Solid Speed and access to Nasty Plot make Mr. Mime a dangerous special attacker and a much more immediate threat than its main competition, Grumpig. Psychic is Mr. Mime's preferred STAB move, threatening most neutral targets in ZU. Psyshock is an alternative that is generally weaker; for example, it fails to reliably OHKO Leafeon and bulky Whiscash at +2. However, it does hit certain foes harder; for example, when boosted by Nasty Plot and Life Orb it reliably OHKOes specially defensive Clefairy and 2HKOes opposing Mr. Mime and all Grumpig variants, removing the need for Mr. Mime to run coverage to hit these Pokemon. Focus Blast is Mr. Mime's primary mean of hitting Steel-types, OHKOing Lairon and Pawniard unboosted and Wormadam-S at +2 after Stealth Rock. Even when unboosted, Focus Blast also threatens OHKOes against notable Ice, Rock, and Normal-types like Glaceon, Graveler, and Persian, respectively, and at +2 it OHKOes all Clefairy variants and Vullaby after Stealth Rock. Hidden Power Fighting is a more accurate alternative, though even with Life Orb it fails to OHKO most targets barring Lairon, Pawniard, and Persian after Stealth Rock, thus requiring Mr. Mime to boost, sometimes multiple times, to deal with most of Focus Blast's targets. Hidden Power Fighting also causes Mr. Mime to lose one point in Speed, leaving it outsped by opposing base 90 Speed Pokemon, primarily opposing Mr. Mime and Abra. At +2, Thunderbolt OHKOes Vullaby, Pawniard, Lairon, and most Water-types, and it 2HKOes most opposing Psychic-types, covering many potential holes in Mr. Mime's coverage. However, Thunderbolt isn't mandatory since Mr. Mime either has other coverage options or can muscle through these foes with its Psychic-type STAB moves, allowing Taunt to be used instead to stop status users like Frillish, entry hazard setters like Solrock, and opposing setup sweepers like Whiscash from exploiting Mr. Mime's inability to OHKO them. Filter is Mr. Mime's best ability, as while it's still extremely frail, Filter allows it to tank certain super effective attacks like Arbok's Sucker Punch and Leafeon's X-Scissor when at full health.

Mr. Mime best fits on offense and balance teams looking for a potent special attacker and stallbreaker that's able to break through common defensive pieces like Meganium and Frillish. Additionally, Mr. Mime's speedy Taunt denying entry hazards can aid teammates such as Persian. Mr. Mime's frailty means it has difficulty safely setting up, usually requiring opportunities from a passive wall like Frillish or Clefairy or a foe it threatens out like Mienfoo or Lairon. Pivots like Vullaby and Persian alleviate this issue and the general difficulty with switching in that Mr. Mime struggles with. Stealth Rock setters like Solrock and Lairon are useful partners, as many of Mr. Mime's OHKO thresholds, particularly from its weaker options, rely on Stealth Rock to be reliable. Mr. Mime can be used as a wincon, notably against more defensive teams that struggle to stop it from setting up; however, Mr. Mime is eternally afraid of faster foes and priority users, so bulky partners like Muk, Meganium, and Clefairy are useful to help wall these threats. Thunder Wave from teammates like the aforementioned Clefairy can thwart faster revenge killers like Simisear and Emolga.

Solid Speed and access to Nasty Plot make Mr. Mime a dangerous special attacker. Psychic is Mr. Mime's prefered STAB move, with it threatening most neutral targets in ZU. Psyshock is a alternative that is generally weaker, for example it fails to reliably OHKO Leafeon and bulky Whiscash at +2; however, it does hit certain notable foes harder, as after a Nasty Plot it reliably OHKOes specially defensive Clefairy and 2HKOes opposing Mr. Mime and all Grumpig variants, removing the need for Mr. Mime to run coverage or innacurate moves to hit these Pokemon. Focus Blast is Mr. Mime's primary means to hit Steel-types, OHKOing Lairon and Pawniard unboosted and Wormadam-S at +2 after Stealth Rocks. Unboosted Focus Blast also threatens OHKOes against notable Ice, Rock, and Normal-types like Glaceon, Graveler, and Persian, and at +2 it OHKOes all Clefairy variants and Vullaby after Stealth Rocks. Hidden Power Fighting is a more accurate alternative, though it fails to OHKO most targets barring Persian after Stealth Rocks, Lairon, and Pawniard, thus requiring Mr. Mime set up, sometimes multiple times, to deal with most of Focus Blast's targets. Hidden Power Fighting also causes Mr. Mime to lose one point in Speed, leaving outsped by opposing Pokemon with base 90 Speed. At +2, Thunderbolt OHKOes Vullaby, Pawniard, Lairon, and most opposing Water-types, and it 2HKOes most opposing Psychic-types, covering many potential holes in Mr. Mime's coverage. However, Thunderbolt isn't mandatory since Mr. Mime either has other coverage options or can brute force these foes with its Psychic-type STAB moves, and thus Taunt can be used instead to prevent status users like Frillish or setup sweepers like Shelgon from abusing Mr. Mime's inability to OHKO them before it can set up. In some scenarios it can also prevent entry hazards. Filter is Mr. Mime's best ability, as while it's still extremely frail, Filter allows it to tank certain attacks like Arbok's Sucker Punch and Leafeon's X-Scissor when at full health.

I think it might be important to mention why Life Orb is the choice of item. Does it hit any important calcs? or just for doing as much damage output as possible?

Mr. Mime best fits on offensive and balance teams looking for a potent special attacker. With Taunt, it's also a notable stallbreaker. Additionally, Mime's speedy Taunt can deny entry hazards from setters like Clefairy. (this part seems more fit to be in the part above unless you're addressing teammates that benefit from this support on offensive teams) Mr. Mime's frailty means it has difficulty safely setting up, usually requiring that it be faced with a passive wall like Frillish or Clefairy or force out a foe it threatens like Mienfoo or Lairon. Pivots like Vullaby and Persian alleviate this issue and the general difficulty in switching in Mr. Mime. Stealth Rock setters like Solrock and Lairon are useful partners, as many of Mr. Mime's OHKO thresholds, particularly from its weaker options, rely on Stealth Rocks to be reliable. Mr. Mime can be used as a win con, notably against more defensive teams that struggle to stop it from setting up. However, Mr. Mime is eternally afraid of faster foes and priority users, so bulky partners like Muk, Meganium, and Clefairy can help wall these threats. Thunder Wave users in particular thwart faster revenge killers.

might be good to mention teammates that can help soften up Mr. Mimes walls, especially those that aren't as passive like meganium.

Solid Speed and access to Nasty Plot make Mr. Mime a dangerous special attacker, and much more immediate than its main competition, Grumpig. You can choose to add if you want but I think Mime always needs to be justified in contrast to Pig. Psychic is Mr. Mime's preferred STAB move, with it threatening most neutral targets in ZU. Psyshock is an alternative that is generally weaker, for example it fails to reliably OHKO Leafeon and bulky Whiscash at +2; however, it does hit certain foes harder, for example after a Nasty Plot and with Life Orb it reliably OHKOes specially defensive Clefairy and 2HKOes opposing Mr. Mime and all Grumpig variants, removing the need for Mr. Mime to run use coverage to hit these Pokemon. Focus Blast is Mr. Mime's primary means to hit Steel-types, OHKOing Lairon and Pawniard unboosted and Wormadam-S at +2 after Stealth Rocks and Life Orb. Unboosted Focus Blast also threatens OHKOes against notable Ice, Rock, and Normal-types like Glaceon, Graveler, and Persian, and at +2 it OHKOes all Clefairy variants and Vullaby after Stealth Rocks. Hidden Power Fighting is a more accurate alternative, though even with Life Orb it fails to OHKO most targets barring Persian after Stealth Rocks, Lairon, and Pawniard, thus requiring Mr. Mime set up, sometimes multiple times, to deal with most of Focus Blast's targets. Hidden Power Fighting also causes Mr. Mime to lose one point in Speed, leaving outsped by opposing Pokemon with base 90 Speed. Since there is only one relevant example in Mr. Mime, (arguably two in abra if you want to include) id mention by name. Shelgon and Whiscash actually die to +2 Psychic lol so I'd use another wall like Worm trash or Munchlax, or we just remove Taunt? In some scenarios it can also prevent entry hazards, such as from Clefairy. Filter is Mr. Mime's best ability, as while it's still extremely frail, Filter allows it to tank certain attacks like Arbok's Sucker Punch and Leafeon's X-Scissor when at full health.

Mr. Mime best fits on offensive and balance teams looking for a potent special attacker and stallbreaker, able to break through common defensive pieces like Meganium and Frillish. Additionally, Mime's speedy Taunt can deny entry hazards from setters like Clefairy, aiding teammates that dislike hazards like Persian. Mr. Mime. Solid Speed and access to Nasty Plot make Mr. Mime a dangerous special attacker(RC) and a much more immediate threat than its main competition, Grumpig. Psychic is Mr. Mime's preferred STAB move, with it threatening most neutral targets in ZU. Psyshock is an alternative that is generally weaker(RC);(ASC) for example,(AC) it fails to reliably OHKO Leafeon and bulky Whiscash at +2(RSC).(AP) however However, it does hit certain foes harder(RC);(ASC) for example,(AC) after a Nasty Plot and with Life Orb when boosted by Nasty Plot and Life Orb it reliably OHKOes specially defensive Clefairy and 2HKOes opposing Mr. Mime and all Grumpig variants, removing the need for Mr. Mime to run use coverage to hit these Pokemon. Focus Blast is Mr. Mime's primary means to hit of hitting Steel-types, OHKOing Lairon and Pawniard unboosted and Wormadam-S at +2 after Stealth Rocks Rock and Life Orb (you don't need to specify Life Orb this much since readers will have seen it on the set already with no alternative items to confuse it with). Unboosted Even when unboosted,(AC) Focus Blast also threatens OHKOes against notable Ice, Rock, and Normal-types like Glaceon, Graveler, and Persian, respectively, and at +2 it OHKOes all Clefairy variants and Vullaby after Stealth Rocks Rock. Hidden Power Fighting is a more accurate alternative, though even with Life Orb it fails to OHKO most targets barring Persian after Stealth Rocks, Lairon, and Pawniard Lairon, Pawniard, and Persian after Stealth Rock (leaving calcs that have caveats like "after SR" until the end of a list always reads better. I understand you want to make it clear that Pawn/Lairon don't need rocks but that's kinda implied already here since readers should know they're 4x weak targets), thus requiring Mr. Mime set up to boost, sometimes multiple times, to deal with most of Focus Blast's targets. Hidden Power Fighting also causes Mr. Mime to lose one point in Speed, leaving it outsped by opposing base 90 Speed Pokemon, primarily opposing Mr. Mime and Abra. Mime either has other coverage options or can brute force muscle through these foes with its Psychic-type STAB moves, and thus allowing Taunt can to be used instead to stop status users like Frillish, entry hazard setters like Solrock, and opposing setup sweepers like Whishcash Whiscash from making use of exploiting Mr. Mime's inability to OHKO them. In some scenarios it can also prevent entry hazards, such as from Clefairy (this sentence is redundant with the mention of hazards in the last sentence, choose one to remove. I'd recommend the latter but I'll leave it up to you). Filter is Mr. Mime's best ability, as while it's still extremely frail, Filter allows it to tank certain super effective attacks (specifying since Filter doesn't help with strong neutral hits) like Arbok's Sucker Punch and Leafeon's X-Scissor when at full health.

Mr. Mime can be used as a win(RS)con, notably against more defensive teams that struggle to stop it from setting up(RP);(ASC) However however, Mr. Mime is eternally afraid of faster foes and priority users, so bulky partners like Muk, Meganium, and Clefairy can are useful to help wall these threats. Thunder Wave from teammates like the aforementioned Clefairy can thwart faster revenge killers (feels incomplete without examples...).
