[OVERVIEW]

Ferroseed has a great defensive typing that provides it with useful resistances to types like Water, Fairy, and Psychic and an immunity to Toxic Spikes. This, along with its excellent defensive stats and ability to hold an Eviolite, allows it to come in easily on top threats such as Carracosta and Kangaskhan. Ferroseed is also one of the few Pokemon that has access to both Stealth Rock and Spikes and can set both reliably throughout a match. Iron Barbs is an incredibly useful ability, allowing Ferroseed to net some chip damage on foes. However, a 4x weakness to Fire and a weakness to very common Fighting-type attacks can give Ferroseed some trouble, as does its susceptibility to Taunt. Ferroseed also has no access to reliable recovery, although Leech Seed can help to nullify this and force even more switches.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Spikes is one of the best entry hazards in the game, and Ferroseed can set them up very reliably due to its good typing and defensive stats. Leech Seed heals Ferroseed and racks up residual damage against the foe. Gyro Ball is Ferroseed's most reliable STAB move due to its lacking Speed stat, and it also makes Ferroseed not complete setup bait to Pokemon carrying Taunt such as Floatzel, Qwilfish, and Sableye. Protect lets Ferroseed scout for moves as well as recover more HP safely after the opposing Pokemon has been hit by Leech Seed. Thunder Wave can be used on Ferroseed to cripple threats that try to switch in such as Magmortar, Primeape, and Lilligant, though this does reduce the damage that Gyro Ball does. Ferroseed can use Toxic on a predicted switch-in to cripple Pokemon that try to use it as setup fodder like Mesprit, Gurdurr, and Musharna.

Set Details
========

248 HP EVs are used to take the minimum amount of Spikes damage when switching in while also retaining as much bulk as possible. 132 Special Defense EVs with a Special Defense-boosting nature let Ferroseed avoid being 2HKOed by Blizzard from Life Orb Abomasnow, and the other 128 EVs are thrown into Defense to make it as bulky as possible. A Sassy nature makes Ferroseed slower so it can deal more Gyro Ball damage. Eviolite boosts Ferroseed's bulk to even greater levels. Iron Barbs chips down opposing Pokemon that make contact.

Usage Tips
========

Use Ferroseed early-game to set up entry hazards as soon as possible. Ferroseed is best used checking Water-, Psychic-, Fairy-, Rock-, and Normal-types such as Carracosta, Mesprit, Mr. Mime, Aggron, and Kangaskhan because they cannot do much back unless they're using Hidden Power Fire or Fighting-type coverage. Ferroseed should always try to use Leech Seed on the foe as fast as possible if Ferroseed lost HP to gain it back. Use Protect to scout for coverage moves and react accordingly. Make sure to keep Ferroseed healthy whenever the opponent has a Pokemon such as Shell Smash Carracosta or Z-Lovely Kiss Jynx, but be wary of switching it into Jynx, as Ferroseed might find itself asleep next turn. Make sure to try to double switch around Fire-types such as Pyroar, as they lose 25% of their health if Stealth Rock is on the field.

Team Options
========

Pokemon such as Carracosta, Qwilfish, Lanturn, Gastrodon, and Regirock are all able to pressure Fire-types such as Pyroar, which are really troublesome for Ferroseed. Carracosta can also set up Stealth Rock for Ferroseed, allowing it to use Spikes more freely. In return, Ferroseed provides an Electric- and Grass-type resistance for all of them. Pokemon that appreciate Spikes and Stealth Rock support such as Gurdurr, Floatzel, Abomasnow, and Absol are excellent teammates for Ferroseed because it can switch into most of their checks and set up entry hazards, letting them nail quite a few KOs on foes like Musharna, Mesprit, and Cradily. Assault Vest Magmortar is an excellent teammate because it's able to switch into Fire-types and pressure them with Earthquake, and it also benefits from Stealth Rock and Spikes support to get KOs. Pokemon such as Hitmonchan and Primeape both benefit from Ferroseed's defensive typing because it resists every single weakness they have while also providing them Stealth Rock or Spikes suppport. Spinblockers such as Sableye and Palossand can keep hazards on the field.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Knock Off can be used to cripple switch-ins such as Hitmonchan, Primeape, and Pyroar by removing their item. Seed Bomb can be used for Water-types such as Floatzel, Lanturn, and Carracosta that may try to switch into Ferroseed. Bullet Seed can be used to break through Substitute. Curse, while very niche, can make Ferroseed very annoying to deal with late-game, especially if opposing Fire- and Fighting- types are removed, as Ferroseed can then keep boosting its Defense stat while also being able to hit harder.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fire-types**: Fire-types such as Pyroar, Magmortar, and Combusken can all OHKO Ferroseed with their 4x super effective STAB moves, but they cannot keep switching in consistently due to Ferroseed setting up Stealth Rock and Spikes.

**Fighting-types**: Primeape, Hitmonchan, Gurdurr, and Passimian are all able to pressure Ferroseed with their super effective STAB moves ; however, Ferroseed can use Protect to scout for U-turn against Choice Scarf Primeape and Passimian.

**Probopass**: Due to Probopass's access to Magnet Pull, it's able to effectively trap Ferroseed and KO it with Hidden Power Fire.

**Super Effective Coverage**: Pokemon such as Jynx, Lanturn, and Mr. Mime can all run super effective coverage such as Focus Blast and Hidden Power Fire for Ferroseed.

**Taunt**: Taunt from users such as Sableye, Qwilfish, and Floatzel make Ferroseed useless due to its passivity.

I must disagree with the set here, u lose ur ability to check things like ludicolo on rain, which i feel is big as ferroseed is a great rain check.

[OVERVIEW]

  • Ferroseed has a very good defensive typing, good defensive stats and access to Eviolite which boosts its defensive stats even further. (very repetitive here lol, reword a bit and talk about having useful resistances to a large portion of the meta (9 resistances and 1 immunity))
  • Ferroseed is one of the few Pokemon that has access to both Spikes and Stealth Rock.
  • Ferroseed has an easy time coming in on a lot of popular Pokemon such as Carracosta, Alolan Raticate and Gastrodon.
  • Ferroseed's typing is very good defensively but it also leaves it with a 4x weakness to Fire. (ferroseed's typing leaves it weak to fighting and fire type coverage, both of which are common coverage options from things it naturally resists, e.g. hp fire lant and focus blast raichu-a)
  • Ferroseed also has very bad offensive stats which can make it set up bait to Pokemon carrying the move Substitute. (I don't like this point, yeah it does have bad offensive stats and can be used as set up bait, but almost every mon that uses sub, like oricorio-g and mesprit, it can break. mention taunt instead)
  • Immunity to toxic spikes and resists sr
  • No recovery outside of relying on leech seed

[SET]
name: Defensive
move 1: Spikes
move 2: Leech Seed
move 3: Gyro Ball
move 4: Protect / Stealth Rock
item: Eviolite
ability: Iron Barbs
nature: Relaxed
evs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD (I feel like there could be a better spread here, but i'll get back to you on that)

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

  • Spikes are one of the best hazards in the game and Ferroseed can set them up very reliably due to its great defensive typing and defensive stats. (you say defensive a lot, just say great typing and stats)
  • Leech Seed heals Ferroseed and it also wracks up residual damage against the opponent. (gives it a semi-reliable form of recovery)
  • Gyro Ball is Ferroseed's most reliable STAB move due to its lacking Speed stat, it also means it is not complete setup bait to Pokemon carrying Taunt or Substitute. (remove sub, as previously mentioned)
  • Protect lets Ferroseed scout for moves as well as recover more HP safely when the opposing Pokemon is Leech Seeded. (useful for scouting choiced mons specifically)
  • Stealth Rock can be used if your team lacks Stealth Rock support. (I feel as SR should be slashed with spikes, not having protect really sucks)
  • I'd mention twave and toxic as possible options, because I think they're better than OO

Set Details
========

  • 248 HP EVs are used to take the minimum amount of Spikes while retaining as bulky as possible.
  • 252 Defense EVs make Ferroseed as bulky as possible on the physical side, the other 8 EVs are thrown into Special Defense.
  • A Relaxed nature boosts Ferroseed's defense stat even further while being slower for Gyro Ball to do more damage.
  • Eviolite boosts Ferroseed's bulk to even greater levels.
  • Iron barbs chips mons that make contact

Usage Tips
========

  • Use Ferroseed early game to set up hazards as soon as possible. (ferroseed can be used at any time, this makes it seem more like a suicide lead) (what does it setup on btw?)
  • Ferroseed is best used checking Water-, Grass-, Psychic-, Fairy-, Normal- and, Rock-types because they cannot do much back unless they're using Hidden Power Fire or Fighting coverage. (any examples?)
  • Once Ferroseed gets low you should try and Leech Seed the opposing foe as fast as possible to get back health. (ferroseed shouldn't just leech seed when it's low)
  • It can use protect to scout for coverage and reply accordingly
Team Options
========

  • Pokemon that take on Fire-types such as Carracosta, Qwilfish, Lanturn, and Floatzel are all able to pressure Fire-types that are really troublesome for Ferroseed; in return Ferroseed provides an Electric and Grass resist for all of them.
  • Specially defensive Water-types really benefit from Ferroseed because Ferroseed resists Electric- and Grass-types for them while all are able to take on Fire-types. These Water-types include Lanturn, Qwilfish, Poliwrath, and Ludicolo.
  • Pokemon that appreciate Spikes and Stealth Rock support such as Gurdurr, Floatzel, Abomasnow, and Absol are excellent teammates with Ferroseed because Ferroseed can switch into most of their checks and setup Spikes/Stealth Rock which lets them nail quite a few KOs.
  • Assault Vest Magmortar is an excellent teammate because it's able to switch into Fire-types and pressure them with Earthquake it also benefits from Stealth Rock/Spikes to get kills.
  • Mention fighting type resists like mesprit and weezing, both of which can set hazards too
  • Kangaskhan appreciates the residual damage spikes offers
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

  • Thunder Wave can be used on Ferroseed to cripple threats that try to switch in. (move to moves)
  • Ferroseed can use Toxic on a predicted switch to eliminate Pokemon that try to use it as setup fodder
  • Curse on Ferroseed, while very niche can be very annoying to deal with late game if the opposing Fire- or Fighting- types are removed, because it can keep boosting its Defense stat while also being able to hit harder. (remove this 100%, curse is really, really bad)
  • Seed Bomb can be used for Water-types such as Floatzel, Lanturn and Carracosta that may try to use Ferroseed to come in.
  • Knock off
Checks and Counters
===================

**Fire-types**: Fire-types such as Pyroar, Magmortar, and Combusken can all OHKO Ferroseed with their 4x Super Effective STAB moves that Ferroseed will die to in an instant.

**Fighting-types**: Primeape, Combusken, Hitmonchan, Gurdurr, and Passimian are all able to pressure Ferroseed with their Super Effective STAB moves that Ferroseed doesn't like taking. (gurdurr also doesn't care about status)

**Probopass**: Due to Probopass' access to Magnet Pull it's able to effectively trap Ferroseed and kill it with Hidden Power Fire.

**Super Effective Coverage**: mons that it can usually check may carry coverage, like jynx or lanturn

**Taunt**: Taunt rents Ferroseed useless because of its low offensive stats. (what uses taunt?)

**Setup sweepers**: Setup sweepers such as Oricorio-Sensu, Gurdurr, Combusken, and Turtonator are all able to setup on Ferroseed because of its passive nature. (could you mention something else over gurdurr and combusken, because you've already mentioned them)

**Probopass**: Due to Probopass' access to Magnet Pull it's able to effectively trap Ferroseed and kill it with Hidden Power Fire.

**Super Effective coverage**: Pokemon such as Jynx, Lanturn, and Mr. Mime can all possibly run Super Effective coverage for Ferroseed. this is too vague pls list the coverage

**Taunt**: Taunt from users such as Sableye and Vigoroth rents Ferroseed useless because of its low offensive stats. or just say because its passive

**Setup sweepers**: Setup sweepers such as Oricorio-Sensu, Hidden Power Fire Lilligant, and Turtonator are all able to setup on Ferroseed because of its passive nature.

i just feel like listing the types its weak to is super generic and doesn't really give people more practical info like specifying that a ton of stuff can force it out or run a coverage move to make it less of an issue, random HP fires or w/e can be quite annoying

Moves

Spikes are one of the best hazards in the game and Ferroseed can set them up very reliably due to its good typing and defensive stats. Leech Seed heals Ferroseed, it also wracks up residual damage against the foe and gives it passive recovery. Gyro Ball is Ferroseed's most reliable STAB move due to its lacking Speed stat, it also means it is not complete setup bait to Pokemon carrying Taunt such as Vigoroth mebbe somth more relevant like weezing or floatzel or w/e, Qwilfish and Sableye. Protect lets Ferroseed scout for moves as well as recover more HP safely when the opposing Pokemon is Leech Seeded. Stealth Rock can be used if your team lacks Stealth Rock support. Ferroseed can use Toxic on a predicted switch to eliminate Pokemon that try to use it as setup fodder like Mesprit, Gurdurr, and Musharna. Thunder Wave can be used on Ferroseed to cripple threats that try to switch in such as Magmortar, Primeape, and Lilligant. mention twave before toxic, it's just better. also for both of them id specify that ur dropping protect for a status move

Set Details
========

248 HP EVs are used to take the minimum amount of Spikes damage? while retaining as bulky as possible. 128 Defense EVs make Ferroseed as bulky as possible on the physical side, the other 132 EVs are thrown into Special Defense to avoid being 2HKOd by Abomasnow u have this backwards, the spdef evs are for abomasnow and the rest is thrown into defense. A Sassy nature boosts Ferroseed's defense stat even further while being slower for more Gyro Ball damage. Eviolite boosts Ferroseed's bulk to even greater levels. Iron Barbs chips down opposing Pokemon that try to make contact.

Usage Tips
========

Use Ferroseed early game to set up hazards as soon as possible. Ferroseed is best used checking Water-, Grass-, Psychic-, Fairy-, Normal- and, Rock-types such as Carracosta, Lilligant, Mesprit, Mr.Mime, Kangaskhan, and Aggron because they cannot do much back unless they're using Hidden Power Fire or Fighting coverage just one big list is awfully boring, u could definitely condense this point. Ferroseed should always try and Leech Seed the opposing foe as fast as possible if it lost health to gain back health. Use Protect to scout for coverage moves and react accordingly.

i don't know why this is so short at 2/3, there's plenty of things id mention like how ferro is the type of mon u wanna keep healthy in the back if ur looking at like smashcosta or z-kiss jynx or somth if ur team struggles with these setup sweepers, or the merit in double seeding, or making sure to double if ur not gonna be able to switch into stuff like magmortar

Team Options
========

Pokemon that take on Fire-types such as Carracosta, Qwilfish, Lanturn, and Floatzel are all able to pressure Fire-types that are really troublesome for Ferroseed such as Pyroar, the former 2 do however struggle against Magmortar, Carracosta can also set up Stealth Rock for Ferroseed allowing it to use Spikes more freely if u wanna help GP u could do a lot to fix this sentence. also i wouldn't list floatzel, ferro needs defensive fire checks not offensive ones, and there's plenty of other things to mention like regirock or gastrodon or w/e. In return Ferroseed provides an Electric and Grass resist for all of them. Pokemon that appreciate Spikes and Stealth Rock support such as Gurdurr, Floatzel, Abomasnow, and Absol are excellent teammates with Ferroseed because Ferroseed can switch into most of their checks and setup Spikes/Stealth Rock which lets them nail quite a few KOs.Assault Vest Magmortar is an excellent teammate because it's able to switch into Fire-types and pressure them with Earthquake it also benefits from Stealth Rock/Spikes to get kills. Spinblockers such as Sableye and Pallosand can Spinblock to keep hazards on the field. spacing below. also i see no mention of mons that like a strong normal check (that's stuff like eel which mostly gets bopped by random phys attckers), or psychic weak things since u beat like all the psychics, basically stuff that benefits from ur defensive typing. also there's no fighting checks here which is a major oversight

Knock Off can be used to cripple things that like to switch in by removing their item such as Hitmonchan, Primeape, and Pyroar. Seed Bomb can be used for Water-types such as Floatzel, Lanturn and Carracosta that may try to use Ferroseed to come in. curse. also mention bullet seed alongside seed bomb

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fire-types**: Fire-types such as Pyroar, Magmortar, and Combusken can all OHKO Ferroseed with their 4x Super Effective STAB moves that Ferroseed will die to in an instant, however they cannot keep switching in consistently due to Ferroseed setting up Stealth Rock and Spikes.

**Fighting-types**: Primeape, Hitmonchan, Gurdurr, and Passimian are all able to pressure Ferroseed with their Super Effective STAB moves that Ferroseed doesn't like taking; however, ferroseed can use protect to scout for U-Turn against Choice Scarfed Primeape/Passimian.

**Probopass**: Due to Probopass' access to Magnet Pull it's able to effectively trap Ferroseed and kill it with Hidden Power Fire. pls use KO not kill

**Super Effective coverage**: Pokemon such as Jynx, Lanturn, and Mr. Mime can all possibly run Super Effective coverage such as Focus Blast and Hidden Power Fire for Ferroseed.

**Taunt**: Taunt from users such as Sableye, Qwilfish and Vigoroth rents Ferroseed useless because of its passivity. rents? also again much more relevant stuff to mention than vigoroth

**Setup sweepers**: Setup sweepers such as Oricorio-Sensu, Hidden Power Fire Lilligant, and Turtonator are all able to setup on Ferroseed because of its passive nature. I'm ok with this point in theory but turtonator already goes under fire types and hp fire lilligant already goes under coverage moves. in fact oricorio and jynx are the only good examples i can think of as setup sweepers that break ferro despite a lack of good coverage moves and neither is a great check or counter anyway, i would just remove this point entirely

[OVERVIEW]

Ferroseed has a very good defensive typing and access to Eviolite to boost its defensive stats even further, (RC) (AP). It also has many usefull useful resistances against including a resistance to Water-, Fairy-, and Psychic-types. Ferroseed is one of the few Pokemon that has access to both Spikes and Stealth Rock and can set them up very reliably. Ferroseed has an easy time coming in on a lot of popular Pokemon such as Carracosta, Kangaskhan, (AC) and Gastrodon due to its good bulk. Ferroseed's ability in Iron Barbs can chip passively damage foes such as Kangaskhan and Stoutland. Ferroseed has an immunity to Toxic Spikes and a usefull useful resistance to Stealth Rock, (AC) which means it can come in multiple times during the game without fearing to getting worn down. Ferroseed's typing is very good defensively, (AC) but it also leaves it with a 4x weakness to Fire and a 2x (implied) weakness to Fighting coverage, (AC) which the tier is infested with. Taunt makes Ferroseed useless because it can not do much damage back to the foe. It has no recovery outside of Leech Seed, (RC) but can still force some switches because of the chip damage it provides.

Spikes are is one of the best hazards in the game, (AC) and Ferroseed can set them up very reliably due to its good typing and defensive stats. Leech Seed heals Ferroseed, and it also wracks racks up residual damage against the foe and gives it passive recovery (you've already said it heals ferroseed). Gyro Ball is Ferroseed's most reliable STAB move due to its lacking Speed stat, and it also means it is not complete setup bait to Pokemon carrying Taunt such as Floatzel, Qwilfish, (AC) and Sableye. Protect lets Ferroseed scout for moves as well as recover more HP safely when the opposing Pokemon is Leech Seeded has been hit by Leech Seed. Stealth Rock can be used if your team lacks Stealth Rock support. Thunder Wave can be used on Ferroseed to cripple threats that try to switch in such as Magmortar, Primeape, and Lilligant. Ferroseed can use Toxic on a predicted switch-(AH)in to eliminate Pokemon that try to use it as setup fodder like Mesprit, Gurdurr, and Musharna.

Set Details

248 HP EVs are used to take the minimum amount of Spikes damage while retaining as much bulk bulky as possible. 132 Special Defense EVs make mean Ferroseed avoids being 2HKOd 2HKOed by Abomasnow, and the other 128 EVs are thrown into Defense to be make it as bulky as possible. A Sassy nature boosts Ferroseed's Defense stat even further while being slower for more Gyro Ball damage. Eviolite boosts Ferroseed's bulk to even greater levels. Iron Barbs chips down opposing Pokemon that try to make contact.

Usage Tips
========

Use Ferroseed early-(AH)game to set up entry hazards as soon as possible. Ferroseed is best used checking Water-, Psychic-, Fairy-, and Normal-types such as Carracosta, Mesprit, Mr. (space) Mime, Kangaskhan, and Aggron (aggron is rock/steel, which isn't on the list, maybe add a typing to that list) because they cannot do much back unless they're using Hidden Power Fire or Fighting-(AH)type coverage. Ferroseed should always try and to use Leech Seed on the opposing foe as fast as possible if it Ferroseed (changes subject from foe) lost health HP to gain it back health. Use Protect to scout for coverage moves and react accordingly. Make sure to keep Ferroseed healthy whenever the opponent has a Pokemon such as Shell Smash Carracosta or Z-Lovely Kiss Jynx, however but be wary of switching it into Jynx, (AC) as you might find yourself Ferroseed might find itself asleep next turn. Make sure to try to and double around Fire-types because, (RC) if you for example go into Lanturn on their predicted Magmortar switch in and Stealth Rock are up on their side of the field you make them take (this isn't really clear and doesn't really stick to the point) they lose 25% of their health if Stealth Rock is on the field which pressures Magmortar to come in a second time on Ferroseed.

Gyro Ball is Ferroseed's most reliable STAB move due to its lacking Speed stat, and it also means it is not complete setup bait to Pokemon carrying Taunt such as Floatzel, Qwilfish, and Sableye. Protect lets Ferroseed scout for moves as well as recover more HP safely after the opposing Pokemon has been hit by Leech Seed. Stealth Rock can be used if your team lacks Stealth Rock support. Thunder Wave can be used on Ferroseed to cripple threats that try to switch in such as Magmortar, Primeape, and Lilligant, however this does reduce the damage that Gyro Ball does. Ferroseed can use Toxic on a predicted switch-in to eliminate Pokemon that try to use it as setup fodder like Mesprit, Gurdurr, and Musharna.

248 HP EVs are used to take the minimum amount of Spikes damage when switching in while also retaining as much bulk as possible. 132 Special Defense EVs mean Ferroseed avoids being 2HKOed by a Blizzard from Life Orb Abomasnow, and the other 128 EVs are thrown into Defense to make it as bulky as possible. A Sassy nature boosts Ferroseed's Defense stat even further while making Ferroseed slower so that it can deal more Gyro Ball damage. Eviolite boosts Ferroseed's bulk to even greater levels. Iron Barbs chips down opposing Pokemon that make contact.

Usage Tips
========

Use Ferroseed early-game to set up hazards as soon as possible. Ferroseed is best used checking Water-, Psychic-, Fairy-, Rock, and Normal-types such as Carracosta, Mesprit, Mr. Make sure to try to double around Fire-types such as Pyroar, they lose 25% of their health if Stealth Rock is on the field.

Team Options
========

Pokemon such as Carracosta, Qwilfish, Lanturn, Gastrodon, and Regirock are all able to pressure Fire-types that are really troublesome for Ferroseed such as Pyroar. Carracosta can also set up Stealth Rock for Ferroseed, allowing it to use Spikes more freely. In return, Ferroseed provides an Electric- and Grass-type resistance for all of them. Pokemon that appreciate Spikes and Stealth Rock support such as Gurdurr, Floatzel, Abomasnow, and Absol are excellent teammates for Ferroseed because it can switch into most of their checks and set up Spikes or Stealth Rock, letting them nail quite a few KOs on things such as Musharna, Mesprit, and Cradily.

=============

Knock Off can be used to cripple switch-ins such as Hitmonchan, Primeape, and Pyroar by removing their item. Seed Bomb can be used for Water-types such as Floatzel, Lanturn, and Carracosta that may try to switch into Ferroseed. Bullet Seed can be used to break through Substitutes. Curse on Ferroseed, while very niche, can be very annoying to deal with late-game, especially if opposing Fire- and Fighting- types are removed, as Ferroseed can then keep boosting its Defense stat while also being able to hit harder.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fire-types**: Fire-types such as Pyroar, Magmortar, and Combusken can all OHKO Ferroseed with their 4x super effective STAB moves_, but they cannot keep switching in consistently due to Ferroseed setting up Stealth Rock and Spikes.

**Fighting-types**: Primeape, Hitmonchan, Gurdurr, and Passimian are all able to pressure Ferroseed with their super effective STAB moves that Ferroseed doesn't like taking; however, Ferroseed can use Protect to scout for U-turn against Choice Scarf Primape and Passimian.

**Probopass**: Due to Probopass's access to Magnet Pull, it's able to effectively trap and KO Ferroseed with Hidden Power Fire.

**Super effective coverage**: Pokemon such as Jynx, Lanturn, and Mr. Mime can all possibly run super effective coverage such as Focus Blast and Hidden Power Fire for Ferroseed.

**Taunt**: Taunt from users such as Sableye, Qwilfish, and Floatzel make Ferroseed useless due to its passivity.

Ferroseed has an easy time coming in on a lot of popular Pokemon such as Carracosta, Kangaskhan, and Gastrodon due to its good bulk. Its ability Iron Barbs can passively damage foes such as Kangaskhan and Stoutland. Ferroseed has an immunity to Toxic Spikes and a useful resistance to Stealth Rock, which means it can come in multiple times during the game without fearing getting worn down. While Ferroseed's typing is very good defensively, but it also leaves it with a 4x weakness to Fire and a weakness to Fighting coverage, which the tier is infested with. Taunt makes Ferroseed useless because it can not cannot do much damage back to the foe.
