Any examples of Mega Altaria stall teams? I haven't been since before the new Mega-Evos were released due to uni, I don't know how the metagame has shifted in response to them. Mega Altaria looks extremely promising for stall though, as does Mega Slowbro.

Are people using full-on rain teams or just slapping Politoed onto a team with pokemon that don't find rain too detrimental? I don't call any old team with Politoed, Ferrothorn and Keldeo on it a rain team, I call that an offense team with rain slapped on.

I was thinking more -1 Spe Victini against Pursuit users. It can't use Will-o-Wisp to cushion the hit if its not faster. Also, Victini forces Mega Medicham out regardless due to Will-o-Wisp and Mega Gardevoir likely won't stay in to find out if you are special. I do see your point though...

On a frail sweeper/wallbreaker/revenge killer like Talonflame? Brave Bird and Sharp Beak is definitely worth it over Acrobatics and no item.

I like Stalltini because it checks Mega Medicham and Mega Gardevoir really well. I would go special though because the stat drops from V-Create are horrible for a defensive pokemon.

If you want less residual damage, why not use Sharp Beak/Charcoal to power up Brave Bird/Flare Blitz respectively, or even Leftovers. That is better than no item at all, at least in my mind it is.
