on Vika, it would need to get the OHKO on Argho turn two, which it can't do the majority of the time according to your calcs. Overall, I think you just forgot to factor in speed tiers when you went through it in your head, but in at least one of those cases, I don't think Vikavolt quite cuts it. I don't know if I have the authority to, but I'm thinking that's a yuck? >.>
