While I'd like to point out Furfrou, I think I see your point? The silhouette should be changed, is what you guys are saying, right? Maybe instead of a curled fluffy tail, I reshape it like one half of the yinyang symbol?

I'm not understanding the "boring design" complaint. If you look at the canonical designs, a good majority of Pokemon are very plain. Eevee, Squirtle, Magikarp, Meowth, Ekans, Psyduck, Rockruff, Litten, Fennekin, Arbok, Butterfree, and many many more pokemon have very simple and generic designs...
