Choice Scarf Darmanitan is a very potent revenge killer in RU. Darmanitan puts immense pressure on offensive and defensive teams alike with the combination of Flare Blitz and Trick, letting it revenge kill offensive threats like Swords Dance Cobalion while also threatening to cripple foes like Rhyperior, Jellicent, and Seismitoad with Trick. Darmanitan is also good at generating momentum with U-turn, forming a powerful VoltTurn core with teammates like Xurkitree and allowing Darmanitan to pivot on Rock- and Water-type Pokemon if it doesn't want to give up its Choice Scarf. Rock Slide hits Pokemon like Crobat and Incineroar. Of course, Darmanitan has some notable issues: it is forced out by faster Choice Scarf users like Flygon, entry hazards and recoil limit its longevity, and it is quite prediction reliant. These can all be alleviated by having reliable Defoggers like Crobat and utilising wall breakers like Obstagoon or Heracross.

Darmanitan is also good at keeping generating momentum with U-turn, forming a powerful VoltTurn core with teammates like Xurkitree (remove comma) and also allows allowing Darmanitan to pivot out of on Rock- and Water-type (remove space between Water- and type) Pokemon if it doesn't want to give up its Choice Scarf. Rock Slide as a coverage option hits Pokemon like Crobat and Incineroar super effectively. Of course, Darmanitan has some notable issues: (semicolon->colon) notably that it is forced out by faster Choice Scarf users like Flygon, how entry hazards and Flare Blitz recoil damage limit its longevity, and how it is quite prediction reliant. These can both all be alleviated by having reliable Defoggers like Crobat while also utilising and utilizing wall breakers like Obstagoon or Heracross.
